I am a lover of all things animals and I can’t wait to help care for your babies! Looking for part time work to supplement my 8-4. I am available after 5pm on weekdays and during most of the day on weekends. Please let me know how I can best serve you and your babies! :) I have always been a lover of animals. I grew up on a farm with horses, bunnies, dogs, and cats. Pets have always been at the center of my life. My current two kitties, Lily and Daisy, are my whole world! I will treat your babies with the same love, care, and respect as I do my own.
“Taylor took such great care of my pup! She was very communicative, and Trooper seemed to have a great time with her. I’ll definitely be using her for his walks in the future!”
“Courtney has been absolutely amazing with our dog Bia. She has accommodated last minute requests. Her communication is excellent during scheduling requests and walks. Most importantly Bia loves her! Highly recommend.”

About: My name is Gia and I’ve just moved from Austin, Tx to Indy! I’ve always have a soft spot for animals.I try to befriend any pet I meet Ive been on rover for 2 years now and love the pets ive met! I’ve been pet sitting for 10+years. I love my fur baby, J.R., and all my family/friends fur babies. I’m always here to lend a hand! I understand finding a sitter can be tough! Plus making sure you and your pet likes and trusts them is very important. I hope to build that bond with you and your fur baby! I’m open to whatever you need! I am new to Indy and looking for new clients in the area. I am originally from Texas! When staying in the home I will often send updates on what the babies and I are up to. When checking in I always send pictures. I love treating the pets to fun outings, or special treats while im caring for them! Any concerns or slight behavioral changes, I will message family. I’m constantly stream lining communication. With cats I tend to offer play or cuddles depending. I never want to stress the cat out so I definitely am spacious when first sitting for a cat. Thats why meet and greet with kitties are a MUST! Dogs I offer walks, outside time/ play time, and cuddles. I have yet to meet a dog that doesn’t like me (ᵔᴥᵔ)
About: I raised my goldendoodle from being a puppy to a full-grown, now 3-year-old adult. I potty-trained her, house-broke her, and took care of her from morning to night. I adopted my cat in college and I’ve had her for six years. I have dogsat for multiple neighbors, family friends, and family members in the past and I greatly enjoy it. I was part of a professional pet sitting business in college and had 5 stars. I also worked at a doggy daycare facility in college and loved it! I love all animals and truly understand the concern when having another person taking care of your fur babies. I promise to take the very best care of your fur babies. I work for myself as a licensed esthetician so I have a lot of flexibility and control with my schedule! I love animals so much and enjoy spending time with and taking care of them! I treat my cat as another member of my family that deserves the same care and love as a person! We have multiple enrichment activities for her and we pay close attention to her diet and adjust it accordingly to her needs and preferences.
About: I have a master's and bachelor's in animal science and plenty of experience with an array of different animal needs, demeanors, and personalities. Taking care of animals is truly what I love to do. Pet care is built into my routine through daily feeding, walks, playtime, and grooming, plus weekly cleaning and health checks. It provides structure to my day and keeps me active, mindful, and consistent. I care for pets by providing regular feeding, exercise, supervision, and enrichment. Although I don’t have a fenced yard, I use a designated area in my apartment where dogs can safely roam, play, and relax, along with scheduled walks and attentive care.
“AMAZING! Spectacular! There isn’t a word to express how amazing Jason and Tania are! Kona was treated like a king :) Tania sent the best pictures and always let me know how Kona was feeling. She communicated every concern and showed how much she loves what she does. After a few walks she figured out his likes and dislikes and just let my pup do his thing whether that was rolling in the grass and just chilling or watching all the squirrels. Kona also LOVED Tania, you could tell by the pictures. I was always at ease knowing that Kona was being cared for so wonderfully. Not only are the best people ever, they are also extremely flexible and are amazing communicators. When ever I had a last minute walk needed or a change in schedule they were eager to help make that change. They will be Kona's number one choice for walks for life. ❤️”

“Allison has walked my dog for a week while I have been at work. Her and her boyfriend have done an amazing job with my dog. I would suggest them to others and plan on using them in the future.”

About: I have dog mom for 10 years and grew up with cats and dogs in our home. My husband and I currently have two dogs (Ozzy and Lina) and love them like they are our children --sometimes more-- little boys can be ruthless! ;) I am a teacher by day and have ample time after the students go home to take care of your fur babies. Weekends are entirely open (aside from the occasional sporting event) to help take care of and love on your pets. I am caring and attentive and will make sure that all instructions are followed in caring for your pets. I know it is important to always do as the owners see fit.
About: I’ve been pet sitting on and off since I was about 13 years old. Family, friends & neighbors would often ask me to stop by throughout the day or stay overnight with their dogs and/or cats while they were out of town. I grew up in an animal-loving family that always had dogs and/or cats, so I am very comfortable with their care and LOVE spending time with them. I work 3 nights a week. My schedule may vary from week to week, especially for overnight services, but it overall allows me to be very flexible on my days off. I keep my schedule up to date on Rover to accurately reflect my availability. I am currently unable to have other pets in my apartment due to lease restrictions, so care will have to occur at your home. If you tell me what to do with your pet or leave instructions, I will be sure to follow them and keep your pet happy and healthy :)

“BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! This is my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous. But Ariana took good care of my puppy, Indy. She also took so many pictures every step of the way, and that made me feel so comfortable. Thank you, Ariana for taking care of my baby! Indie will definitely see more of you and his future!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
