About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my 10 years of hands-on experience caring for my own Chihuahua, a small, energetic little brown bean with a shiny coat. Through the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of small dog care, from daily morning and evening walks to preparing soft meals tailored to her needs. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to providing pets with personalized care, whether it’s ensuring they get the right nutrition, sticking to their routine, or simply giving them plenty of love and attention. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I strive to make them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I work hybrid from home, which allows me to provide attentive care for pets. I'm available for boarding, house sitting, and check-ins from Thursday to Sunday. Additionally, I offer check-ins and house sitting on Monday to Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. I live in an apartment, but my complex is surrounded by beautiful trees and open space, perfect for walking and running around. There’s always something fun to do outside, whether it’s exploring nature or playing in safe, pet-friendly areas. Inside, I ensure a comfortable and secure environment, keeping toxic foods and hazardous items out of reach.

About: I own four rescue dogs, three of which are small and one of which is medium. I am currently fostering a cat and an elderly dog. All of my animals will be in their crates if you book me for boarding. I’m currently free 24/7 so I’ll have plenty of time to entertain your pets. Although come August I will be back in collage and I’ll only be able to mornings and nights. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of space to play and currently five small/medium sized dogs that are very friendly for your pet to play with.
“Excellent!! Lauren provided great care for Milo. She was professional, reliable, and very loving towards my pet. She also provided detailed information and pictures from her visits which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!”

“This was my second time using Leslie. She is amazing with my 4 kitties and they are always less stressed when I come home after “mommy” being away. I appreciated Leslie’s attention to detail, the attention they get from her and how she captures my cats personalities in the photos. Highly recommended to anyone looking!!!”
About: I have had dogs and cats for years. My friends say the animals I adopt have won the lottery. I feel quite the opposite. I am good with cats, puppies, and senior dogs. Comfortable giving meds and shots. I work part-time during the school year and home all summer and during the holidays. I am flexible during the day and evening for your pet needs I am very dependable, patient, kind and trustworthy. I have had many animals and take exceptional care of any/all animals that have been in my home.

About: I've been a dog walker at the Humane Society for Hamilton County for almost 5 years (over 1900 hours). Along with owning and fostering my own dogs, this has given me tons of experience handling dogs of all different breeds, sizes, ages, and with various behavioral needs. I only use positive reinforcement methods and am Fear Free Shelters certified. I have attended many trainings on animal behavior and handling. I also transport dogs, handle dogs at events, and am a closer for the shelter, meaning I am responsible for closing down and locking up the shelter on certain nights. I have a huge heart for dogs, and I would love to meet yours and help them get the exercise and mental stimulation they need. I work a hybrid schedule. I am home three days a week to check on and care for your fur baby. I adjust the care I give based on the animal, so if your dog needs more walks or your cat needs space, I will modify my routine to make sure they're happy. I want your pet to feel comfortable and safe at all times. Whether on a walk or in the home, I strive to ensure all of their needs are met. I love getting to know new animals and figuring out what makes them feel safe, happy, and loved.

About: Hi there! Our home has changed a bit since our profile was last active — but our love for dogs hasn’t gone anywhere. Our sweet Bichons, Paco and Dori, have since crossed the rainbow bridge. We miss having dogs in our home every day, and we’re excited to open our space again to care for your fur baby while you’re away. I’m an experienced dog sitter and lifelong dog lover. My children (now 11 and 9) grew up with our dogs and are gentle, respectful, and incredibly loving with animals. We also have cats, so your dog should be comfortable around feline friends. What your pup can expect: - A calm, structured, dog-loving home - A large fenced backyard for supervised play - Plenty of tennis balls and snuggles - Consistent routines and clear communication with you - Updates and photos while you’re away I love learning each dog’s personality - their quirks, preferences, routines, and comfort needs - so I can make their stay feel as close to home as possible. A Few Important Notes: - We welcome small dogs (20 lbs and under). - Dogs must be comfortable around children and cats. - No large-breed puppies, even if they meet the weight requirement. If you’re looking for a warm, attentive home where your dog will be treated like family, I’d love to connect and see if we’re a great fit. Message me anytime with questions! Pet care fits seamlessly into our daily rhythm. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so dogs receive consistent supervision, morning and evening walks, backyard playtime, and plenty of structured attention throughout the day. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine to reduce stress - feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications, and sleep habits. In my home, they’re treated like family with structure, supervision, and lots of affection.
About: Hey there! I am an animal nutritionist very passionate about her work. I will love and care for your pets. Hablo inglés y español🫶 I work from home most of the time. At home I have a 5yo old good boi who is super friendly, Pinto. He is great with other dogs and cats! We spend a few hours a day training outside, playing fetch or on our hot dog walks but he will not be joining the walks with your pets. Can administer medication to your pets if needed. I don’t tolerate violence against animals. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet!😊 Available for boarding over the weekends! Weekdays can be discussed upon request. I spend my weekends with my own pup, hiking or doing crafts. We love the outdoors. I love using treats for positive reinforcement! The important thing is that they have the must fun during our time together and I pay lots of importance and attention to water consumption

About: I actually run a mobile dog gym as my full-time job (ask me about it), but have some free time during the day and wanted to open up my scheduled for outside walks/runs/pet care. I always wanted someone I can trust with my dogs and know they are in good hands, so I try to be that for you as well. I love being outdoors, so I am happy to take dogs outside and run around with them. If it's too hot out, we can do brain games/training/mental enrichment to tire them out. I have owned dogs my whole life and handled all breeds/temperaments. I currently volunteer at the Hamilton County Humane Society and get exposure to many different temperaments consistently so feel comfortable with most challenges that come my way. I run a mobile dog gym for my full-time job which is great when the weather doesn't cooperate, for those high energy dogs, overweight dogs, but looking to help more pups that might not be ready for that. Happy to get your dog on a consistent walking/running schedule if needed. *Also happy to talk about alternatives/supplements to walking! In my clients home, I'm taking notes from you. Following your protocols, routines, etc. I prefer a meet and greet, but after that I'm meeting your dog where they are at each day and making sure their needs are met. It might be playtime in the yard, a structured walk, or a quick potty break and snuggles. We will take each day as it comes!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Fishers
Claire was amazing with our two cats while we were away! One of our cats needed daily ear medication, and she handled it without any issues. She also watered our plants, sent lots of photos and updates, and really gave us peace of mind while we were gone. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for cats. We'd definitely book with her again and highly recommend her!

Jonna was an amazing cat carer. She was very patient with my cat. Jonna was also responsive to Penelope (my cat)when she was vocal. Jonna even got my cat to play with her. Jonna was very easy to communicate with and so good with Penelope. I am so relieved to and will look to book with Jonna next time I have to travel.

Mary is awesome. Have been using her for 5 years for drop ins while we are on vaca. She goes over and above each time. Bringing in packages and breaking icicles that are hanging off gutters so no one gets hurt. The cats are well fed and hydrated along with having clean litter. I highly recommend Mary!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fishers. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
