Hi! I’m Elizabeth, a Rover Sitter with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, & personalities. My home is best suited for friendly family dogs who enjoy a structured, home-based environment. I currently have dogs & cats of my own, so I’m experienced with multi-pet households & carefully managing introductions, feeding routines, crate time, exercise, & rest periods. What sets me apart is that I treat every stay like a dog is joining our household, not just being watched. I prioritize safety, consistency, & clear communication so both pets & owners feel comfortable throughout their stay. I have experience with puppies, large breeds, crate training routines, shy dogs, & dogs who need a little extra time to settle into a new environment. I provide regular updates, photos, & individualized care while maintaining the structure that helps dogs feel secure away from home. My goal is simple: to provide a safe, calm, & loving home where your dog can relax, play, & be treated like family.

Schedule
Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine! I have dogs & cats of my own, so my day naturally revolves around feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, enrichment, & lots of cuddles. I work part-time, which allows me to spend a significant amount of time at home throughout the week. Guest pets are included in our daily routine & receive regular potty breaks, exercise, supervision, & attention throughout the day. I strive to maintain each pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible so they feel comfortable & at home during their stay. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, naps on the couch, or a quieter environment, I work to meet their individual needs while providing a safe & structured home environment.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety & comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. Before each stay, I take time to learn about a pet’s routine, personality, preferences, & any special instructions provided by their owner. When boarding in my home, I use slow, supervised introductions with resident pets & closely monitor interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable. Dogs are never left together unsupervised until I am confident they are a good fit. Crates & separate spaces are available when needed for meals, rest, or decompression. I maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide fresh water at all times, & follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. My home is pet-friendly, & I take care to keep potentially unsafe items out of reach while providing a clean, secure environment. For drop-in visits & house sitting, I respect my clients’ homes & follow all instructions carefully. I pay close attention to feeding routines, medications, exercise needs, litter box maintenance, & home security. I also provide regular updates & photos so owners can feel confident their pets are happy, safe, & well cared for while they’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable & every owner feel at ease.

A typical day
A typical day starts with morning potty breaks, breakfast, & plenty of time to settle into the day. Throughout the day, pets enjoy supervised playtime, outdoor breaks, walks, enrichment activities, & lots of attention based on their individual energy levels & personalities. For social dogs, there are opportunities to play with resident pets & enjoy time together in a safe, supervised environment. For pets who prefer a quieter experience, I’m happy to provide one-on-one attention, cozy nap spots, & a calmer routine. I believe dogs need a healthy balance of activity & rest, so our days include both playtime & downtime. Whether that means a walk around the neighborhood, exploring the backyard, working on basic manners, enjoying puzzle toys, or simply relaxing with the family, I aim to make each pet feel comfortable & at home. Cats receive plenty of individualized attention as well, including play sessions, treats, enrichment, brushing (if they enjoy it), & lots of affection on their terms. Every pet is different, so I tailor activities to their age, personality, & comfort level while keeping their routine as consistent as possible.
