I'm an artist with a flexible schedule and a love for animals. I see every non-human being as kin, and genuinely enjoy connecting, learning, and being with them. Many years of pet sitting for family, friends, and co-workers has given the baseline skills of walking, feeding, giving meds, and most importantly...keeping up with the pet-parent pics! I have had cats in my home since I was old enough to live alone (lol thats a lot of years). I enjoy their interesting view on life, and love to play, have conversations, or offer my lap for some pet-time. My current kittie is a handsome photographic gentleman with very specific requirements for lap-time (legs extended with a blanket only!) My pup Eiko--a beautiful malamute and collie mix who passed in 2025--was my best friend and also my biggest teacher. With life-long health problems that led into old age, I feel comfortable with handling anxiety, reactiveness, medications, gentle tending, and mobility support. I know how important this was for me in finding sitters for Eiko. But I've had a lot of doggies in my life as well as boarding in our home while living in another state, so I really enjoy spending time with all types of breeds, energy levels, and personalities.

Safety, trust & environment
When dropping into your home for pet-care or going for a walk, I follow your instructions and guidelines. I know how important it is for pets to maintain their routine, and for expectations around behavior, food, and treats to be consistent. At the same time, I'll take care in getting to know your pet's personality. Just like getting to know a human, this takes time and trust-building--which is something I enjoy!

Janna was great! Janna was communicative, friendly, and very lovely with our four cats! Our cats seemed to really like their time with Janna. We would highly recommend them!
Janna did great checking in on my three cats for a long weekend! She was very thorough about understanding and implementing care instructions, provided good communication and pictures, and was able to carefully accommodate one of my cats that is very fearful of strangers. I hope to be able to rebook with her in the future!
Janna did great! She was prompt, kept us informed, and really bonded with Jasper. We plan to use her whenever we can!
Janna has been great with my dog! Very mindful of what he needs or what he could need. Good at communicating an quick with response times! Also great availability when it comes to last minute walking requests!

Schedule
I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule, which means I can easily do drop-ins and walks throughout the day and week. I like a few days notice to plan ahead, but for regular clients, I can easily do last minute requests.
