I’m comfortable working with animals of any age or size and always give them the love and attention they deserve.” I’m part time as of now but my part time job is quite flexible. I am home in the mornings and leaving later in the day for work. We have a fenced yard that’s designated strictly for potty breaks. Our larger yard is not gated, but our current dog is trained to stay within its boundaries using an invisible fence. Additionally, we have a separate gated area in the laundry room for secure indoor containment when needed.

About: I've been a dog walker at the Humane Society for Hamilton County for almost 5 years (over 1900 hours). Along with owning and fostering my own dogs, this has given me tons of experience handling dogs of all different breeds, sizes, ages, and with various behavioral needs. I only use positive reinforcement methods and am Fear Free Shelters certified. I have attended many trainings on animal behavior and handling. I also transport dogs, handle dogs at events, and am a closer for the shelter, meaning I am responsible for closing down and locking up the shelter on certain nights. I have experience with all kinds of dogs, from my work as an assistant dog groomer and in my 6 years of dog sitting. Services offered: willing to stay at the house or visit regularly (up to client’s preference), walk and play with dogs/uphold the animals routine, collect mail and packages, water plants, take trash cans out as needed, text pictures of your pets. The yard is a good size for any size dog and the neighborhood couldn't be nore perfect. Not fenced however so there would be a leash that we would implement for that.

Throughout my education in becoming a therapist I strive to treat every person, and animal, with compassion and patience. My own cat has been on medication for several years, so I’m comfortable caring for aging pets or those who need more attention. I currently am a full-time student, so when I’m not in class I am at home. This provides a relatively free schedule that shifts with every semester. For the Fall I am free all day Tuesday and Fridays and every weekend, and the afternoons Wednesday and Thursday. The first thing is to listen to the pets, how they communicate, and what makes them feel most comfortable.
