“Lauren volunteered to come meet Vito before we hired her. I really appreciated that! I felt very confident with Vito being in her care while we were out for the night. I would definitely recommend Lauren!”

“Elissa is the best! Outstanding job!! We found Elissa to be very friendly, thorough, and thoughtful, and she provided amazing care for our cats. Our daily proof of life pictures were fun to see, and our home looked as if we had never left it. In fact, Elissa is a wonderful addition to our pet care providers. We are so happy we chose her to watch over our precious fur babies and can’t wait to travel, again! Thank you, Elissa.”

“Jan is great. This was my second time using her. She is really nice, responds quickly, and I can tell by the pictures she sends that she actually spends time playing with my cat.”

“Kara was amazing with my two huskies! They seemed to really take to her, and she sent daily pictures of them along with narrative updates. I would definitely rebook with Kara again!”

“Kristen was fantastic. We were in NC during Helene and didn't have to worry about our girl at all. She went above and beyond to make sure our kitty was ok, along with our home. We will be booking her again as early as next month. I highly recommend her to take care of your loved pets. She is simply wonderful 😊”

“Amanda took amazing care of our cat, and went above and beyond in communicating and sending updates. Truly anyone would be lucky to leave their pet in her care. She was detailed oriented and punctual. We will absolutely book her services again soon!”

About: Since I was 14, I’ve been responsible for taking care of my own dogs and those of my neighbors, family, and friends. I come from a large dog family, from a Great Pyrenees to Labs and German Shepherds, but I’ve also been able to care for smaller dogs in my neighborhood. I’ve also cared for sensitive and reactive dogs who came from hard backgrounds, so I have experience taking it slow to build trust. I also care for cats as well, with experience from my own 13 year old orange cat and my mom’s two crazy kittens. Whether it’s taking them on walks, playing tug of war, giving them meds, or just keeping them company, I love any time I get to spend with fur babies. I’m preparing to leave for a scholarship in Poland at the end of September after graduating with my Master’s degree in May, so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am free most days and times with the exception of a few days with prior commitments throughout the summer. I strive to provide the best care with the utmost respect for you and your fur baby’s home. If there’s anything I should know about your pet’s care preferences or any neighborhood/environmental concerns, please let me know so that I may keep your pet safe at all times. I have experience with fenced in yards and open areas, as well as plenty of experience with flight risk dogs (those German Shepherds love to run!) and returning them safely home. My goal is to keep your pet and place safe and clean until you return home.
About: If you are looking for a loving environment for your small dog I am it. I have two very spoiled wonderful little fluffs and would be happy to help with your dog. I have also worked PT for a pet sitting company 5 years. I am a teaching assistant and I have free time in the afternoons to help with your pets. I am also available on weekends. In the summer I have open availability. I would love to meet with you to go over your needs first whether it be walking, yard play, feeding. Clean up and feedback on your pets day.
“Danielle comes twice a week and two times each of those days to take our dogs out. She is conscientious about documenting their time together and making sure they get exercise. Highly recommend.”

“Meghan was amazing! She was a great communicator and very professional. Our cat who usually hides the whole time we leave actually came out for her almost every time and let her pet her bc (very unusual for our cat). Meghan was always on time and even helped bring in packages that were outside. She was respectful, clean, and attentive. I strongly recommend!!”

“This was my first time ever leaving my cat overnight let alone for several days. Katherine made it so easy. I felt completely relaxed on my vacation knowing he was in such good hands . The daily pics and updates made me at ease! I will definitely rebook should I need another sitter.”

“Lauran took great care of my 2 kitties while I was out of town for a week! This was my first time hiring a kitty sitter who wasn't a friend or family member, but I decided to do so because one of my cats needs daily medication, and I wanted to have someone who has had experience giving meds. Lauran came up in my search and was near me, and seemed like a good fit! Before I left, we set up a time to meet at my home so we could talk in person and she could meet my kitties. While I was gone, I really appreciated her daily reports and photos. She made sure my older kitty got her meds and ate all her food (kitty gets a pill crushed up in her food each day), and although my younger kitty was too shy to come out and see her, she really tried her best to coax him out of his hiding place! Overall, Lauran was friendly, courteous, and professional, and I'd definitely recommend her as a kitty sitter!”

Madelyn was great with my animals! I booked last minute, right before Christmas. She was quick to reply and was able to do a meet-and-greet with my pets within 24 hours. She was timely and sent pictures of all of the animals. I will definitely be booking with Madelyn again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,280 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Lamong. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lamong. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
