About: Hi! My name is Lynette, and I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. One thing that makes me a great dog walker is that I love being active. I have a daily step goal that I work toward, so long walks are something I truly enjoy not something I rush through. Taking dogs on walks makes reaching that goal even more enjoyable, and I love giving them the exercise, attention, and outdoor time they deserve. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities and am always willing to adapt to their individual needs. Whether your dog enjoys a leisurely stroll, an energetic walk, or extra playtime, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and care. I would love the opportunity to spend time with your furry friend and make their walks the highlight of their day! I start every morning with a walk, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I enjoy staying active and have a daily step goal, which means I genuinely look forward to spending time walking and caring for dogs. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I can dedicate time throughout the week to ensure pets get the exercise, attention, and care they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully, maintain their normal routine, and make sure they have plenty of attention, exercise, water, and care. I am attentive on walks, keep dogs securely leashed, and always prioritize their well-being. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to create a positive, stress-free experience for both pets and owners.

About: I am a huge dog lover! My 7 year old lab/pit mix Conway is my rock and best friend. I care for all dogs like I care for Conway. I have had a dog all of my life, so I am very comfortable with pet care of all types. I am an experienced dog-walker as well and have cared for friends' and neighbors' pets for many years. Also, I am working on Conway's summer body and we are up to 3 mile walks a day. I am not saying that your dog needs all three miles but I am up for doing the long walks, if needed. I work from home every day. I have essentially wide open availability (minus some scattered meetings that will be scheduled ahead). I can care for your pet on any week day or weekend. Day or night. *Unfortunately, I do not have any pet care for my own dog. At this time, I will have to bring him with me for any house sitting opportunity. I am happy to set up any meet and greet.* I am caring and respectful of the owner's wishes. Having a dog of my own, I know how important it is for owners to ensure that they are leaving their fur babies home with somebody that cares and they trust. If an owner has specific directions of care, I will follow those to the T.

About: I’ve spent most of my life rescuing and transporting animals with mother via her company , especially cats and dogs, across America. From a young age, I’ve always had pets, and caring for them has been a central part of my life. My passion for animals is driven by my deep compassion and the desire to give every animal a better chance at life. Hello I'm Abigail I currently work part time fluctuating hours , that's why I asked for 3 days in the advice but I am available most times I'm available in the morning , evening , and overnight and Im off weekends at this point. Having animals most of my life, I'm every comfortable cleaning up after both cats and dogs. Also I'm very comfortable giving oral medicine to both. I love taking walks with dogs, also, I plan on investing in a cat stroller to take your feline friends with us!

About: I love spending time with animals! I grew up with dogs and have two cats of my own. I work remote full time so I can get away whenever. Wanting to start doing this as a hobby more than anything else! I work full time remotely so I can get away pretty easily during the weekdays (especially in Carmel) I can always work around weekend availability as well! I have drop in visits for cats and dogs before for friends and family. I can accommodate whatever is needed for safety and comfort in your home!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels for years! I love all dogs and am looking forward to getting to know yours. I even had a pet rabbit for years if you’re in need of a bunny sitter! I currently work full time, but am available for a 30 minute walk or drop in visit over my lunch break and/or when I leave from work! I really enjoy my daily walks and would love to take your sweet pup with me. I’m also available for house sitting! Safety, trust, and fun are my top priorities. I’ll make sure your dog gets the right balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and love—with updates and photos along the way.

About: I have taken care of many dogs in my life. I have 1 of my own that get the best care in the town. Many potty breaks, walks, play times, training, cuddles and much more! You won’t be disappointed! I am currently work from home Monday and Fridays and have the time to care for the fur friends. I can do daily walks, overnights, play times, check ins, you name it! I take very good attention to detail. I always have eyes on my dog and don’t let anything happen to them. I will always make them feel comfortable.

About: Rescued my 4lb pound yorkiepoo who is now 8 years old. Have 15years+ of experience watching friends and families animals. Some of mine and Louis’ furry friends include: Mars (a aussiedoodle), Morty (a morkie), Tilley and Georgie (our kitty cousins), kylo (a golden retriever), and more! 😄 can’t to make more along the way, excited for the opPAWtunity to help out your family. I work a full time (Monday - Friday) a full remote job so I’m home all day every day. I may pop out for a hour or 2 for errands the gym but that’s about it! I have a furry baby to keep yours company. I live in any apartment complex with an awesome, large fenced in dog park. And I take Louis (my dog) on walks frequently and live an active lifestyle with my dog at my side. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

About: I have been taking care of my family goldendoodle since my sixth birthday. He is my best friend and I love spending time with him. He gets along great with other dogs in our extended family and is extremely friendly with people. I have been trusted with several dogs and can assure you I will love on your dogs and keep them well taken care of! I’m looking into a part time nanny position but my hours are flexible currently. My weekends are guaranteed to be open for overnight or daytime care! I have a sweet 13 year old mini golden doodle who gets along great with all kinds of dogs. I am also able to provide care in your home if you’re uncomfortable with other dogs around yours. I love to go on walks on the trails around my house, play fetch in football fields, and go to dog parks nearby. You can rely on me to follow your dogs feeding/crate schedule as well as ensure they are getting exercise!

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and other exotic pets. I enjoy spending time and caring for animals, I try to keep them entertained or just relaxed. I often volunteer at IndyHumane with their dog day out program. I don’t have weekend availability due to my part time job. So throughout the week I have lots of time. I am available Monday afternoons through Thursdays. When caring for pets in a client’s home, the priority shifts to maintaining their established environment to reduce stress. This includes following precise instructions for feeding, administering medication, and adhering to their regular walking schedules, while providing plenty of companionship and updates to the owner.

About: Hi! I signed up for Rover because I love dogs and my daughter loves all animals and wants to be a vet when she grows up! My children are 4 and 6 and we are not ready to get a dog of our own but would love to spend time loving on others dogs until we are ready to make the leap ourself! I work from home and will be able to spend lots of time with your dog and my children will add in the playful side for some great exercise! I currently work from home and having young kids means we wake up early and have tons of flexibility for multiple walks and play time! Typical pet care for us means lots of rubs and talking while enjoying some cuddles and walks. We like to relax and have some fun at the same time.

“I am not sure where to even start Melanie is absolutely amazing. She didn’t meet and greet with my dog. It went great, but when I left and she had to do it all alone to walk my dog, he was very skeptical and was in defense mode. She was very patient with him and earned his trust, she went out her way to get to know Maverick. She updated pictures every day. She kept me updated. She even went above and beyond to give the guinea pig that I have water. I am very thankful for her and how patient she was with, not only my dog, but with me. She is very understanding and takes everything into consideration. I will make sure I always pick her in advance to watch Maverick. To see Maverick grow with her was absolutely amazing just shows her character. This was my first time ever leaving my dog alone without me and I did not know how bad his separation anxiety was until this situation but Melanie handled the situation with love and care as if Maverick was her own and that’s all I can ask for if I could give her 10 stars I would!!!!”

Whether you need someone to administer medicine or have someone play with your energetic one, I'm your sitter. I'm currently free for the most of the summer since I'm a teacher. I work part time on Saturdays at another job. I can look after your fluffy one during most days and times. I provide drop-in visits for your fluffy one. This can include walking, play time, feeding, medicine intake, potty break, clean ups, litter box cleaning, etc. My visits can range from 15 minutes to 1 hour - just depends on your fluffy one's needs.
