“Sam and Rachel took GREAT care of our 4 month old cockapoo while we left for vacation for a week this summer. It was the dogs first time away from us! They sent us pictures often and gave us updates. They also walked him often. We felt so good about leaving him because he was going to a kind and loving family. He was a clean and a happy pup when we picked him up. So grateful to have found them. We recommend and plan to use their services again. ☺️”

“Stephanie and her family made Porter feel like a family member and gave us frequent and fun updates! Stephanie’s dogs and our pup got along and enjoyed playing with one another, putting my mind at ease for him to get enough activity and stimulation while we were gone. From coordinating a meet and greet to communicating how Porter was doing through the stay, I felt confident in her care for our pup. I would highly recommend Stephanie to anyone needing a sitter for their beloved fur family member!”

“Amy provided great care and attention to Bailey. I received daily updates and photos on her activities. I would highly recommend Amy for Boarding. I will schedule Amy on future boarding services.”

“We were so pleased to have Jane take care of our dog over the holidays. She provided daily photos, videos and updates. Milo was clearly happy in her care and we would definitely have him stay with her again!”

“Amy did an excellent job caring for our dog, Penny. Penny loved playing and snuggling with Amy and her son. We received great communication and pictures throughout the time Penny was with Amy. We would definitely recommend Amy and will use her in the future.”

“Brendan was great with our 5 month old Aussie puppy! He sent daily updates and was extremely flexible when our flight got delayed. Our pup was happy to play with his golden retriever and came home very sleepy!”

“Richard took such great care of our pup while we were away for a long weekend. We received lots of pictures, videos, and even a report card when we picked her up. We'd highly recommend Richard!”

About: As someone who has worked with a countless amount of dogs and cats, I understand that every pet is different. I am a registered vet tech with the love for animals. I work at a small animal vet with a specialty in dogs and cats. I am experienced in administering medications of all types (oral, injectables, transdermal) and am proficient in identifying symptoms of illness. While your pet is under my care, I prioritize making sure they have fresh, clean water, clean environment, exercise, and food as needed. With my experience as a registered vet tech, I understand how each pets needs are different. I currently don’t have any pets of my own so your dog would be my sole focus. I can accommodate any feeding schedule and can accommodate any medications. Your pet will be taken out on a leash for potty breaks and won’t be left unmonitored while outside.
“It was our first time using Kristen for watching our dog and we look forward to using her services again. She sent me an update to let me know he was doing well, which is always good to hear. She had all of his stuff packed up and he was ready when I picked him up. He was well cared for and it was comforting knowing he was getting loved while we were out of town.”

“Briana was an amazing dog sitter! She kept in great communication the entire time I was away, which gave me so much peace of mind. I especially loved all the pictures and videos she sent of my fur baby, it really made being away a lot easier. You can tell she genuinely cares and goes the extra mile. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“Yaima was wonderfully taking care of our pups. They were so happy and worn out from such a fun weekend with her family. She was very responsive and flexible. Hey dog Stella is a sweetheart and made for such a good companion to our boys. Definitely using her in the future!”

“Jacklyn took amazing care of our dog Mac! She provided thorough updates and pictures. He was clearly well taken care of while we were gone and we would definitely use her for future needs!”

“We left our Max for about 30 days with Marietta. She was great, Max seemed happy and well taken care of. He was no crated and was free to run in and out of the house. She has big and nice backyard. Marietta was very accommodating to him. She allowed him to rest in her bed.”

“Christina and her family took the best care of our dog! They made her feel like she was a part of their family! Christina also kept us updated with pics and messages! Thank you!”

“Sharon did an amazing job with my boy Dave! He was well cared for and and very happy when I picked him up. Her communication and daily pics were on point. I couldn't ask for a better sitter and will use again!”

“Yelena was very good with my dog, my dog has some special needs with her medicine. She sent me some pictures and video that are keepers, showing me how well the pets were getting along.. I will be a repeat customer, thank you for taking such great care ❤ of Siya.”

“We have an old dog and we were reluctant to go on vacation. We learned about Veronika and left our dog with her for 8 days. She took such great care of Gus and sent us a daily update with pictures. He looked so happy and you could tell he was being cared for so well and with such love. Knowing Gus was there and being care for so well relived our anxiety and allowed us to enjoy our time away. I would highly recommend Veronika and will definitely take Gus to stay with her again.”
“Ellie was absolutely great for us and our dog! She was kind, communicative, and knows her way around dogs. Even better, her adorable dog Red was a great companion for our own during the 1.5 days away from us. Our dog was all tuckered out the next day from all the fun she had. Can’t recommend Ellie enough!”

“Rachel and Seth were great with Mellie. Their schedules are super accommodating and Mellie loved their pool, sunny backyard, and front yard windows. She would love to go back any time!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Westfield
★★★★★ This was our first time leaving Boris, so we were definitely nervous, but Kailly made the entire experience easy and reassuring from start to finish. Boris is almost two and full of energy, and it was clear he had an absolute blast playing with her dog and even hanging out with her cat. We loved getting updates, pictures, and videos while we were away. He came home happy, exhausted, and clearly very well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience and would absolutely recommend Kailly!

Ninette and Ryan were really kind and sent me lots of cool photos of my dog Bax. He felt immediately comfortable at their home as if he was excited to be on vacation, and I feel very confident that he was well cared for. And when my own planning glitch happened, I was able to use their convenient pet drop off service at the end of the visit since I was out of town and could not pick up Baxter at the time I initially booked.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
