“Chris was amazing. Our little man had an amazing over nite stay. He was well taken care of and enjoyed playing with the others dogs there. Chris went a live to accommodate us after our regular sitter was unable to watch him. We will be using Chris many more times again.”
“Our dog had a little ‘vacation’ of her own at Sarah’s while we went on vacation. . .Sarah gave frequent photos and spoiled her to death, she’s the best!! Can’t wait to use her again!”

“Gabrielle watched our 8 year old Goldendoodle for the first time and we are very happy. She was responsive to all my questions, and sent pictures every few days. When we picked her up she was calm and happy. Would absolutely recommend Gabrielle.”

About: Hi! I’m Sailesh, a lifelong dog lover who grew up with two German Shepherds and now share my home with Theo, my Beagle, and Atlas, my Mini Goldendoodle puppy. Caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. From large breeds to puppies, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, and creating a safe environment where dogs feel comfortable and loved. I work mostly from home, allowing me to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, walks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My home has a fenced yard for supervised outdoor play, and I can accommodate your dog’s regular feeding, sleeping, and exercise routine. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, so I treat every dog like family and provide regular photo and video updates during their stay. My goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, happy, and at home while you’re away. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine since I have two dogs of my own, Theo (Beagle) and Atlas (Mini Goldendoodle puppy). I work from home, which allows me to be present throughout the day for frequent potty breaks, feeding, short walks, and playtime. My mornings usually start early with feeding and a quick walk, and I continue to check in with the dogs during breaks between work. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family in a calm, safe, and structured environment. I currently have two friendly dogs of my own, so I am used to maintaining routines and managing multiple dogs in the home. Since I work from home, I can provide consistent supervision throughout the day. Pets in my care would have regular potty breaks, feeding on their normal schedule, playtime, and rest periods. I also provide daily walks and supervised outdoor time in my fenced yard for safe exercise. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and comfort level, especially when introducing them to a new environment. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, medication, crate use, and routines to keep things consistent for the pet. I supervise outdoor time in my fenced yard for safe exercise.
“I absolutely loved Aricel. She was extremely sweet and accommodating to my older pup. She was very loving and Bootz took to her well. He even got to sleep in the bed with her which he seemed to love. She sent pictures and updates daily which I greatly appreciated. I was so pleased I've already booked her for another stay.”

“I always get so nervous and guilty leaving my dog behind when I am out of town but Odalys made it so easy. I got tons of pics and was very comfortable knowing my dog was in great hands. She is extremely professional and responsive. I definitely recommend.”

“Tamika provided exceptional care for our dog, Snowy, for about 10 days while we were away on a family trip to New York. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly experienced with pets. We appreciated her regular updates and the calm, caring environment she created. Snowy returned happy, healthy, and well looked after — we highly recommend her services.”

“Our 3 dogs used to dread when we would pull luggage out to go anywhere, because they knew they would be going to “doggy jail”. Now that we have used Destinee for the last year, they get excited! Our dogs are our life, and it speaks for itself that when we round the corner to her house they start squirming, ready to run inside to the toy bin or a puzzle. The photos we get have become one of our favorite things to anticipate when we are away and the communication is awesome. When I sprung on her we were at last minute adding a 4th to our pack, and was hoping to update our most recent booking she didn’t blink an eye and in fact checked in on us in the weeks prior, interested in knowing how he was integrating into our family. I cannot say enough good things about Destinee and her family, they hold a special place in my and my dogs hearts!”

“Janay and her family took such great care of our fur baby! I don't think she wanted to come home. I am so grateful we were able to relax on vacation knowing our baby was in good hands. Janey sent plenty of pics and remained in communication our whole stay”

“Fiona has been absolutely wonderful. I’m not exaggerating to say that she has been a godsend. Her expert care of our older, timid cat could not have been better. She demonstrated patience and kindness with our finicky cat, and she is truly a knowledgeable expert about animal behavior. I had sense of relief knowing our cat was being so well cared for.”

“Well, my puppy was very happy when we picked her up and exhausted, which is what I wanted. It was hard for me not being able to physically see where the dogs hang out but they have so many good reviews, and they sent me pictures which was awesome. And again my pup was very happy when I picked her up we’re gonna give it another try thanks again.”

“Hugo had another wonderful stay with Richard! Flexible drop off and pickup times, great communication with pictures and videos sent daily. Also love seeing Hugo’s report card on how he did during the visit. Thanks again Richard for the great care of Hugo!”

“Sharon was awesome, she took good care of my dogs and was really flexible when I had to adjust my schedule due to a missed flight. I definitely recommend her.”

“Mary is absolutely awesome! When Demi sees we have arrived for a stay, she goes crazy. She loves going for visits and gets upset when it's time to go home. Demi came home exhausted. :)”
“Rachel and Seth took great care of my dog and seemed to sincerely enjoy having him. Their communication with me was great and they were also accommodating of changes in my plans. Overall it was an excellent experience for me and Cal :)”

“I’ve booked with Paul multiple times, and he’s always patient, communicative, and really good with Ezra. Ezra comes back happy and relaxed every time and he loves having a little friend to play with over there. I appreciate the consistency and the great care, definitely recommend!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
