“We are so happy with Ellen's care of our kitty while we were gone. She sent photos throughout her almost 3-week stay at our house, which let us see that Nazar was following his usual routines. She took the time to get to know him and let him decide when to seek her out (probably more important for a cat, and he's especially independent with new sitters). She even let him in & out, as we usually do, with no issues once they got to know each other. He was his normal happy self when we got home so he gives Ellen two dew claws up too! Ellen also did a great job feeding the menagerie of wildlife that traipses through our backyard. The birds were fed and feeders topped-off regularly, the feral kitties got wet food (and posed for pics too), and even the squirrels got their peanuts (I know, it's how we keep them off the bird feeders). Both my husband and I were very happy to have had Ellen housesit and care for our kitty. We will be happy repeat customers!”
About: I’ve had all kinds of pets in my home since I was little. I’ve learned through the years quality care, patience and trust building is essential for a healthy owner and pet relationship. I work from home every Friday and enjoy staying local on the weekends. This gives me the ability to pop in, go for walks and otherwise take care of your needs. It’s essential to me to provide a clean space for pets to thrive. I am attentive but understand the value of respect and the need to build trust with pets. Not every pet loves new friends! Adam was wonderful in taking care of my cats while I was away. This was the longest I’ve ever left them, and I had absolutely no worries knowing Adam was looking after them. One of my cats requires medication, and it was such a comfort to know they were in Adam’s care. He was reliable, caring, and gave me great peace of mind while I was away!
Timothy went above and beyond for us and our cats! We hired Timothy because we had a trip planned, but one of our cats got sick and needed someone to give him meds while we were gone. Timothy did a great job with giving our cat multiple medications in both pill and liquid form. Our cats really liked Timothy too and would beg him for pets. We also loved that Timothy sent thorough updates with pictures after every visit. Aside from doing the job description excellently, he was very flexible and helpful when our plans changed. We had to adjust the dates and almost had to cancel, but Timothy was very kind and understanding about it all. We also had a small emergency while we were gone - our apartment building’s fire alarm was triggered, and we had no idea if it was a real fire or false alarm. Timothy didn’t hesitate to head right over to check out the situation and help our cats calm down. We would not have felt comfortable going on our trip if it hadn’t been for Timothy; we knew our cats would be in good hands. Timothy understands how important pets are to their owners and genuinely wants to help. We will absolutely hire him again and encourage others to do the same!
