About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my 10 years of hands-on experience caring for my own Chihuahua, a small, energetic little brown bean with a shiny coat. Through the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of small dog care, from daily morning and evening walks to preparing soft meals tailored to her needs. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to providing pets with personalized care, whether it’s ensuring they get the right nutrition, sticking to their routine, or simply giving them plenty of love and attention. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I strive to make them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I work hybrid from home, which allows me to provide attentive care for pets. I'm available for boarding, house sitting, and check-ins from Thursday to Sunday. Additionally, I offer check-ins and house sitting on Monday to Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. I live in an apartment, but my complex is surrounded by beautiful trees and open space, perfect for walking and running around. There’s always something fun to do outside, whether it’s exploring nature or playing in safe, pet-friendly areas. Inside, I ensure a comfortable and secure environment, keeping toxic foods and hazardous items out of reach.
About: I have had dogs and cats for years. My friends say the animals I adopt have won the lottery. I feel quite the opposite. I am good with cats, puppies, and senior dogs. Comfortable giving meds and shots. I work part-time during the school year and home all summer and during the holidays. I am flexible during the day and evening for your pet needs I am very dependable, patient, kind and trustworthy. I have had many animals and take exceptional care of any/all animals that have been in my home.
“Sandy is awesome! She’s very dependable and loves watching my fur babies. I have used her twice now and she will be the one I use going forward. So glad I found her :-)”

“Lauren was an amazing cat sitter. We left my cat, sova, for 10 days to elope + honey moon. I was so anxious because I’ve never left him for such a long extended time period. Lauren came over for a meet and greet. Sova loved her off the bat. She was a great communicator, sent live updates, and took tons of pics. Will 100% be re-booking.”

“Dara is my go to for my cat babies. She's always willing to hear out anything special needed, and goes above and beyond to help. I would recommend her to anyone who wants someone to actually care about their fur babies, and have that peace of mind.”

About: I own four rescue dogs, three of which are small and one of which is medium. I am currently fostering a cat and an elderly dog. All of my animals will be in their crates if you book me for boarding. I’m currently free 24/7 so I’ll have plenty of time to entertain your pets. Although come August I will be back in collage and I’ll only be able to mornings and nights. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of space to play and currently five small/medium sized dogs that are very friendly for your pet to play with.
“Kristie was amazing! This was our first time leaving our cat overnight and Kristie sent lots of updates and made sure our kittie got lots of love. She was very communicative and went above and beyond what we asked. We will happily connect with Kristie the next time we go out of town knowing our pet will be in great, loving hands 😻”

“I had some late work nights and Jonna was great at stopping by to provide care for Colt. She really went above and beyond with what was expected! I know Colt really likes her and was even winning for her when she left!”

“Jazelina was wonderful with our cat, Scout, who can be suspicious of strangers and a bit of a handful. Jazelina provided excellent care and peace of mind while we were traveling for the holidays, and we would definitely hire her again!”

“Amy has been a punctual and reliable Rover for us 3+ days/week over the course of the last 4 months. She’s flexible and extremely responsive and communicative. We look forward to booking her again!”

“Mykaela was friendly and personable right from the start. She responded quickly to message and stayed in communication throughout the weekend. And she wasn’t scared off by my quirky dog during the meet and greet who can be a jerk. She did a wonderful job of ensuring my anxious pup was as much at ease as she could be during her drop in visits. She used all the tricks I gave her and was good about letting me know exactly how the visits went. I would definitely use Mykaela again and highly recommend her to anyone needing care for their pet.”

About: I am a college prof on summer break, and looking to help out with furry friends in the Fishers/Carmel area! I grew up with dogs, cats, finches, bunnies, and a lone hamster, and now have one sweet border collie who usually goes to work with my partner during the day. Would love to chat about your dog walking or pet/plant sitting needs! I’m a college theatre professor and only working a few days a week for a summer theatre camp in Carmel! Looking to help out in my Fishers neighborhood for the summer and over school breaks. I can come to your home and will make sure to read (and follow!) any instructions you leave. My dog is friendly to other animals if you need care in my home, but I would prefer to help out in your pet’s normal environment if possible.
About: I’ve loved cats for as long as I can remember. I’ve had cats since I was 5 years old, and they’ve always been an important part of my life. I grew up playing with them, sleeping next to them, and caring for them every day. Being around cats brings me so much joy, and I understand how to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I will care for your cat as if they were my own. Cats are part of my daily life. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, I’m home most of the time, so I can give them plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles. During the week, I’m available from 5 PM until the next morning, and I love spending my evenings relaxing with cats by my side. In my routine, cats are never alone—they are always with me, receiving love and care. Having a dog should not be a probleem :) When caring for cats and dogs in my home or in a client’s home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow their feeding schedule, keep their litter box clean, afternoon walks, play with them, give them plenty of attention and affection, and respect their personality and routine. I enjoy spending quality time with cats, whether they want to play, cuddle, or simply relax nearby.Trust me i will not fail:)

“Kimberly was amazing! Such a stress free vacation knowing that she was taking care of our boys! She even went over and above and went over in the evening when we had had a terrible storm and one of our cats is terribly afraid of them...I can't recommend her more and will definitely be using her again!...Thank you Kimberly for loving our little guys!!”

About: Hi there! Our home has changed a bit since our profile was last active — but our love for dogs hasn’t gone anywhere. Our sweet Bichons, Paco and Dori, have since crossed the rainbow bridge. We miss having dogs in our home every day, and we’re excited to open our space again to care for your fur baby while you’re away. I’m an experienced dog sitter and lifelong dog lover. My children (now 11 and 9) grew up with our dogs and are gentle, respectful, and incredibly loving with animals. We also have cats, so your dog should be comfortable around feline friends. What your pup can expect: - A calm, structured, dog-loving home - A large fenced backyard for supervised play - Plenty of tennis balls and snuggles - Consistent routines and clear communication with you - Updates and photos while you’re away I love learning each dog’s personality - their quirks, preferences, routines, and comfort needs - so I can make their stay feel as close to home as possible. A Few Important Notes: - We welcome small dogs (20 lbs and under). - Dogs must be comfortable around children and cats. - No large-breed puppies, even if they meet the weight requirement. If you’re looking for a warm, attentive home where your dog will be treated like family, I’d love to connect and see if we’re a great fit. Message me anytime with questions! Pet care fits seamlessly into our daily rhythm. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so dogs receive consistent supervision, morning and evening walks, backyard playtime, and plenty of structured attention throughout the day. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine to reduce stress - feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications, and sleep habits. In my home, they’re treated like family with structure, supervision, and lots of affection.

Claire was amazing with our two cats while we were away! One of our cats needed daily ear medication, and she handled it without any issues. She also watered our plants, sent lots of photos and updates, and really gave us peace of mind while we were gone. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for cats. We'd definitely book with her again and highly recommend her!

Jonna was an amazing cat carer. She was very patient with my cat. Jonna was also responsive to Penelope (my cat)when she was vocal. Jonna even got my cat to play with her. Jonna was very easy to communicate with and so good with Penelope. I am so relieved to and will look to book with Jonna next time I have to travel.

Mary is awesome. Have been using her for 5 years for drop ins while we are on vaca. She goes over and above each time. Bringing in packages and breaking icicles that are hanging off gutters so no one gets hurt. The cats are well fed and hydrated along with having clean litter. I highly recommend Mary!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fishers. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
