“Deontae was great! I have an anxious and high energy herding dog who can be a handle full, but didnt phase Deontae at all. He also had great communication. I definitely plan on using him again.”

About: When I was a kid, I helped my grandfather on his horse farm and would take care of the barn cats. Since then, I have lived in a 3 cat household where two of the cats did not get along and created a schedule so they could both be happy. I can bathe a pet myself if needed, as I have done this for my cat Juniper. My grandparents have two smaller dogs Ginger and Cleo I have cared for for a few days. We have fun taking walks and exploring nature. For bigger dogs, when I was in high school, I would help with the neighbors' Bernese mountain dog Abby, and I have spent a lot of time with my aunt A's doodle Bruno. I have also spent time with medium size dogs, as my aunt B has two pitbull mixes, that are very affectionate and love the dog park. I know that all dogs have different needs and I try to met them. This means that with my uncle’s older pup we won’t do any jogging, but with my aunt’s younger doodle we will definitely jog a bit. I work in education and currently have my days free to spend with furry friends. This means I can be flexible when it comes to pet sitting and spending the night. I am a very friendly, clean, and organized person and I’ll make sure that if I am coming over to your home that food is served and any accidents are cleaned up. As long as you give me a list of what needs to happen for your furry friend, I’ll make sure it gets done. From crating your pup to tricking your pet to take their medication For pups, I will ensure they’ll get the amount of walks needed a day, as well as some outdoor playtime with whatever games they like to play. I will make sure that there is no poop left on our path and check to make sure there isn't anything concerning. Plus, I will feed them according to their schedule. For cats, I will ensure that they get two square meals a day and that their water is never empty. I will also pet and play with them as much as they desire because some cats are more recluse than others. I will also scoop out their litter box, and clean out the litter box if needed
“Paola helped me out last minute and was able to provide 2 long walks for my dog while I worked a 14 hour shift. 💗 She sent me so many pictures and I think he likes her more than he likes me!”

About: You can trust that I will take care of your animals just like my own. They will love me just as much as they love you. If you need to leave them behind, then no worries. I work full time but have time to come take care of your animals. I deliver for a third party Amazon company that doesn't start until 11am. I treat all animals the same, with love and compassion. If needed, I can come meet them beforehand to get them comfortable with seeing me before being stuck with them without you there.

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and others dogs reliably since I was 16. I'm twenty six now and definitely unafraid to help with furry friends. I enjoy animals and am not afraid of dogs in the slightest. The biggest animal I have cared for was a horse so I feel pretty confident in my ability. I'm currently transitioning from a school job into the summer. So my time is very flexible and I'm available most days of the week. I'm not picky on the day people need me I just want to make sure I have enough of a heads up to properly schedule my days in advance. I enjoy playing and entertaining myself and the animals through it. I thoroughly enjoy active dogs and would enjoy getting to know yours. Don't get me wrong though old yeller can sit on the couch if needed I'll make sure the couch potatoes get some love too. If breakable are in the house which is in most cases. I prefer to play with the dogs outside if possible. I like knowing the dogs food schedules if they need fed to ensure they don't lose their eating cycle habits.

I go to karaoke pretty religiously on Tuesday nights, but otherwise can offer extreme flexibility on pet care, whether that's during the day, dropping in for walks, meals, and bathroom breaks, or overnight stays! About: Walk. Wag. Repeat. 🐾 Hi, I’m Sebastian! Animals have always been the center of my world, and my business, Silly Moose & Co, is named in honor of my late, beloved dog, Layla. Her nickname was "Silly Moose," and she taught me everything about patience, unconditional love, and the joy of a wagging tail. I founded this business to carry on her legacy by treating every pet I meet with that same "Moose-sized" love. 📬 The "Pet's Best Friend" Professional By day, I’m a Letter Carrier, which truly makes me a pet's best friend! I’m out in the community every day, rain or shine, and I’ve mastered the art of making friends with every pup on the block. My career means I am exceptionally reliable, punctual, and used to being active in all types of weather. 🐾 Rescue-Tested Experience When I’m not on my route, I’m dedicated to rescue work. I am a current volunteer at Sketchy Mutts and Underdogs, and I previously spent time with the ASPCA as a shelter walker and dog photographer. These roles have given me invaluable experience with all personality types—from the shyest "underdogs" needing a patient hand to high-energy pups ready for an adventure. 🐈⬛ Tailored Care for Cats While the dogs are out walking, the feline family members aren't forgotten! I offer tailored services specifically for cats. As a "servant" to two cats who rule my own home, I know that every cat is unique—whether they want high-energy laser chasing, gentle brushing, or just some quiet company. I’m happy to handle feedings, litter box maintenance, and plenty of "slow blinks." 🏠 My "Moose" Crew at Home My home is shared with Buttercup, my sweet 5-year-old blue nose Staffordshire Terrier, and my two feline house-rulers. Because I live with a Staffy, I am especially comfortable and experienced with "bully breeds" and larger, powerful dogs. 🤝 The Silly Moose Promise Whether it’s boarding, walking, or house sitting, I know your pets are your family. My background in hospitality and community work means I bring a high level of reliability, attention to detail, and clear communication to every booking. Ready to start the cycle? Let’s Walk. Wag. Repeat. I am a Letter Carrier for the United States Post Office, I love animals and will always make time to meet new friends. I am in a transition phase in my career post injury and am trying to be a full time pet friend. At Silly Moose & Co, my care philosophy is built on the cycle of Walk. Wag. Repeat. I believe that a happy pet is one that feels safe, stimulated, and understood. Here is how I ensure your furry family member gets the best experience: 1. Building Trust Through Patience Every pet has a unique "vibe." Drawing from my experience with Sketchy Mutts and Underdogs, I never force a connection. I use "slow blinks" with cats and respectful body language with dogs to let them come to me. Whether they are shy rescues or high-energy "Silly Mooses," I meet them where they are. 2. Structured Walks & Sensory Play As a Letter Carrier, I know the streets like the back of my hand. I don’t just "walk" dogs; I provide structured outings. This includes sniffing breaks for mental stimulation (sensory play) and consistent pacing to ensure they get the physical exercise they need. 3. Meticulous Routine & Safety Pets thrive on consistency. I stick strictly to your feeding, medication, and bathroom schedules. My background in hospitality means I have a sharp eye for detail—I check water bowls, ensure gates are latched, and keep litter boxes "deep-clean" fresh for my feline clients. 4. Communication is Key I know how much you miss them! You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you can see the "Wag" in action. I treat your home with the same respect I give my own, ensuring everything is secure and tidy. 5. Specialized Skills From handling "bully breeds" like my Staffy, Buttercup, to administering medications or even bathing a reluctant cat, I have the hands-on experience to handle the unexpected with a calm, steady hand.

University Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
I am so happy that I was introduced to Karissa through my regular Rover dog walker… she is amazing!!! It was instantly clear in our meet and greet that she loves fur babies of all kinds and would take great care of mine while I’m away. I am so appreciative of her extra effort and willingness to drive a very long distance (twice a day!) so my dog can enjoy his long walks/fetch sessions- most people would never do that. She is punctual, reliable, thorough, quick to answer messages, and very caring- my highest recommendation 💖.
