Have had pets all my life ranging from typical dogs and cats to the more exotic horses and reptiles. Pets are not like family, they ARE family and I will always treat them as such. I have watched and cared for many pets throughout my childhood and adult life. I have pet sitting experience whether it be watching a family member's senior dog while they go on vacation, watching a college students new puppy while they go back home over the summer, taking care of my sister's cats while she finished up her degree, or simply stopping by to take my mom's dogs on walks when I'm in town. I am willing to do whatever your furry friend requires. I am comfortable with overnights with pets, walking/caring for multiple pets no matter the size. I am also comfortable with meeting your pets needs, whether it be strict dietary needs, specific walk routines, or medication that is needed during my stay or visit. Communication is key so as long as I'm aware of needs to be done, I will make sure your pet is well taken care of

Derrick has watched my dog and cat for years and always does a fantastic job! My cat isn’t a fan of humans in general and even she loves him. I trust Derrick completely every time I have to leave town, and would even change my vacation schedule to make it work with his availability. I highly recommend using Derrick for your pet sitter- you won’t regret it.
Derrick took care of our two dogs over a weekend while my partner and I were out on travel. The dogs loved him and we came back to them almost sad that Derrick was no longer around to watch and play with them. We will definitely be having Derrick watch our boys in the future and recommend to anyone needing a dog sitter.

I am currently working remote and have the flexibility to work with my rover clients' schedule. Whether it be midday walks, or overnight care, I can make myself available.
