I grew up in a home with animals ranging from lizards to gerbils to dogs/cats. I have a background in behavioral sciences, focusing mainly with individuals with disabilities. However, I took many courses working with rescued animals and training animals using behavioral techniques with love and trust throughout my undergrad. I truly enjoy being the “go to” gal to watch our family and friends sweet babies. Our dog, porky, loves new friends and our cat, princess sparkles, is always curious with new visitors. Both are wonderful with other animals and novel people.

Amanda was an awesome choice for drop ins for our dog Mellie. She took a ton of photos and left detailed notes for each drop in. Would definitely consider hiring her again!
We couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter! Amanda took such wonderful care of our fur babies. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in great hands, especially with her detailed updates and sweet photos. She is a true animal lover and went above and beyond to ensure our kitties were loved while we were gone!

I currently work from home with the occasional home visit. I am home a majority of the time and available for walks or playtime outside.

We live in a condo with yard space that is wonderful for frisbee, catch, and running; however, it is not fenced in. Plenty of attention/love, feeding, walking, playing, and if desired, minor training, would all be included.

I love to play and interact with every animal. I’m happy to go on walks, play frisbee, play catch, and stay active. My dog, Porky, loves playing with other dogs and cats so he would also be happy to entertain indoors and outdoors. Since I have a flexible work schedule, I’m happy to accommodate whatever is desired with ease,
