About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. My partner and I both work from home and we have two dogs of our own, so pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I have 2 friendly, crate trained dogs who get walks 2-3 times/day. Growing up, I regularly babysat and cared for my neighbors' dogs whenever they were away, which taught me how important it is to provide dependable, loving care while owners are gone. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I always do my best to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Whether you need someone to walk your dog, stop by for drop-in visits, or house sit while you're away, I'll treat your house and pets like they're my own. About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was always the one bringing home strays, and apparently, I never outgrew that animal-loving gene! My daughter and I used to enjoy caring for pets through Rover together when she was younger. Now that she’s off to college, I suddenly have a much quieter house and a lot more free time than I’m used to. I thought returning to Rover would be the perfect way to fill some of that empty-nest space with something I truly love: spending time with animals and giving them plenty of attention, affection, and care. I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy, dependable, and caring looking after your pet while you're away. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is being treated with the same love and attention I would want for my own. I currently work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to spend with your pet. Whether they enjoy long walks, playing, relaxing together, or curling up for some extra snuggles, I'm happy to give them the companionship they need. I love taking long walks, have plenty of patience, and, most importantly, I have lots of love and snuggles to go around! ❤️🐶🐱 I would love the opportunity to become one of your pet's favorite people while you're away!
