“Dara was super sweet from beginning to end. I really felt that she genuinely cared and wanted to get to know my cats. About: I own four rescue dogs, three of which are small and one of which is medium. I am currently fostering a cat and an elderly dog. All of my animals will be in their crates if you book me for boarding. I’m currently free 24/7 so I’ll have plenty of time to entertain your pets. Although come August I will be back in collage and I’ll only be able to mornings and nights. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of space to play and currently five small/medium sized dogs that are very friendly for your pet to play with.

I helped raise and train my family’s Yorkie from a puppy, and I currently help care for and train a pitbull mix, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. As a newly graduated PA with experience working in a nursing homes and clinical settings, I’m very attentive, patient, and dependable. I also volunteer in a preschool classroom and teach dance to young girls, which has strengthened my ability to be responsible, nurturing, and engaging. Taking care of others, whether people or pets, comes naturally to me, and I treat every dog like they’re my own. I am in between finishing PA school at Butler and finding a job as a PA, so this summer I will have a lot of free time during the days! “Kristie was amazing! This was our first time leaving our cat overnight and Kristie sent lots of updates and made sure our kittie got lots of love. About: I have had dogs and cats virtually my whole life. I am very experienced in feeding, giving pills, taking pets outside, etc. I have worked at Fishers Veterinary Hospital for a little under a year now as part of the patient care team. I am heading off to IU in the fall to major in Biology with a Pre-Vet track. I would love to help care for your pets! I currently work part-time at a veterinary hospital and receive my schedule a month in advance. Because of this, I can usually plan ahead and provide reliable availability. Feel free to reach out with your dates, and I’ll be happy to let you know if I’m available! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Through my experience working at a veterinary hospital, I have learned how to recognize signs of stress, illness, or discomfort and how to handle animals calmly and safely. I will carefully follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions and provide updates so you can feel confident while you’re away. I treat every pet with patience, compassion, and the same level of care I would want for my own pets.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my 10 years of hands-on experience caring for my own Chihuahua, a small, energetic little brown bean with a shiny coat. Through the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of small dog care, from daily morning and evening walks to preparing soft meals tailored to her needs. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to providing pets with personalized care, whether it’s ensuring they get the right nutrition, sticking to their routine, or simply giving them plenty of love and attention. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I strive to make them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I work hybrid from home, which allows me to provide attentive care for pets. I'm available for boarding, house sitting, and check-ins from Thursday to Sunday. Additionally, I offer check-ins and house sitting on Monday to Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. I live in an apartment, but my complex is surrounded by beautiful trees and open space, perfect for walking and running around. There’s always something fun to do outside, whether it’s exploring nature or playing in safe, pet-friendly areas. Inside, I ensure a comfortable and secure environment, keeping toxic foods and hazardous items out of reach.

Cassie took such great care of our Golden Retriever and our cat while we were away, and we couldn't be happier! She kept us updated with plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were happy and well cared for. It was clear they were getting lots of love and attention while we were gone. We're so grateful for everything she did and will absolutely be booking with her again.

Claire was amazing with our two cats while we were away! One of our cats needed daily ear medication, and she handled it without any issues. She also watered our plants, sent lots of photos and updates, and really gave us peace of mind while we were gone. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for cats. We'd definitely book with her again and highly recommend her!

We couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter! Amanda took such wonderful care of our fur babies. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in great hands, especially with her detailed updates and sweet photos. She is a true animal lover and went above and beyond to ensure our kitties were loved while we were gone!

Thank you Dara for being so particular with my 2 cats, thinking ahead on things that could be issues, and taking such good care of them w/all their detailed notes. I was so comfortable knowing you were in charge while I was away...and my kitties did well with you. Thank you.
Jonna was an amazing cat carer. She was very patient with my cat. Jonna was also responsive to Penelope (my cat)when she was vocal. Jonna even got my cat to play with her. Jonna was very easy to communicate with and so good with Penelope. I am so relieved to and will look to book with Jonna next time I have to travel.

Meredith was awesome once again! We have a diabetic cat that requires insulin shots twice a day and it was such a relief to know Prim was taken care of and to get pictures and updates. Our other cat Mosby also requires a lot of attention and she went above and beyond. I can't recommend her enough. Thank you again Meredith! 🐾🩷

Mary is awesome. Have been using her for 5 years for drop ins while we are on vaca. She goes over and above each time. Bringing in packages and breaking icicles that are hanging off gutters so no one gets hurt. The cats are well fed and hydrated along with having clean litter. I highly recommend Mary!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fishers. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
