“Just absolutely fantastic! Emily was amazing with Benito right from the get-go. She provided constant pupdates and we could really tell that our pup was in great hands. She’s the best and we will always be back ♥️”

“Great sitters! We were in town visiting our new granddaughter and our two fur babies needed to be watched during the daytime. Sam and Rachel were so nice and flexible. We will call again on our future trips.”
“Tyler did a great job caring for our dog Ernie! He was kind, timely, and communicative. We are so appreciative he was able to accommodate our (sometimes particular) dog. I would recommend his services to anyone! Thank you Tyler :)”

“Tara was amazing with our Samson. He went on regular walks, was played with and was loved up. We got pics and videos everyday. She was so easy to communicate with! Would highly recommend Tara to dog sit for anyone! She is an extremely pleasant person.”

“I’ll be reaching out to Amanda again! She’s caring and takes great care of the pups. I got over a dozen photos over the course of a 24hr stay. Thanks Amanda, and ludo thanks you too!”

“We were so pleased to have Jane take care of our dog over the holidays. She provided daily photos, videos and updates. Milo was clearly happy in her care and we would definitely have him stay with her again!”

“Gwen and her family take the best care of Atlas! I love the photos of him relaxing on all the comfy dog beds, enjoying his outside time, and hanging out with their two teens and two dogs. I think Atlas might grow to like Gwen's home better than mine!”

“Shadow enjoyed his short one-night stay with Kristen and will be going back again next weekend! She was good about our request to help him with stairs since we had noticed one of his legs bothering him. Kristen was great with communication and pictures.”

“Scheduling with Kristen was a breeze! She was very accommodating and flexible with the pick up and drop off times. I was a little nervous with this being my first time ever boarding my dog but she made it very easy on me by providing periodic updates. The fact that she also has 2 bichons and that he had a blast definitely puts me in the returning customer category!”

“Melissa did a fantastic job with Chloe. She went above and beyond when my plans changed. Chloe was very well taken care of & we had no trouble resuming our normal schedule as soon as I returned after a 10 day trip. I received updates via text, photos & movies. I will be using her services again : )”

“Rachel and Seth were amazing! We have 2 American leopard hounds and they took such great care of them. Sent us pictures every day with a little message as to how they were doing. Made us feel very comfortable while we were on our vacation. The dogs I felt loved it there too. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to our family and friends.”

“Christina and her family took the best care of our dog! They made her feel like she was a part of their family! Christina also kept us updated with pics and messages! Thank you!”

About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life, from cats to dogs. Six years ago, I welcomed my dog, Oakley, and raising him showed me just how much I love dogs too. I’m patient, calm, and comfortable with all personalities—from playful pups to independent or shy cats. Over the past year, I’ve gained extra experience helping care for dogs through Rover. Your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and reliable care while you’re away. I work full-time (Mon–Fri, 9–5), so my availability is best for early mornings, evenings, and weekends. I offer drop-ins and walks outside of work hours, limited weekday daycare, and boarding for pets comfortable with a standard workday routine. I’m always happy to discuss schedules and special needs! My apartment community offers a secure, well-maintained dog park and multiple walking trails that my dog, Oakley, enjoys regularly. These provide great opportunities for safe exercise and enrichment. Indoors, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly space with plenty of toys and supervised playtime. I always prioritize safety, closely monitor interactions, and follow each pet’s individual routine and comfort level.
“Fiona was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Bambi! She was incredibly accommodating. She’s able to pick up and drop off Bambi on short notice, which made things so much easier for us. Throughout the stay, she kept us updated with sweet photos, and it was clear that Bambi was having a great time. Thank you, Fiona, for treating Bambi like your own. We’d definitely book with you again!”

Aricel did a wonderful job caring for my very aged dog. She was caring, kind, understanding, thoughtful, patient and she adapted to meet the needs of a dog with limited sight, limited hearing, limited mobility. Aricel also provided the right amount of communication and updates for me. Thank you so much for giving me peace of mind during my travels!!

Stephanie was fantastic with my two, rather large pitties. Being a first time Rover user and really a first time pet sitter user in general, I was very apprehensive to what felt like giving up my dogs to a stranger. But any apprehension I had quickly went away with Stephanie. She gave constant updates and sent pictures on a daily basis of my pups playing in her beautiful fenced in backyard. She clearly has a love for dogs and maybe a soft spot for pitties. I would recommend her to anyone.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
