“Shea was easy to communicate with and gave us updates on Cooper! Our dog actually went back in her house after we picked him up so that definitely shows he was a happy pup! Will definitely use her again when passing through Indianapolis!”

“Jessica and David took great care of Mocha. They communicated well, sent us lovely photos of our pooch during her stay, and treated her to a walk, car ride and pup cup. They are true dog people! Absolutely would book them again.”

“Paul was absolutely fantastic! He took such wonderful care of our dogs, making sure they had plenty of playtime outside in his nice big backyard. I appreciated the regular updates and pictures, which made me feel confident that they were happy and healthy. I can't recommend him highly enough.”

“Dayna was great with Panny and although it was not a great fit for our dog in particular ( she can be a little old and grumpy) I would highly recommend her skills and sweet personality!”

“Sailesh took wonderful care of our puppy while we went out of town! She was showered with love, care and companionship the entire time! Sailesh made sure to keep us updated with pictures and short notes while we were gone and it looked like Callie had the time of her life! We will definitely be closing Sailesh again when the need arises!”

“I can’t recommend her enough! She was so sweet and kept me updated the entire time with tons of pictures and messages. Cooper had an absolute blast at her house, especially playing with her dog. It made me feel so comfortable knowing he was in such good hands. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“We could not be happier with Tracy as our sitter. From start to finish, the experience was wonderful. We were away for a full week, and Tracy went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We received regular updates, photos, and videos, and every one of them showed just how happy and relaxed CC was. It was clear that Tracy truly cared and made the effort to help CC feel loved and at home. Knowing our dog was in such good hands gave us real peace of mind and honestly made our vacation even better. We would book with Tracy again in a heartbeat and recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive sitter.”

“Truly would give 10 stars! Amanda was awesome. This is the first time I’ve used this app and must admit I had my reservations about leaving our dog with a stranger. Our pup seemed comfortable and loved her entire stay. After this experience we will definitely be using the app and Amanda again!!”

“Bella is a repeat guest with Crystal, mostly because I know she lives as good or better than at home! The whole family loves on her and make sure she is well taken care of. Will definitely continue to book! KC”

“Heather was great. She and her family loved and took great care of Carver and Cedric! I appreciated the updates and how happy the guys were when we brought them home. Our pug (Cedric) drinks a lot of water and it was obvious they kept him well hydrated, which we really appreciated!!”

“Stacy was so wonderful to our 2 yard old Golden Doodle! Her house is a friendly place and the whole family loves dogs. Stacy sent us plenty of updates throughout the days she cared for Kaia in her home of both dogs playing, sleeping, and eating. Let Stacy be your dog’s home away from home!”
“It was our first time using Rover so we were a bit nervous but as soon as my dog and I met Jaime I knew my fur baby was in safe hands! Jaime and his family are so sweet and I received many pictures and videos of my dog Ali having a great time. Jaime was very good with my anxious pup.”

“Ash and her Husband, Mike, and their two beautiful children were a great match for our dog for the week we had to find boarding. They communicated very well. They were very sweet and truly loved our dog. It is always reassuring when the hosts love our dog just as much as we do! If I could give 10 stars I would. We are very grateful for them and will surely use their services again.”

“Very pleased with the communication and pictures and love that they gave Henry while they had him definitely makes it nice being able to travel without the worry if the dog is OK or not highly recommend we will definitely keep using them !”

“Addison took such wonderful care of our dog Lily, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Addison was incredibly attentive, kept us updated, followed all of Lily’s care instructions, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Lily came home happy, comfortable, and well cared for, which means everything to us. We would absolutely trust Addison with Lily again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and thoughtful pet sitter. Thank you Addison, for taking such great care of our little girl!”

“Gabrielle watched our 8 year old Goldendoodle for the first time and we are very happy. She was responsive to all my questions, and sent pictures every few days. When we picked her up she was calm and happy. Would absolutely recommend Gabrielle.”

About: I have had many dogs since I was a kid. As an adult, I have had 5 dogs over the years. They have always been adopted from a shelter or rescue group, plus one dog from an elderly friend. I have adopted 2 puppies and the others were several years old when they were adopted. I love their companionship. I walk our current dog as many days/week as possible. She is my travel buddy! I have crate-trained the puppies and provided as much love and care as possible for our senior dogs, including providing medication. My animals are my children and are very spoiled! I'm currently unemployed so available pretty much any time to care for animals. Once I find a full-time job, my schedule may change a bit but if my job is remote then I would have a lot of flexibility to care for the animals. I have a fairly large fenced yard for running and playing. Trees for observing the squirrels! There are 2 outside cats that do not really mind other dogs. My dog has done very well with other dogs as long as they are not aggressive or too big. I also live in a nice neighborhood where dogs can be walked, including a nice, wooded area with a great trail for walking. I also live close to Eagle Creek park where dogs could be walked.
“Jacklyn is fantastic! She is so sweet and truly cares about all of the pups she cares for. She sent regular updates with tons of pictures and even videos - which I really enjoyed. She has a huge fenced-in yard where my pup got to explore and play all throughout his stay. I highly recommend Jacklyn! I will definitely be booking again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Brownsburg
Amanda and her family are amazing as always! Unfortunately, we were gone during terrible storms, which cause great anxiety for our dog Cali. Amanda was so patient with Cali and helped to keep her as calm as possible. I always know Cali is in the BEST hands when she is with Amanda’s family❤️

They provided us with daily updates and Lola was having so much fun that we were jealous about not missing us...We will definitely use their services again!! A great lady should be celebrated, Kristen, I felt like she treated our dog like one of her own!! So grateful for her and her family! Thank you

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
