Normally they are fine with a few check-ins from friends, but this time, one of our cats required a daily dose of oral liquid medicine. Our cat is not a fan of this medicine, but Heidi was amazing with him! Our cats loved her so much, and I would choose Heidi again in a heartbeat! She truly went above and beyond so that we were able to enjoy our vacation with no worries. She always managed to capture the most adorable photos of our boys! She's the best!”

About: During the pet-sitting visits, I can perform a variety of tasks, including: • Feeding the pets and changing their water bowls • Providing exercise and play time (may include walking the dog) • Cleaning litter boxes and cleaning up any other pet messes • Administering pet medications, if needed • Providing lots of TLC! I also often bring in mail or newspapers and alternate blinds and lights to give the home a “lived-in look” if the owners are away. I’m currently a college student. If it’s pre planed. I can make any time work. I am patient and very flexible. I have been around animals all of my life. I have taken care of pets with multiple personalities with medical issues and overly excited puppies. I am very grateful for this opportunity and I am very excited to watch your pet. I am responsible, kind, caring, and very vigilant. I will treat your pet the same way I treat mine with kindness, compassion, and a friend to them while you are away. Pet sitting” is defined as “the act of caring for a pet in its own home while the owner is away.” Dog walking is also a form of pet sitting since it involves coming to the pet’s home to provide exercise and companionship. While some pet sitters and dog walkers offer additional services, such as limited in-their-home boarding, these are separate services, and not considered "pet sitting." Caring for pets in the clients’ homes is what separates pet sitters from boarders or doggie daycares.

“Finn is a wonderful pet caregiver. I am her mom and while I grew up surrounded by pets, I didn't get my first dog as a family until 2014. Gus was the runt of 4 pups that were abandoned on a cold February morning. He is a chocolate lab mix and I brought him home the day we rescued them. Finn was 10 and they immediately bonded. She taught him tricks, helped keeping him fed and help me bathe him. Her bed was Gus' bed and as he grew there were time I would find him stretched out on her bed and Finn sleeping on the floor. He is quite the bed hog and she would give up on fighting over space 😂. Fast forward to today with to 2 more smaller dogs added and Finn is our go to petsitter if me and her dad go out of town. She also still helps me groom and bathe all 3.”
