About: I have had dogs and cats as pets for all of my life. I love to be where animals are and take care of them like my own. Being able to be a comfort person to your own pets is what brings me joy! I am currently on summer break as I am a teacher so I am pretty flexible to come and care for your lovely pets when needed. I have a dog at home that is reactive to other animals, so all home sitting will be at clients house. When there I make sure I treat the space and the animals as if it/they were my own.
About: I have professional experience working in veterinary medicine and providing compassionate, attentive care to animals with a wide range of personalities and needs. Through my experience, I have developed skills in recognizing changes in behavior, safely handling pets, administering medications when directed, monitoring overall health and comfort, and helping reduce stress during care. I’m comfortable caring for energetic pets, senior pets, and animals that may need extra patience or attention. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important trust, communication, and consistency are. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in experienced and caring hands. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, with Thursdays and weekends off, but I still make time to provide dependable pet care around my schedule. I’m available for morning drop-ins, evening visits, overnight care when planned in advance, and have greater flexibility on Thursdays and weekends for longer visits, walks, and quality time. I understand how important routines are for pets and will work with owners to make sure their pets receive consistent, attentive care that fits their needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. With my background in veterinary medicine and hands-on animal care experience, I pay close attention to behavior, routines, and any signs that a pet may be stressed or uncomfortable. I believe trust is built through communication, consistency, and treating every animal with patience and respect. I work to create a calm, safe, and positive environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away, and I provide updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring and experienced hands.

“I can’t say enough good things about Maja. This was my first time using Rover, and she made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. She met with me and Taytum beforehand to ensure it was a good fit and took the time to explain how the booking, cancellation, and visit process works, which I really appreciated. From there, everything went perfectly. She was always on time and followed every instruction carefully, including feeding, crate schedule, and keeping everything secure. She also sent plenty of pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Maja truly went above and beyond in ways that you don’t often see. Taytum adored her, and it’s obvious she truly cares about dogs. I have a larger dog, and she handled her with ease and confidence. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future. If I could give her 1 million stars, I would! Thank you, Maja, for taking such good care of my fur baby!”

“Marek went above & beyond for my requests, he even wiped up the floor when it was raining. He brought & used HIS OWN towel for that. 10/10 would always use his services again!”

“Yall - our cat Bombur has had some medical issues and needed a specific medication regimen in addition to the two other cats she was helping us with. My most scared cat came up to her! She has the best energy. She sent photos and went above and beyond.”

“Hailey was amazing with my 1-year-old cat! She followed instructions perfectly and gave him lots of love and playtime. She sent photos and even went last minute to check on him for me when I was worried he had gotten into something he shouldn’t have. Absolutely book with her!!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - University Heights
Ty was wonderful and very thoughtful. He spent a good amount of time with our cat and was always punctual. Momo, who is quite shy, actually played with him and was able to build trust with him. When we got back, the house was exactly how we had left it. He was prompt with communication and sent us pictures of our pet during each visit. We would definitely hire Ty again for future needs.

Paola was great with our cats. They have to be fed separately and with care and she was more than able to accomplish that. She was able to routinely locate our cat that likes to hide. Our skittish cat even got some pets from her! Paola always made sure to send us pictures and updates and really kept us in the loop and helped ease our minds. We knew our pets were in good hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
