And when a cat wasn’t enough, I begged for a dog, and two years later starting competitively riding horses until I went to college. About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. It was clear that Buddy was well cared for and comfortable in her home. After this experience, I honestly don’t see myself ever taking Buddy back to a kennel.
