“Amazing! Such a relief to have Lauren taking care of our animals! She is timely, professional and very trustworthy. Our dogs loved her and it was clear she is great to them! We will always book with Lauren to watch our pets!”

“Joa is awesome! He did such an incredible job taking care of Barky and making sure he got all of the details down. Barky’s (and our) comfort were Joa’s top priority. We greatly appreciate all he did and trust him to watch Barky again!”

About: I’ve taken care of many animals for 4 years now. Cats, dogs, hedgehogs, fish etc. I enjoy taking care of animals and I would love to help take care of yours! I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I have a flexible schedule and have no problem discussing what works best for the both of us. I will do my best to maintain a schedule for the pet and work with the client to see what makes the client and pet the most happy!
“Paige did such a fantastic job with our dog Ollie! She was very thorough with her Rover Card and kept us informed during the whole visit! She’s also a fantastic dog photographer! Cannot recommend her enough, Ollie had so much fun with her and she kept these anxious dog owners very relaxed during her stay.”

“Jasmine looked in on Madison all week. This is the first time Madison was alone so I was especially nervous. She took direction well and made necessary adjustments to make sure Madison as as comfortable as possible. I will be re-booking!”

“Jordan was a wonderful sitter and took such great care of my cat while my husband and I were on a long trip. She was consistent with her care and provided detailed updates and adorable pictures. Our chronically shy cat really warmed up to Jordan and they were fast friends. As a bonus, Jordan’s sons were welcome and respectful additions. I loved that our cat got to interact with multiple caring people while we were away.”

About: I have been a regular pet sitter for friends, family, and coworkers since I was a teenager. I have experience with large or small dogs, elderly dogs, cats, and pets that need medication or other accommodations. I have experience with dog-sitting for up to two weeks at a time. This has sometimes included, but is not limited to, administering medication, cleaning up messes inside and outside, walking, feeding, and bathing. Ensuring the safety, health, and happiness of each pet I take care of is my top priority and it is one of my favorite things to do in the world! I do not have the same schedule weekly, so I will constantly update my availability. I only know my availability up to 3 weeks in advance. Unless I have to work very early the next day, I am available for overnights at least 3 days a week (typically). I am unable to have pets at my house because I live with a family member’s dog that does not do well with other animals. Please give me any and all instructions! I will make sure to follow any routine that I can for your pet to be comfortable. I will provide as many updates/photos as requested.
“Steph did an amazing job taking care of my two fur babies! One of them is special needs because he went blind about a year and a half ago, and I was really nervous because I haven’t left him since this happened. I’ve only ever boarded my dogs before and I’m a first-time Rover user but I would absolutely book with Steph again. She followed instructions, sent updates, and went above and beyond. Thank you so so much!”

“My pets love Kristina and I am thankful for her. She always does just what I ask her & she cares a lot for animals. I have complete peace of mind knowing she is caring for them.”

“Sandy does a wonderful job! Always on time, and never any issues. Sandy has also responded numerous times unexpectedly when we are in a pinch. Most reliable sitter we have ever used on Rover. Highly recommend!”

“Bailey was such a help doing two drop-in visits for us over the weekend. We have two large breed high energy girls that love to run and play and Bailey seemed to have no problem at all and played with them to help deplete some energy. She also sent such detailed updates and tons of pics. Highly recommend!”

About: I have had cats all my life and have been the proud owner of a mini Aussie dog for almost 1.5 years. I have always had a passion for animals and actually have a degree in Animal Health and Behavior. I had dreams of being a zookeeper but unfortunately had to postpone those due to personal reasons. However, my heart is still in taking care of animals/pets, and I'd love to help you with yours! I am currently unemployed and my husband works a 7-5 Mon-Fri job. Therefore I'm available to pet sit or do walks on the weekdays! Late morning-afternoon preferred. If needed, I can provide house sitting on weekends. I can drive to your house and walk your dog around the neighborhood. I have my own dog as well, and could even have them play at our apartment complex (lots of outdoor space). Because of my skittish cat, it would be difficult to bring your dogs inside my apartment, but can do so if necessary.
“What a pleasant experience!! Rebecca was kind and able to work well with the critters at my home for an important weekend for me (the first since I had surgery, and the awesome relaxation that I was able to spare myself to stop professional burn-out). It was so appreciated!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my 10 years of hands-on experience caring for my own Chihuahua, a small, energetic little brown bean with a shiny coat. Through the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of small dog care, from daily morning and evening walks to preparing soft meals tailored to her needs. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to providing pets with personalized care, whether it’s ensuring they get the right nutrition, sticking to their routine, or simply giving them plenty of love and attention. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I strive to make them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I work hybrid from home, which allows me to provide attentive care for pets. I'm available for boarding, house sitting, and check-ins from Thursday to Sunday. Additionally, I offer check-ins and house sitting on Monday to Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. I live in an apartment, but my complex is surrounded by beautiful trees and open space, perfect for walking and running around. There’s always something fun to do outside, whether it’s exploring nature or playing in safe, pet-friendly areas. Inside, I ensure a comfortable and secure environment, keeping toxic foods and hazardous items out of reach.
“Jenna was amazing. We left town pretty quickly and she was able to come by, even on a holiday, to take care of our kitties. We got to see pictures of them while we were gone. I can’t thank her enough.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,287 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Woodbury. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodbury. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
