“Amanda was very prompt and detailed with her photos so we knew everything was being taken care of while we were away. We did not have to worry about our sweet Minnie!”

About: Since I was 14, I’ve been responsible for taking care of my own dogs and those of my neighbors, family, and friends. I come from a large dog family, from a Great Pyrenees to Labs and German Shepherds, but I’ve also been able to care for smaller dogs in my neighborhood. I’ve also cared for sensitive and reactive dogs who came from hard backgrounds, so I have experience taking it slow to build trust. I also care for cats as well, with experience from my own 13 year old orange cat and my mom’s two crazy kittens. Whether it’s taking them on walks, playing tug of war, giving them meds, or just keeping them company, I love any time I get to spend with fur babies. I’m preparing to leave for a scholarship in Poland at the end of September after graduating with my Master’s degree in May, so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am free most days and times with the exception of a few days with prior commitments throughout the summer. I strive to provide the best care with the utmost respect for you and your fur baby’s home. If there’s anything I should know about your pet’s care preferences or any neighborhood/environmental concerns, please let me know so that I may keep your pet safe at all times. I have experience with fenced in yards and open areas, as well as plenty of experience with flight risk dogs (those German Shepherds love to run!) and returning them safely home. My goal is to keep your pet and place safe and clean until you return home.
“Danielle is great!! She has taken care of our dog and cat over long periods of time and we just had her on a multi-visit day to allow us to visit family out of state. She is always on time, a great communicator and, has a great sense of humor.”

About: I have had dogs of my own since I was born and pet sat since I was 15...but had experience with drop ins, housing, and walking dogs since I was 12! I love all animals, and currently have 3 dogs of my own since Small, medium, and large! I would love to love on your pets while you are away, so reach out if you need me for anything! I work as a nanny and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to take mostly all visits that are booked a week in advance, and I can work around later bookings! I have a fenced yard and 3 dogs at my house...a small, medium, and large, that LOVE to play. This is an option if you are comfortable with that or I am happy to do house visits or stay at the house!
“Karmen was absolutely fantastic with our two dogs. We have a puppy that is still very nervous around strangers and they were best buddies almost immediately. At out first meeting she brought treats for our dogs (which they LOVED!) She was so dependable and arrived right on time for each visit. She sent lots of pictures and updates during each visit as well. We have used Rover for numerous trips so that our senior dog could be comfortable in our own home while we were gone and this is by far the BEST experience we have had. She is just amazing with the dogs! She even pulled our trash cans up!😊”

About: I have had cats and dogs since the day I was born and I have never had an empty house since. I currently own two cats and a dog myself and it gives me such joy being able to take care of others people's pets. I have watched over friends and families dogs and cats since I can remember and I have never had a bad experience! Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, as I prioritize creating a balance that allows me to provide attentive and loving care. My schedule is flexible, enabling me to accommodate feeding times, walks, play sessions, and any special needs a pet may have. I take pride in being organized and ensuring that each pet gets the time and attention they deserve, whether it’s daily check-ins or extended stays. Caring for animals isn’t just a task—it’s a fulfilling part of my life that I genuinely enjoy. I will not be allowed to bring animals into my home sadly. I am more than able to come to you or pick up your dog and hang out with them for the day!

This includes regularly scooping litter boxes and sticking to a consistent feeding schedule when needed.
About: I have taken care of many dogs between family and friends. I haven taken them on walks, feed them, and gotten lots of playtime with them. I also have a dog of my own that I have been taking care of for about 6 years. I just graduated at Carmel high school and I have a very open schedule for the summer before I head to IU Bloomington for college. I have a big fenced in backyard and a friendly little Bichon Poodle mix. I also have experience dog sitting at other houses and I don’t mind it!
“Jesse was great with our cat Orca while we were away! He helped keep him company and well taken care of. Our kitty had come down with an illness and needed daily medication - Jesse administered it every day, and gave us updates. We would love to have him watch our cat again, very trustworthy and responsive!”

About: Hi! My name is Lynette, and I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. One thing that makes me a great dog walker is that I love being active. I have a daily step goal that I work toward, so long walks are something I truly enjoy not something I rush through. Taking dogs on walks makes reaching that goal even more enjoyable, and I love giving them the exercise, attention, and outdoor time they deserve. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities and am always willing to adapt to their individual needs. Whether your dog enjoys a leisurely stroll, an energetic walk, or extra playtime, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and care. I would love the opportunity to spend time with your furry friend and make their walks the highlight of their day! I start every morning with a walk, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I enjoy staying active and have a daily step goal, which means I genuinely look forward to spending time walking and caring for dogs. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I can dedicate time throughout the week to ensure pets get the exercise, attention, and care they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully, maintain their normal routine, and make sure they have plenty of attention, exercise, water, and care. I am attentive on walks, keep dogs securely leashed, and always prioritize their well-being. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to create a positive, stress-free experience for both pets and owners.

About: Hi! I’m a high school special education teacher who loves animals and understands the importance of patience, consistency, and trust. As a teacher and parent, I’m responsible, dependable, and attentive to details. I’ve cared for dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors, including feeding, walking, playtime, and providing companionship while owners are away. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family and will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet needs a walk, a check-in visit, or overnight care, I’d be happy to help! I’m a high school special education teacher and have a flexible schedule during the summer. I can provide plenty of attention, exercise, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. During the school year, I’m available before and after work, on weekends, holidays, and school breaks. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, loving, and supervised environment with plenty of attention and affection. I follow all feeding, medication, and exercise instructions carefully and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: Hi! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have two of my own who I’ve cared for since they were puppies. I also have experience helping friends by walking and sitting for their dogs, so I understand how important it is to have someone reliable who treats pets like family. Whether it’s going for a walk, playing fetch, or just giving belly rubs and company, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I’ll always treat your dog the same way I do my own — with patience, kindness, and plenty of attention. I already build my days around caring for my two dogs, so adding pet sitting and walks fits naturally into my routine. Every morning and evening, I take them out for walks, playtime, and meals, and I love spending time outdoors with them. I also have flexibility in my schedule to stop in for drop-in visits, go on longer walks, or provide extra attention when pets need it. Because caring for animals is already part of my daily life, it’s easy for me to extend that same care to your pets. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I believe in following their established routines as closely as possible — feeding schedules, walks, medications, and favorite playtime activities. I know how important it is for pets to feel secure in their own space, so I would make sure they’re not only cared for but also feel loved and relaxed until their family returns.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Westfield
Highly recommend Nicole. Needed to go out of town last minute and the process was so easy. Nicole was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Will use her again in the future. My dog does not do well boarding and this takes a lot of stress off knowing she is in good hands.

Laura was THE BEST sitter. We got a puppy recently and had to start going back into the office this week. Laura was great with her and helped her get comfortable with a new person. She went above and beyond giving her treats, taking her on walks, and playing with her. She even cleaned up and after Maisie had accidents. 10/10 would recommend!

Hannah is amazing!!! I am always nervous leaving my fur babies with a new caretaker or kennel. I had to leave town very unexpectedly to care for my grandma who had fallen. I was in a real bind worrying about our dogs getting play time and being let outside for potty breaks for the 10 days I was gone while the hubby had long work days. Not only was Hannah very quick to respond but came the very next day to meet the family and dogs. She showed up every day on time and gave great feedback and pics of the pooches during each visit. She even brought them new toys and did a fabulous job of deep cleaning where one of the dogs got sick. She went above and beyond just coming over to let them out. I highly recommend her and will absolutely use her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
