“Tiffany was great Gio was obviously smitten with her. More than anything she was able to help me out last minute which was a life saver. Will definitely try and use her again!”

About: Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always prefer preferred animals over humans! I’ve had cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, and I’ve never met a species of pet I don’t like! I’ve cleaned litterboxes, taken care of sick cats and dogs, walked and bathed dogs, and am constantly doing research to know more about our four legged family members! I currently work for myself and make my own hours, so I’m very flexible during the week! I have four cats of my own and one beloved nephew-puppy I often help care for. I’ve taken care of pets my whole life! I can provide a clean and safe environment for animals such as puppy proofing, litterbox cleaning, dish cleaning, and accident clean ups while also providing other services to keep your four legged friends happy and healthy such as walks, play time, and whatever you feel your pet may need.
“Haley has been an exceptional pet sitter for both of my pugs. Stewie is younger, wild and anxious, but sweet and loves to play. She shows him plenty of attention and takes the time to play with him. Lily is older, blind and has other medical issues and she always shows such gentle care. Recently, she got sick and Haley called me to alert me and even contacted the vet to pre-arrange an appointment. Haley also takes several photos, is flexible and gives very detailed notes. You never have to worry about your fur babies because they are in good hands. Definitely 6 star service!!”

“Amanda did a great job while I was out of town for a week. She kept me updated and sent me cute pictures. My senior kitty requires lots of care so it was great to know they were in good hands. Thanks again!”

About: I’ve always loved being around dogs! I've spent almost 3 years at a doggy daycare, where I'm actively learning how to read dog body language, keep group and 1-on-1 time safe, and handle feeding routines. Over the years, I’ve gained experience working with a variety of personalities including dogs who are reactive or display aggressive behavior. I also have my own reactive dog so I understand firsthand how important it is to be patient, attentive, and consistent. Taking care of animals is something I truly enjoy, and I always do my best to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m currently working part-time, but I’m free most Mondays and Wednesdays from the morning through late afternoon. Fridays are usually open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., since I work at 2 p.m. Feel free to ask about other days too, and I can let you know what works for me 😊 I unfortunately can't provide space for your beloved pet as I have a reactive dog and cat. However, I believe that I'm able to make your pet feel comfortable in its own home even if you're gone. I can be playful but also relaxed. I will be able to give your pet plenty of attention when they want it!
“Ellie did great with our big, anxious dog who needed meds each morning! She was responsive, asked needed questions, and took great care of our place for drop-ins. Will gladly schedule her again!”

“Adam was amazing with my sweet Junebug. She is very shy but she is also curious. He won her over with his attention to her needs. He was reliable, conscientious and took such good care of her. I highly recommend Adam. He won’t disappoint!!”

“Erin has been an amazing pet sitter for our cat, Creamsicle! She always takes lots of time during her visits to play with him, which he absolutely loves! Erin is very detail-oriented and has always followed any instructions regarding our home and care of Creamsicle. I highly recommend Erin to take great care of your pets! Thank you so much, Erin!!”

“Annie took great care of our cat! We booked her last minute, only a couple days before our trip. She was very responsive and even took the time to visit to see where everything is/pick up the key before we left. We were very pleasantly surprised our cat was interacting with her during her visits. He often hides under the bed with new people. Highly recommend.”

“Kaarin was attentive and kind to our cats! I was very nervous using Rover for the first time while being away in another state, but working with Karin definitely relieved that hesitation for us. Im sure my cat looks forward to getting more treats and brushes in the future from her!!!”

“Emily was a great pet sitter! She took such good care of the cats and gave them lots of love each visit. I felt totally comfortable having her taking care of them, I really didn’t worry at all on vacation! We would rebook with her again, no hesitation.”

About: Im new to rover but not new to pets. Ive been giving pets the care they need for about 5 years. I have experience with pets of all shapes and sizes, pets with high and low energy levels and seniors also. I cherish caring for all pets and believe all pets deserve the same amount of love, care and patience. I am available Monday and Tuesday 6am to 2pm and Wednesday through Friday 6am to 8am and 5:30pm to 8pm. I’m available in the colder months also. I am also very aware of the safety of your pet during walks and am extra cautious of allergies, anxieties and the comfortability of your pet. I also am very big on reading body language and giving your pet personal space when needed.
“Audrey took great care of my cat. She was attentive, caring, and even brought him homemade catnip! I would recommend Audrey to anyone looking for great a pet sitter.”

“Makenzie was wonderful with our little guy who tends to be nervous with new people. She gave us updates and pictures with each visit so we could see how he was doing. I highly recommend using Makenzie!”

“Richard and his wife keep Izzy for the day while we were out of town. He was amazing and kept us updated with pictures and a video of her playing with their dog Bruce! Izzy had a blast with Bruce and Richard & his wife were great at recapping the day and things to keep an eye out with our growing pup! She was exhausted after all the fun play time. We will absolutely have Izzy back if/when a need arises!”

“I just had Will stay with my dog for the first time and he did great! Mabel is pretty high energy and she was very happy and relaxed when I got home. I will definitely use Will again :)”

Alexis was great with my scared cat! She was patient and kind and they warmed up to each other quicker than he usually does! Made me so happy. She also went above and beyond because she found he knocked over his food container and picked it up. Will book again with her!

Adam was wonderful in taking care of my cats while I was away. This was the longest I’ve ever left them, and I had absolutely no worries knowing Adam was looking after them. One of my cats requires medication, and it was such a comfort to know they were in Adam’s care. He was reliable, caring, and gave me great peace of mind while I was away!

Timothy went above and beyond for us and our cats! We hired Timothy because we had a trip planned, but one of our cats got sick and needed someone to give him meds while we were gone. Timothy did a great job with giving our cat multiple medications in both pill and liquid form. Our cats really liked Timothy too and would beg him for pets. We also loved that Timothy sent thorough updates with pictures after every visit. Aside from doing the job description excellently, he was very flexible and helpful when our plans changed. We had to adjust the dates and almost had to cancel, but Timothy was very kind and understanding about it all. We also had a small emergency while we were gone - our apartment building’s fire alarm was triggered, and we had no idea if it was a real fire or false alarm. Timothy didn’t hesitate to head right over to check out the situation and help our cats calm down. We would not have felt comfortable going on our trip if it hadn’t been for Timothy; we knew our cats would be in good hands. Timothy understands how important pets are to their owners and genuinely wants to help. We will absolutely hire him again and encourage others to do the same!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
