“Kate and Josh were responsive and attentive to our two pups the couple of days they were boarding. They were great hosts and send pics daily of the dogs frolicking in the back yard and having a good time. Will definitely plan on taking our dogs there again when we have to go out of town.”

“Marilyn was fantastic! This was our first trip without my 8 month old puppy for the weekend and I felt like she was in really great hands! Marilyn was friendly and easy to work with. I was able to stop by and meet her a week or so before to make sure it would be a good fit for my dog. She sent pictures and videos throughout the weekend. Remmy had a great time playing with her dogs and enjoying her backyard. It's nice to be confident she is being well taken care of when I'm out of town. Would definitely recommend Marilyn and will book again for future trips.”

“Debbie and Jeffrey are amazing care givers! Our dog is always well cared for and he loves staying there. They are flexible and communicate regularly, sending pictures and updates. They are my permanent option for my dog Loki.”

“RB and Darwin had a wonderful weekend with Brook. I was a bit nervous because I had never left our 4 legged kids with anyone but Brook was amazing. Sent me pics and video and took perfect care of our boys. Would most definitely recommend. Very happy.”

About: Need a weekend getaway? Let your pet have one, too! I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and I know how stressful it can be to leave them behind. That's why I open my home for weekend boarding (Friday morning to Sunday night). My house is incredibly pet-friendly. Your dog will have a securely fenced yard to run around in, free roam of the house, and plenty of cozy spots to nap. They will also have some great company! My resident pack includes a super friendly 1-year-old Lab mix who loves to play, plus two older Pomeranians and a laid-back cat who knows how to keep things chill. If your pet is a little older or needs some extra care, you can rest easy. I have plenty of experience caring for senior dogs with medical issues and am completely comfortable administering medications. My pets are my world, and I promise to treat your babies as if they were my own. I can't wait to host them! I currently work full time and am home on the weekends. I can host your pets from Friday evening until Sunday evening. I only need 1 day notice. I have a fenced in yard and I offer continuous access outside weather permitting. I can crate your pet if needed. Treats and snacks and lots of love will be provided.
About: I have a master's and bachelor's in animal science and plenty of experience with an array of different animal needs, demeanors, and personalities. Taking care of animals is truly what I love to do. Pet care is built into my routine through daily feeding, walks, playtime, and grooming, plus weekly cleaning and health checks. It provides structure to my day and keeps me active, mindful, and consistent. I care for pets by providing regular feeding, exercise, supervision, and enrichment. Although I don’t have a fenced yard, I use a designated area in my apartment where dogs can safely roam, play, and relax, along with scheduled walks and attentive care.
“This was Tanner and Max’s first stay with Tonya. When we picked them up they seemed happy and well cared for. There was lots of space at Tonya’s and other dogs to socialize with. Tonya seems like she really likes animals.”

“Couldn’t ask for a better sitter than Kelsey for our cat. We received daily updates and fun pics and Kelsey also went above and beyond to keep our spoiled cat comfortable with her usual habits 😄. I’m happy to recommend Kelsey to anyone and I hope she will always be available when we need care for Rain.”

About: I am a certified dog groomer. I own five cats and have been taking great care of and feeding cats and dogs for my friends and family. I absolutely love animals! I’ll have ample time to play, feed, and walk with all of your furry companions! If you need anything else, feel free to reach out to me. My spacious and fenced backyard offers ample room for dogs to play, walk, and run freely. We’ll have plenty of space to explore and enjoy.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Greenwood
We loved Nicole and her hubs. They were VERY communicative and knowledgeable about dogs and great with how they run their business. We could tell they were thoughtful about the comfort, temperament styles and importance of dogs feeling safe and loved. Our pup didn't even want to leave! He rolled over on his back to stay when he realized it was time to go! LOL. They sent updated pictures throughout his stay too. We'd recommend and will be using them from now on.

Would highly recommend Laura! She was so great to work with; was very knowledgeable. She took great care of our fur baby. Was very nervous because this was the first time we were leaving him and for a whole week. Chumlee was so cared for, he loved it with Laura and her fur babies. So glad we found her. She was sure to send us pictures so we didn’t miss him too bad, although I don’t think he missed us at all. Definitely will use her again for future needs.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
