Pet care experience

Attentive and loving pet sitter!

I am full-time pet sitter and lifelong animal lover with 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I have regularly volunteered and fostered for multiple rescues in Indiana and Ohio over the past 7 years, so I am very comfortable with dogs and cats of all different sizes, ages, temperaments, and energy levels. I am also experienced with administering medication, caring for blind and deaf dogs, and caring for pets with special medical needs.

Katy has watched our dogs twice and done a great job - she leaves detailed notes and communicates with questions when needed.

Katy did a great job caring for our pups when we were out of town. She was communicative and left detailed notes which I really appreciate.

Safety, trust & environment

🏠 About my home: I live in a house in Westfield with a shaded, 6 ft privacy fenced back yard. Your pets are allowed on the furniture and bed just like my own. I have tons of dog toys and am happy to share some of our treats with your approval. I am able and happy to accommodate pups of any and all size and breeds, any age, and up to two dogs per household. I will send plenty of pictures and/or videos throughout your pet’s stay, so you know they are having a good time!

Pets

A typical day

⭐️Typical stay: I love providing a fun and positive experience for the dogs staying with me. Playful dogs can run free in my privacy fenced back yard, join my dogs and I on our daily walks, and play with the many toys in my home. Lazy dogs are welcome to lounge on the couch or on our many dog beds. No matter your dog’s energy level, we will find something fun for them to enjoy. I love nothing more than seeing repeat customers book with me and hearing that their dogs get super excited pulling in my neighborhood because they know where they’re headed!

Katy can host up to 2 pets per night
💫 Before booking: I’ll need to know if your dog is friendly with both dogs and cats, whether they are fully up-to-date on vaccinations, and confirmation that they are not currently ill or contagious. 🚨 Please note: I am unable to accept dogs in my home who have severe separation anxiety or destructive habits. This includes: • Chewing furniture and/or carpet • Marking indoors • Showing extreme distress when away from their owner 🐱 Cats in the home: For everyone’s safety, I cannot accept dogs who dislike cats or show strong prey drive. If your dog has never met a cat, ask yourself: Does my dog try to chase or “hunt” small animals outside? • If yes → They are likely not safe around cats • If no and your dog tends to ignore them → We can arrange a meet & greet to confirm compatibility before the stay ✨ Please be upfront and honest about your dog’s needs and behavior so we can make this a safe, positive, and stress-free experience for all. Thank you for your understanding!
