“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. Thanks again for a great stay!”

I was anxious about leaving my 4 3/4 month old, and not completely potty trained, puppy, Bronte, after only having her for a month after adopting, but I had an out of town emergency. She assured me she wouldn’t be upset about accidents , “That’s what carpet cleaners are for!” Well, the first night was really rough with Bronte absolutely refusing the crate and multiple accidents. Gianna sent me a sweet picture of Bronte and one of her dogs sleeping with her son in the couch. Things improved after that, and Bronte settled in, feeing at home. She got lots of love from the whole family. She still had some accidents (yes, I tipped her!), but she was obviously happy in the photos I got. I can’t thank Gianna enough. About: Hello! I am an elementary school teacher and someone who loves animals! I am located in Decatur Township. I would love to give your pets some extra attention while you are away for a few hours or a few days and will treat and care for them as my own. I have two cats and two dogs of my own that have all been rescues from the animal shelter. I have also been a foster volunteer for Southside Animal Shelter. About: I have cared for many animals growing up, my mom and I were both adopters of all kinds of strays. But I have been loving and caring for my very own sweet girl for 9 years! We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. Please allow your pet to be my outlet so I stop asking my husband for another dog 😬 I am a homeschool momma so I am home or outside adventuring most of the day. I have a nice sized yard, however, it is not fenced in so if your fur baby likes to run off from time to time we may not be a good fit. I have 3 small kiddos (and myself) who would love nothing more than to snuggle on your pup! And our Vega girl enjoys running and playing with other doggos so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise! We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while you pup stays with us). However, due to having small children and chicks we will require a meet and greet before your precious pup comes to stay with us.

About: I grew up with my own pets. I worked for a family member in high school, helping her in her grooming and kennel facility. Before I moved to the Indy area I worked at a dog daycare facility. I worked with dogs individually and in group settings. I did some behavioral training with these dogs and my own! I can evaluate dog emotions and behaviors and work with owners on any concerns that they may have I currently work full time and I’m off Sundays and Wednesdays. I’m available most days after 2 pm and no later than 6:30 pm. Not available Sundays during the day due to church. My saying is that mental stimulation is better than physical. At my home I always leave soothing music on for my dogs and leave them a toy or treat to play with. It helps reduce anxiety and lets them have their calm time.

About: I grew up with labs and when I was in high school, my mom adopted cats. I adopted my own cats in January and November of 2023. Through my time on Rover and Wag!, I have experience with all sorts of dogs! My gallery consists of all of the animals I have cared for as well as my own pets:) I just started my master’s program at the University of Indianapolis and am in classes for roughly 12 hours/week between TWR. I am out of class no later than 4 pm. As of January 2026, I will be working MWF from 3-6 pm in Westfield. They were welcoming and knowledgeable about the best way to introduce him to the other let they were caring for. They sent updates which thrilled all of us, especially the kids, to see that he was being so well taken care of and loved while we were away. Milo seemed very comfortable and quickly made himself at home in theirs. It was a great experience and their care was very much appreciated. Can’t recommend them enough and rather than stress about who will keep our anxious pup while we are away I will be looking up Josh and Kate immediately. Thank you both for loving our big, sweet Milo!”

“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. Thanks again for a great stay!”
