About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover who has grown up around dogs my entire life. I currently have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks at my family home that each weigh over 120 pounds, so I'm very comfortable handling large, energetic breeds as well as dogs of all sizes. I've always enjoyed spending time with animals, whether that's going on walks, playing outside, or simply giving them plenty of attention and companionship (I love to cuddle with dogs). I'm reliable, communicative, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members! Pet care fits easily into my schedule because I work remotely and have a very flexible work routine. I'm available for morning, afternoon, evening walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting, allowing me to provide dependable care whenever it's needed. I always follow each pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and safe. Whether I'm in your home or caring for your pet during a walk or drop-in visit, I'll make sure they have plenty of attention, exercise, fresh food and water, and lots of love. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages if you want so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Deming
Elissa is the best! Outstanding job!! We found Elissa to be very friendly, thorough, and thoughtful, and she provided amazing care for our cats. Our daily proof of life pictures were fun to see, and our home looked as if we had never left it. In fact, Elissa is a wonderful addition to our pet care providers. We are so happy we chose her to watch over our precious fur babies and can’t wait to travel, again! Thank you, Elissa.

Morgan is very conscientious about being at the house on time and checking things in the house we asked her to look at. She tries to find our skittish kitty, but lets me know the food is eaten. Morgan obviously enjoys helping families take care of their fur-babies!

Morgan did such a great job taking care of Job! He is a scaredy cat and takes a couple of days to adjust to being 'abandoned' by his family, but Morgan was patient and dealt with the nervous puking like a pro. :-) Soon enough, Job settled down and remembered that Morgan was an old friend! He was a super happy guy and loved his cuddle time with her!!

Elissa is absolutely amazing. She did such a great job with our animals. She treated them like her own. Like her own family. She sent me constant pictures and updates about how my animals were doing and helped me feel a lot better about the process. I felt safe knowing that our animals were in good hands while we were away. I would highly recommend her and I will definitely be hiring her again! Thank you, Elissa!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Deming. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
