Safety, trust & environment

Dog Daycare: Dogs are welcomed into a relaxed, safe environment with plenty of supervised play, potty breaks, and downtime. I pay close attention to each dog’s energy level and personality so they get the right mix of activity and rest. Dog Check-Ins: A typical dog check in will include: food/water refresh, potty break, walking and/or general play as time allows. I always send a Rover card outlining their check-in. Cat Check-Ins: A typical cat check in will include: food/water refresh, litter box cleaning, general play/brushing/quality time as time allows. I always send a Rover card outlining their check-in. Dog Walks: I focus on safe, enjoyable walks that match your dog’s pace and needs. I always send a Rover card outlining their walk.

Information Kelsey D. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your pet, it’s helpful to know their feeding schedule and any dietary needs, medications or health concerns, energy level and favorite activities, leash behavior and walking preferences (for dogs), and any fears, quirks, or triggers. I also love knowing what helps your pet feel calm and comfortable. The more you share, the easier it is for me to give your pet the best care and keep them happy and at ease while you’re away.

A typical day

I like to keep pets happy and engaged based on their personality and energy level. For dogs, that usually means playtime (with toys or fetch), walks with lots of sniff breaks, some light training mixed into walks or play, and plenty of cuddle or chill time for dogs who love attention. For cats, it might be interactive toy play, puzzle toys, brushing, or just hanging out together for cats who prefer a calmer vibe. I always follow your pet’s lead and focus on what they enjoy most so they feel comfortable, relaxed, and happy.

Pet care experience

I genuinely love spending time with animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, from high energy puppies/cats who need structure and play to older pets who need a slower pace and a little extra care. I’m comfortable with medications, special feeding instructions, and pets who might be a bit shy or anxious. I also make communication a priority, so you’ll always get updates and photos and know your pet is happy and well cared for.

Kelsey was very communicative and our dogs loved going on a walk with her! She was good with our reactive dog, too.
