I even worked at PetSmart back when it used to be known as "Petstuff" in the 1990s! I recently lost my 14.5 year old Aussie to old age, but just adopted a wonderful new shelter dog that loves other animals. I also have a cat and love cats and other furry critters as well. I believe that pets love me back because I treat them like kids- talk with them, play with them, get silly with them. About: I’ve been pet sitting on and off since I was about 13 years old. Family, friends & neighbors would often ask me to stop by throughout the day or stay overnight with their dogs and/or cats while they were out of town. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
