About: Since I was 14, I’ve been responsible for taking care of my own dogs and those of my neighbors, family, and friends. I come from a large dog family, from a Great Pyrenees to Labs and German Shepherds, but I’ve also been able to care for smaller dogs in my neighborhood. I’ve also cared for sensitive and reactive dogs who came from hard backgrounds, so I have experience taking it slow to build trust. I also care for cats as well, with experience from my own 13 year old orange cat and my mom’s two crazy kittens. Whether it’s taking them on walks, playing tug of war, giving them meds, or just keeping them company, I love any time I get to spend with fur babies. I’m preparing to leave for a scholarship in Poland at the end of September after graduating with my Master’s degree in May, so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am free most days and times with the exception of a few days with prior commitments throughout the summer. I strive to provide the best care with the utmost respect for you and your fur baby’s home. If there’s anything I should know about your pet’s care preferences or any neighborhood/environmental concerns, please let me know so that I may keep your pet safe at all times. I have experience with fenced in yards and open areas, as well as plenty of experience with flight risk dogs (those German Shepherds love to run!) and returning them safely home. My goal is to keep your pet and place safe and clean until you return home.
“She is the best. Even in the middle of my bad day knowing my puppy was being well taken care of by Jonna made my day! She even sent me adorable videos of my puppy. She is amazing! She should open her own business of taking care of dogs. Simply the best. Can’t say enough kind words. You will not regret booking her :)”

“Evan contacted me quickly once I put my search on Rover.com and he has been great at providing the dog-walking service. He prompted me to have a meet and greet so that he could meet my dog and find my house and then followed through on a Mon-Wed-Fri schedule of midday walks. He responded promptly to messages with changes and information about the walks and was always courteous and got-er-done. I would recommend him to others.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
