About: I’ve Took care and trained dogs and cats of all sorts since I was 11. I fed , bathed and walked them. Everybody relied on me to take care of their pets while they was at work or just away. I got so used to doing it I fell in love with it. I have a real strong passion for animals and I hope one day I become a vet. Dealing with cats and dogs would really help me. About: I have cared for and lived with several dogs throughout my life. We have a female black lab named Vanta. There is someone home at nearly all times of the day, so your dogs will have free roam of the house and can go in and out of the fenced in back yard as they please! We also have an 8 year old son that loves to help! I am a preschool teacher, so I am able to do afternoon and evening visits during the week and anytime on the weekend and during school breaks. I work normal school hours, but there is another adult home at almost all times of the day. We have a fenced in yard and a doggy door into the backyard. About: I grew up with our family dog Charlie (a Beagle/Spaniel/Terrier mix). My family adopted him when he was 3 years old (I was around 8 years old), and we grew up alongside each other until he passed away at the age of 12. In 2019, I dogsat my cousin's 2 dogs (both were hound mixes) while she was out of town for a weekend. In 2020, I adopted a 2 year old Beagle named Daisy Mae, who was my beloved fur baby and the center of my universe. It was such a blessing to be her mom. The two of us lived very happily together from September 2020 until she passed away in April 2025 due to the rapid progression of a medical condition she was born with. I'm still grieving her passing, and I’m not personally ready to adopt yet, but I love dogs, and it was hard not having many fur babies around me before I joined Rover in May 2026 (except for some friends with dogs). I’m walking and staying with dogs so I can enjoy more time around furry friends. Since I began taking care of dogs on Rover, I have stayed with anywhere from 1-3 dog siblings together at one time, and have no problem handling multiple dogs. Unfortunately, I found out recently that I’m allergic to cats, so I’m only able to stay with dogs. I currently have a part-time job, and I work 4 hour shifts. In my life, I have cared for multiple cats for over 12 years, co-parented an adult Vizsla for a year who had frequent seizures, and co-parented two elderly Dachshunds (both 19 years old - one was blind and the other had severe arthritis in her hips). About: I have had pets my whole life, and grew up in a lively family with dogs and cats. I love to watch my friend’s and family member’s pets when need be and I love to give their animals some extra love! My family pets are all back home in Florida while I am here for school, so I would love to give some extra love and attention to your pets. I am a full time student so I spend my weekends studying, which allows me to spend my time with the pets that I’m pet sitting and have a great companion as a study buddy:) I am currently a full time student, I have classes 8-5 Tuesday-Thursday, but I live next to my campus so I am able to pop home multiple times during those days. However, Friday-Monday I am available to be home for the day as I spend my time studying at home for the most part anyway. I have a car and am willing to go to the pet or board the pet at my apartment! I live in a studio apartment by my self, your pets would be well loved and taken care of here. I take many walks outside as it is, so I would be extra attentive to getting your dog the walks and exercise they need. I am also willing to go to the clients home and work with what works best for the client and the pets!
