🐾 Pet care is now my full-time focus! I’ve been pet sitting professionally for the past four years while working remotely, and I’ve recently opened my schedule to focus on pet care full time. This gives me much more flexibility for daytime drop ins, last minute requests, and overnight stays.

I treat every home with the same care and respect I would expect someone to treat my own. I make sure to follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any house rules you’ve established. Safety is always my top priority. I double check doors, gates, collars, harnesses, and fresh water at every visit. (Including making sure escape artists don’t dart outside.) 📸 I also believe communication is incredibly important, so you’ll receive plenty of updates and photos while you’re away. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for.

❤️ I love getting to know each pet before our first visit! I grew up with a Giant Schnauzer and a Doberman, so I’m very comfortable with larger breeds in addition to small and medium-sized dogs. Before each booking, I’d love to know about their feeding schedule, any medications, favorite toys, sleeping arrangements, any behavioral issues, etc. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make your pet feel comfortable and keep their routine as normal as possible.
A typical day
Every pet has their own personality, so I tailor each visit to their needs and energy level. Whether that’s: 🐕 Long walks 🎾 Fetch 🦴 Tug of war 🧩 Enrichment games 🛋️ Snuggles on the couch 💤 Quiet companionship for senior pets I’m happy to make their day fun and stress free! For cats, I’m just as happy playing with their favorite toys, brushing them (if they enjoy it!), or simply keeping them company and sticking to their normal routine.

Whether I’m caring for an energetic puppy, a senior dog, a shy cat, or a pet with a detailed routine, I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family. I believe every pet deserves individualized care, patience, and plenty of love while you’re away. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and attentive, and I always make sure you receive plenty of updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands.

Lauran has become not only a critical part of our care team for our sweet baby, but also an extended part of our family. Our senior dog has needed an increasing level of care and support, and Lauran has been reliable in her willingness to support in whatever way will help our baby and ourselves as the owner/family. We trust her as a surrogate pet parent for us (which says a great deal) in that she is organized and time-conscious to keep medication management and feeding on course as well as attentive to our pet and communicative with us as well as our vet to ensure that we are all in the loop together for best care and decision making. Lauran goes over and above to ensure the care and safety of our sweet angel and allows us to know that she is in the best care possible when we are not there. This is the first person we have had stay in our home when we are away and that is also a huge step for us--with Lauran, she makes it easy--we would not be able to be away without her.
