About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs of different ages, sizes, personalities, and needs. Growing up, my family had a Black Lab and a Maltese, so I became comfortable caring for dogs ranging from small breeds to larger, energetic dogs from a young age. I currently have two cats of my own—Smalls, my 3-month-old short-haired black kitten, and Boomer, my 6-year-old big, fluffy long-haired cat.
