“Lauren did drop in visits every other day for my unruly cats. She did a great job cleaning up after them and visiting with them - when they came out of hiding. She also tried to help prevent further damage when they were scratching the carpet.”

“Elissa is absolutely amazing. She did such a great job with our animals. She treated them like her own. Like her own family. She sent me constant pictures and updates about how my animals were doing and helped me feel a lot better about the process. I felt safe knowing that our animals were in good hands while we were away. I would highly recommend her and I will definitely be hiring her again! Thank you, Elissa!”

“Bryn was absolutely wonderful with our two kitties Simon & Benny. This was our first experience with Rover and we will definitely be reaching out to Bryn again for any future needs. Our Simon boy has been experiencing some recent health issues and as a result needed meds administered morning and night. Bryn was able to help with this as well as feeding and playing with our cats. She was kind, communicative, and helpful. Great experience all around. Thanks again, Bryn!”

“Kristen stopped in to take care of our dog for us during the day! I loved all the pictures she shared and the updates/questions she had during the time she was with him. I will definitely be asking Kristen for help again 😊”

“Katie gave us peace of mind while we were on vacation out of the country. She took great care of our kitties and had wonderful communication with daily updates and progress check ins. We will definitely be using her again for all our pet setting needs.”

“Kara was amazing with my two huskies! They seemed to really take to her, and she sent daily pictures of them along with narrative updates. I would definitely rebook with Kara again!”

“Evan communicates very well and kept us informed on Birdie. Making sure she was taken care of while we were gone. Will definitely reach out to Evan to rebook for future drops ins! Thank you, again!”

“I have never come across a pet sitter that is more caring and more conscientious than Amanda ! She treats our dogs as if they are her own and goes above and beyond what is expected! She is very honest and extremely diligent about her job. Also a very vivacious, outgoing personality. I can’t imagine anyone better!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10. I love dogs and cats both and have 2 Australian Shepards of my own. Would love to help care for your furry family members. I am open Fridays and most weekend days. I am able to stop in to let out or walk your pet after 5:30 during the week as well. I personally have a fenced backyard and have two crate trained dogs so I am familiar with the process and always strive to keep pets safe.
“Meghan was amazing! She was a great communicator and very professional. Our cat who usually hides the whole time we leave actually came out for her almost every time and let her pet her bc (very unusual for our cat). Meghan was always on time and even helped bring in packages that were outside. She was respectful, clean, and attentive. I strongly recommend!!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child. I love dogs and cats alike. I don’t prefer one to the other and have two cats and a dog of my own. I’m just patient with animals and experienced in following the directions of parents. I like your animals to feel their routine is the same as when their owner is home. I am currently working part time from home, so I have a lot of flexibility with my days to come and take care of animals. We have had dogs stay in our home with us. Our animals are extremely accepting of other dogs and we love to host them. I also have no problem providing care in the owners home. I’m here to meet your preference.
“Danielle was so awesome with my poodle. She was very understanding of his separation anxiety (and my anxiety with leaving him). She sent lots of updates, and it was great to see how happy my pup was with her. I’m sure Truffle is excited to see her again!”

About: I’ve always loved being around animals ever since I completed two 8-day dog sledding expeditions in Michigan. I have experience caring for pets for friends, family, and neighbors. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, and making sure pets feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’m patient, attentive, and always make sure to follow each pet’s routine closely. I always send updates and especially lots of photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is smiling, happy and in good hands! I’m available full-time, 7 days a week, including last-minute bookings! I can work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I’m happy to tailor my schedule to meet your pet’s needs. Whether it’s daily visits, extended stays, or flexible drop-ins, I’ll ensure your pet gets consistent care, attention, and playtime. I’m experienced with managing multiple animals, including my cat Yoda and my roommate’s dog Bowdie, so I know how to keep everyone happy, comfortable, and stress-free. I provide care in your pet’s home, keeping their routine consistent and stress-free. I handle feeding, litter boxes or walks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of attention, making sure your cat or dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.
Hortonville cat parents share their Rover experiences
Laura was very helpful taking care of my cat while I was away. During both visits she took care of the litter box and filled all food and water. She stayed and hung out with him providing him lots of cuddles! The pictures after were very helpful and appreciated to make sure he was doing great. Will definitely book with her again!

Madelyn was great with my animals! I booked last minute, right before Christmas. She was quick to reply and was able to do a meet-and-greet with my pets within 24 hours. She was timely and sent pictures of all of the animals. I will definitely be booking with Madelyn again!
