“Once again, Liz took care of my Raven like she was her cat! When I got home, Raven was happy, stress-free, and kind of indifferent to my arrival. All signs that she was well cared for. Thanks again, Liz! Barb”

“I just had Will stay with my dog for the first time and he did great! Mabel is pretty high energy and she was very happy and relaxed when I got home. I will definitely use Will again :)”
“Peyton left us incredibly detailed updates after each visit and went above and beyond in taking care of our cats. She fixed our automated cat feeder and spent time playing and cuddling with them. She was even able to grab our mail for us! I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future. Thank you, Peyton!”
“Amanda is amazing. We were so happy with her updates and reports regarding Molly our 14 year old. She was so attentive to her needs! The pictures she sent with the updates were some of the best pictures ever! We can’t thank her enough for caring for Molly! Thank you! 💕 Diane Von Ah and family”

“Brittany was amazing and Indy loved seeing her pull up to take her on walks. It was very helpful that she came over the day before to get acquainted with Indy and learn her eating routine. She was very communicative and sent pictures from each visit, which I adored. One of the days resulted in a shorter walk (bad weather), but she still took the time to hangout with my girl and keep her entertained. I will absolutely book Brittany again when I’m headed out of town!”

About: I am currently a proud parent to two cat, so I’m very well versed in their play styles and respecting their boundaries. However I spent my childhood with a loving dog who recently passed away. Navigating his senior years taught me that care isn’t just about walks or treats but about patience, sometimes administering medication, and recognizing subtle cues of a senior pet that may need a little extra comfort. Whether your pet is a high energy pet or senior pet who needs a gentle hand, I provide intuitive, dedicated, and delicate care that I’d want for my own. I’m currently a college student, but have lots of time to care for your pets! I’m available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30 PM-4:00 PM or 5:30 PM-10:00 PM. Thursday- Sunday I’m available anytime after 7:00 PM. Whatever your pets need, I have it covered and their safety is always my number one priority. From double checking that every gate is latched and every lease is secured/correctly on to closely monitoring your pets for any sign of discomfort, ill treat your home and your pets with the highest level of care. Whether it’s following a strict medication schedule or navigating a high energy walk, I’m prepared for any situation!
“Jenny was awesome! She came for a meet and greet before our trip so Mochi could get to know her. She went above and beyond with the daily report card and pictures. I could tell Mochi really enjoyed her time with Jenny.”

About: I have owned a dog of my own for 8 years, starting at 4 months old. This has given me experience in puppy training and potty training. I can teach sit, stay, and lay down! I also have years of experience volunteering at the animal shelter, walking dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I have very open availability throughout the week, from morning to evening, as well as open weekends for any of your pet care needs including drop-ins, walks, or house sitting! I only provide care at the clients house. I can leash if there is not a fenced in yard, crate if needed, and any other specific requests.
“This was our first time having Nicole watch our dogs. She is very accommodating with other things like packages, mail, watering plants etc. Our dogs felt comfortable with her right from the start. By the end of the week they were very happy to see her arrive for love fun and food. It made us feel great knowing they were in good hands. Nicole is very good and quick with communicating. I highly recommend her.... except when we need her time of course... 😉”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care Debbie provided for my Peter! From the very first meet-and-greet, it was clear she cared about animals. Debbie kept me updated with adorable photos and little notes about my dog’s day, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Debbie is also very communicative and responsive to all my questions. I highly recommend Debbie to anyone.”

“Raelyn did a wonderful job watching our cat, Soleil! The day before we left for vacation, we had to take him to the vet because he seemed to be having some kidney issues. This made me extra nervous to leave him, but I was put at ease with all the pictures and updates Raelyn provided. Raelyn’s communication and love for animals (especially cats) is top notch and we will definitely be booking her again.”

“Gianna was awesome! She paid great attention to the special needs of my 2 cats (one that needed liquid medicine put into her wet cat food) and was able to provide some play time with them as well. She even took a Petco box that arrived while I was gone inside to bring the huge bag of prescription food inside to open and fill the cat bowls with it. Would definitely use again the next time I needed someone to take care of my kitties.”

“Brelynn is amazing! She was so kind and gentle with my senior dog, who needs medicine hidden in wet food and also needs assistance getting up and down the stairs to my deck. Even in frigid January temperatures, Brelynn gave my dog the outdoor time she needed and then cuddled with her indoors for the rest of the visit. She gave my dog more time and attention than I can provide over a rushed lunch hour, and I’m so grateful for the loving care she gave my doggy!”

Raelyn is amazing. She was extremely caring and conscientious, leaving great notes, keeping the litter box very clean, and even doing the extra things like watering plants and cleaning up after our geriatric cat made messes. When our indoor/outdoor cat decided not to come home on schedule, she came back in the evening without my even asking. We would 100% have Raelyn pet sit for us again.
Liz takes the best care of our boys and they love her so much! We never worry about leaving our cats in Liz’s care…she shares how they are doing, sends pictures and updates each day she checks in on them. Liz has looked in on our cats several times now and I truly and highly recommend her services!

I could not say enough good things about Jenny! She was so wonderful with my cat junie. She always communicated with me and kept me in the loop. I will definitely be booking Jenny for any future drop in visits! Thank you so much Jenny! You were such an angel!

Kia was great and we definitely plan to use her again for our upcoming trips. Kia stopped by prior to our trip for a meet and greet and to get instructions on feeding and medication, which made me feel more comfortable. She provided excellent care for our two cats during our 10 day vacation, and I loved the comments and pictures she provided as updates each time she visited. I highly recommend booking Kia if you're looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Augusta. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
