About: Since I was 14, I’ve been responsible for taking care of my own dogs and those of my neighbors, family, and friends. I come from a large dog family, from a Great Pyrenees to Labs and German Shepherds, but I’ve also been able to care for smaller dogs in my neighborhood. About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. About: Animals have always been my primary passion. Growing up on a farm surrounded by cows, chickens, and a variety of dogs—from energetic Boxers and Labradors to gentle Golden Retrievers, I learned early on that every animal has a unique personality and specific needs. Over the last 15 years, I have cared for a wide range of dogs and cats, gaining extensive experience that spans the entire life cycle of a pet. This work is deeply personal to me, as I recently said goodbye to my own beloved Boxer who lived to be 13 years old. Navigating those senior years gave me firsthand expertise in providing mobility assistance, a gentle touch, and precise medication administration. Beyond senior care, I am highly proficient in puppy care—focusing on consistent training reinforcement and managing high energy, and I am comfortable with all temperaments, from "velcro dogs" who thrive on constant attention to more independent or cautious rescues. I am available full-time with a completely open and flexible schedule, which means your pet will be my primary focus throughout the day. Whether you need a mid-day walk, a last-minute drop-in, or around-the-clock companionship for your pet, I can easily accommodate your needs. Because I am 'open whenever,' I can stick strictly to your pet's specific feeding and exercise routine without any time conflicts. Safety is my absolute priority. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do a thorough walkthrough to ensure everything is secure and follow all house rules strictly. I am very experienced in managing different leash temperaments on walks to keep dogs safe from traffic or other animals. I provide frequent photo updates and clear communication so you can have total peace of mind knowing your pet is in expert, loving hands. My home is currently a calm, pet-free environment, which is ideal for dogs who prefer to be the 'only child' or need a quiet space to relax.

About: Hi! I have taken care of and owned dogs/cats and all kinds of animals since I was 8 years old. I am so passionate about taking care of and spending time with pets! I have veterinary experience as an assistant, where I have experience in general animal care, well-being, and administering different medications. I graduated from Purdue in May 2025 with an animal science degree. I also have senior and puppy experience (basic training). I am confident I can provide great and loving care for your animals. I am currently working full-time four days a week (Sun-Wednesday), but have complete availability Thursday through Saturday. I am also available on weeknights on the days that I am working. After one bad experience leaving her, we were nervous to go away again. About: As someone who has worked with a countless amount of dogs and cats, I understand that every pet is different. I am a registered vet tech with the love for animals. I work at a small animal vet with a specialty in dogs and cats. I am experienced in administering medications of all types (oral, injectables, transdermal) and am proficient in identifying symptoms of illness. While your pet is under my care, I prioritize making sure they have fresh, clean water, clean environment, exercise, and food as needed. With my experience as a registered vet tech, I understand how each pets needs are different. I currently don’t have any pets of my own so your dog would be my sole focus. I can accommodate any feeding schedule and can accommodate any medications. Your pet will be taken out on a leash for potty breaks and won’t be left unmonitored while outside.
