“Leta was wonderful. She was punctual, respectful, and also was very detailed when it came to providing updates which was much appreciated. I would definitely book her again.”

“Lily was fantastic. She was responsive to our messages and our cats, who are usually standoffish, loved her. We felt safe that our cats were being cared for by someone who knew what they were doing and loves cats too. We will definitely be a returning customer.”

“Amber was great! Gus is a little shy but she made him warm right up and took him for his usual walk. He was a happy guy when I got home thanks to Amber’s professionalism and skills. Thank you!”

“Janna did great checking in on my three cats for a long weekend! She was very thorough about understanding and implementing care instructions, provided good communication and pictures, and was able to carefully accommodate one of my cats that is very fearful of strangers. I hope to be able to rebook with her in the future!”

“Regan was absolutely incredible! She took care of our cat, Maki, while we were out of the country for 3 weeks. She sent pictures at every visit and had excellent communication. There were a couple of hiccups with Maki while we were gone but Regan was extremely flexible and helpful. We can’t recommend her enough. Thank you Regan!”

About: My family and I have owned dogs since before I can remember, and I have helped take care of them, as well as petsit for others, since I was old enough to do so on my own. I am a generally calm and affectionate person around dogs, which makes me a good fit for more anxious/nervous dogs. I currently work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, which leaves weekends and Monday/Friday open for me to house/petsit! On Mondays I am free in the mornings and after 5pm, and on Fridays + weekends I am completely free. As I have my own anxious dog at home who really prefers to be a single dog, I am more comfortable housesitting than boarding. I am adaptable to most dog schedules, and am used to both high energy and low energy dogs.
“Betty was great! It was so nice knowing that my pup had someone like Betty to drop in on him while I was out of town. She sent photos and kind status updates every time she visited him. She was even caring enough to take her own time to drop by and meet my dog ahead of time. Would certainly recommend!”

“I have used Kort several times now and Piper, my 3yr okd rottie, seems very content and happy when he is around. He is very considerate of my home, and my pets. He sends pictures amd messages to let me know how they are doing, and has no issue cleaning up if one of the pets make a mess. Thank you Kort for taking such good care of my girls.”

About: Ive had animals my entire life, from small rodents to Great Danes. They all just need a little trust building and play time. Happy to provide any level of care needed. I currently work in the school system, so I dont have availability during the work day, but I am completely availability week-nights, weekends, and school breaks! I am willing to adjust activity levels to fit your animal's needs, how often they need play time, walks, downtime, or potty times. And Im willing to adhere to any rules of the household, if housesitting.
About: I’ve had many years to learn all the basic needs to take care of your furry friend, whether it’s playing, walking, cleaning up after, or just watching your pooch. From puppies to seniors I’d love to make sure your pet has the best time while you are away. I make money for myself so I have plenty of spare time to spend with my furry friends. I honestly enjoy the company and peacefulness of pets. (Even if some are a bit rowdy). Id tend to any needs my client asks and I don’t mind taking care of specials needs the pet may require. Of course I’m always able to clean up if they have an accident or make a mess. Making my clients and their furry friends happy is my main goal.
About: I was born with pets, cats and dogs. My best friend, a vet tech, has trusted me with her elderly husky and the 2 young ones. All adopted! I loved it so I adopted my own Husky, Kingston (that’s him in my photo). I know training is for the pet AND the human. Exercise, affection, and discipline are keys for a happy pet life, not aggression or cruelty. Pet health and grooming are second nature to me, and I have access to a licensed veterinary opinion in case of emergencies. Ask me anything if concerned, I want to be friends with your fur babies! I work 8 hour days during the week, off by 5. That leaves my availability at evenings and weekends for now. Pet has a LOT of energy? We’re gonna burn it! I go for walks 30 minutes twice daily, morning and evening. Feeding times are specific to the dog so I communicate with you on their routine so they can continue it and still fit in at puppy daycare! I have a two story duplex in Irvington, where I’m surrounded by parks and the Pleasant Run Trail. Pet has a LOT of energy? We’re gonna burn it! I go for walks since the husky boy needs it, and he is trained and friendly and likes to play with friends if allowed so he’s as excited as I am! We take 30 minute walks twice daily, morning and evening. We go to the the dog park (broad ripple or clay terrace) on Sundays. Feeding whenever convenient for the pet I’m watching, some dietetic pets need a strict timeline so we stick to that. Playtime when they are ready to play, but also an organized routine of games and training during that time. Whether I come to you or they come to me, the environment and schedule is pet friendly.
“Maja is the best! This was my second time booking with her, and she continued to provide top-notch communication and was so easy to work with. Will continue to rebook with her!”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life, and love them deeply. I volunteered with a cat rescue for 5 years, and last year started volunteering with a pitbull rescue, including doggy days out, events, and fostering. I wake up around 8am and feed my cat before letting my dogs out in the backyard for a potty break and to run around for a bit. I feed them and let them in to eat, and then play with them periodically while I work, and let them outside every two hours or so. If work allows, I take them for a midday walk as well. In the evening we hang out on the couch while I read or watch a show, and then they are crated for bedtime until we wake up. I have a fenced in backyard and two friendly dogs to play with. As of this writing I also have a very dog friendly foster dog as well. All three are crated at bedtime.
“Alexandria was a great sitter during our extended time away from our pets. She made the pets feel comfortable, followed all our instructions, and communicated following her visits and as we needed. Should we need a sitter in the future, we'll certainly reach out to her again! We highly recommend.”
“There is a reason why Christy has so many repeat customers and excellent ratings. She strikes me as a cat whisperer! We have a sweet, cuddly 14-year-old nervous cat who usually hides from people she doesn't know well. By day 3 or 4 of Christy visiting, our cat was seeking out Christy and requesting as much attention as Christy could provide. Christy's reports were great, and we returned to a much happier kitty than we have after previous trips. I highly recommend Christy to care for your pet!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Warren Park. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
