About: I have had dogs for the past 40 years and cannot imagine my house without them. I have one dog currently, Toby. He is a very sweet boy who loves all dogs and people. I would love to pamper your fur baby! I am retired and have all day to take care of your special fur baby. I would love to play with your dog and make them feel special. I have a fully fenced in yard with a privacy fence, and also a doggy door, so your pooch is able to go out and in as they wish. My dog, Toby, is very social and friendly so your baby will have a playmate.
“Kaylee is so fantastic!! She treated my Ollie like her own, was very patient with his puppy behaviors, and even taught him new tricks! I got lots of updates and pictures and felt so at ease knowing he was well loved and taken care of. Your fur baby will be well taken care of with Kaylee!”

“Louie was very happy at Sharon’s and even had a play date. He got walked and Sharon went above and beyond with texts, pictures, and videos. We would definitely go back.”

“Gianna is the best!! Our pup stayed with her for 10 days and had a great time, like she was on vacation too! Gianna sends pictures daily without me even having to ask and it’s clear our pup is enjoying her stay in each pic 🥰. We will most definitely be booking with her again!!”

“First booking experience for our dog Nina and with Niky. Being her first boarding experience, Nina was nervous and Niky was gentle and patient to her. As a veterinary nurse, Niky demonstrated that she really knows how to take care of your pet. Evident dog lover, and a dog owner herself, she will send photo and video updates, which definitely was a plus. Grateful to have Niky helping us. Will repeat for sure!”

“My pups were well taken care of and being able to lay on the couch/bed made it just like home! Kris was super nice & sent me pictures of the dogs while I was gone & little updates. There’s a huge backyard & plenty of room for all the dogs to hang out.”

“First time ever using Rover so we were a little nervous leaving Russ. Porsha took great care of him and gave us updates that he was doing just fine. We would definitely let Russ stay with her again!”

“I am so grateful to have found people that can take care of my Cocoa when I go out of town. They were very kind and accommodating. I could tell my girl had a great time.”

“This was my pet’s first overnight stay with Jacklyn, and her first extended overnight with any non-family member. My pet was so well taken care of, and I got regular pup-dates on how she was doing! Jacklyn is polite, professional, courteous, and was so sweet with my pet. We look forward to using her services again another time!”

“I can't begin to thank Kelli enough from her flexibility to how patient she was with my doggos. I'm so thankful to have found her and for all the love she gave them while I was gone! She sent us pictures and progress messages letting me know how they were acclimating. Definitely recommend!!! ?”

“Karla was great. This was the longest I have left Geoff with someone and not once was I worried. She sent photos and videos and ensured he had a great time. I’d say I spoil my dog a lot and she treated him as I would have treated him and I love that.”

“I can’t recommend her enough! She was so sweet and kept me updated the entire time with tons of pictures and messages. Cooper had an absolute blast at her house, especially playing with her dog. It made me feel so comfortable knowing he was in such good hands. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I’ve had dogs since high school and would love your pup like my own. You can count on me to give your fur baby the best experience! Hi, I’m Maria! I am a lover of all breeds of dogs. I currently have a labradoodle named Millie who has been trained as a therapy dog. I’ve had numerous dogs since high school and even a rabbit at one time! I currently work a part time 3 days a week so I’m open on Wednesday and Friday mornings to help out and possibly do some sitting if my schedule allows it. Feel free to message me and we can work it out :). When caring for your baby, I will make sure to send plenty of photos and updates. I have used other sitters in the past and appreciate the reports I would get from them regarding my pup was doing and it always made my day. I am a very active individual so I love going on long walks with my pup Millie. We’d love for your dog to join us! I have plenty of experience feeding, giving meds, playtime, and lots of snuggles!
“Julie did a great job watching Roxy for us! We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing she was happy and being well cared for, she provided daily updates with pictures, will definitely use her again.”

“Wonderful first Rover experience at Sheila’s house for the weekend. Like an airbnb for dogs! Bodhi had so much fun and got to learn how to be a dog again and play!! Sheila took great care and gave bodhi her medicine as well. So grateful to have this home outlet since i didnt want bodhi to sleep in a kennel. We will be back!”

About: I used to work for a doggy daycare and boarding facility for a year & now i’ve been with Rover for almost 2 years. I’m great with administering medicine, preparing meals, baths and I can trim nails! I understand the importance of trust within our arrangement, and I look forward to working with you! I am currently a Senior at IUI for public safety management! It’s summer currently but in August i’ll have class M-W! I’m free all day on Fridays & weekends! I have a furbaby who loves to nap with other dogs! If you choose me rest assured they’ll be pampered with long walks, enrichment toys, and sweet treats!
“I was very happy with my service with Jaclyn. I traveled overseas and was gone for 11 days. Jaclyn took care of Louie the whole time I was away. I was so happy knowing that I did not have to worry about my doggie from the other side of the world! I knew he was well taken care of. Also, when I messed up on the timing of my return - she was so kind and gracious about it! She even went above and beyond and brought Louie home to me so I didn’t have to go out and get him. That was above and beyond and I really appreciated it so much. I will definitely be using them again!”

“Would definitely use her again. Our dog was well taken care of the entire time we were gone. We got pictures and updates while we were gone. The most important thing was we returned to a happy pup. I would definitely recommend using Janet.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Camby
Stephanie was so kind and warm and sent so many videos to ease my separation and give me security while my pets were there. They had a great time and felt at home. I could tell by the candid photos she took and them playing. She was very accommodating and forgiving as they ripped around her home playing. I would recommend her to anyone. Her dog is very gentle and patient with my young silly pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
