“Patrick is amazing. He communicates so well and spent extra time making sure our senior pitbull is as comfortable with him before his visit. It’s so wonderful knowing we have a reliable person to care for our dog while we’re away!”

“You took the best care of my cat! Even went above and beyond bringing in my mail. I appreciate the photos of your drop ins and the love you gave to Cora while I was away.”

“Cheryl is amazing! Our dog Marley absolutely loves her and the pictures we get from Cheryl prove that. Marley is always so happy and smiling when they are together! Cheryl is very communicative, kind, trustworthy, and accommodating to our needs. She has been so helpful in watching our pup and we appreciate her so much!”

“Monica was great with Myra and Jett! While Jett was definitely the more social of the two, I knew Myra was getting food and attention as well. She took many photos during her check ins, which was so great to see.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My family has had dogs ever since I was a baby, and we've owned a variety of breeds, including Pugs, Shih Tzus, Labrador Retrievers, and more. I currently have a 9 year old Australian Shepherd who keeps me active and reminds me every day how important quality care is for our pets. I'm also a lifelong horse owner and rider, having owned and cared for horses and other livestock since third grade. And as much as I love dogs, I'm just as much of a cat lover! I began pet sitting independently when I turned 18 and have since built a wonderful group of repeat clients. I provide a wide range of services, including drop-in visits, dog walking, overnight stays, and extended pet care. I take pride in being dependable, attentive, and respectful of my clients' homes, always leaving them as clean or cleaner than I found them. Most importantly, I care for every animal as if they were my own. Building trust with both pets and their owners is something I take seriously, and providing safe, loving, and reliable care is something I am truly passionate about. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine as a dog owner myself. Every morning, I spend 20–30 minutes walking and playing with my 9 year old Australian Shepherd before starting my workday. During my lunch break, I often return home to let her out and spend some additional time with her. I work a full time 9–5 job, but I have a flexible schedule and the ability to work from home when needed. This flexibility allows me to accommodate pet visits, walks, and other care needs throughout the day. Because caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, I make it a priority in both my daily and weekly routine. My top priorities when caring for pets are their safety, comfort, and maintaining the routine they're used to. I always follow the pet owner's instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications, and any specific care needs. Whether a pet is on a leash or in an approved off-leash environment, I make sure they are supervised and safe at all times. I also have experience caring for pets of all ages, from young puppies to senior pets. I understand that trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. I pride myself on being dependable, respectful, and communicative, providing regular updates so owners can have peace of mind while they're away.
About: Hello there, My name is Alicia and I would be honored to care for your pet. In my life, I have cared for multiple cats for over 12 years, co-parented an adult Vizsla for a year who had frequent seizures, and co-parented two elderly Dachshunds (both 19 years old - one was blind and the other had severe arthritis in her hips). I also have experience caring for puppies. I graduated from Boston University with a degree in business back in 2015. I am currently an IT business consultant who works from home most weeks so my schedule is pretty flexible most of the time. I love hanging outside and going for walks. I am very careful with sanitizing areas, hands, and belongings. Please note that pets with separation anxiety and/or special needs will be subject to a 40% rate upcharge due to the increased care required. Thank you for your kind and thoughtful consideration. Please do not hesitate to message me with any questions or requests. I hope to hear from you soon. -Alicia I work from home so I will be able to take your dog out multiple times throughout the day for plenty of walks and potty breaks. There is a park and large field near my home so there are plenty of places for me to exercise and play with your dog.
About: Hi! I’m Janet. I provide a quiet, home-based boarding experience for dogs who do best in a relaxed environment rather than a busy kennel setting. I work from home full-time, so your dog receives plenty of supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. Dogs become part of the household and are welcome to relax on the furniture, follow me from room to room, or sleep wherever they are most comfortable, including the bed if that’s their normal routine at home. My home features a fully fenced yard with dog-door access, allowing dogs to move freely between indoors and outdoors throughout the day. My Home Is Best Suited For Dogs Who: • Are friendly, well-socialized, and non-aggressive • Have a calm to moderate energy level • Enjoy a quieter home environment • Are comfortable with free access to a fenced yard 🚫 Dogs I Do Not Accept For safety and compatibility reasons, I do not accept: • Dogs with a history of aggression toward people or animals • Dogs that jump fences, climb, dig out, or otherwise attempt to escape • High-drive or high-energy dogs that require constant activity • Pit Bulls, Pit Bull-type breeds, American Bullies, Staffordshire Terriers, Cane Corsos, Presa Canarios, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Akitas, Wolf Hybrids, or mixes of these breeds I’m comfortable administering medications when needed. Just provide instructions and I’ll be happy to help. If you’re looking for a peaceful, home-based boarding experience where your dog can relax and receive individualized attention, I’d love to meet you and your pup. I maintain a consistent daily routine and try to keep each dog’s schedule as close as possible to what they’re accustomed to at home, including feeding times, medications, sleeping arrangements, and any special care instructions. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality, routine, and preferences before their stay. I also provide updates and photos during boarding so owners know how their dog is doing while they’re away.
“Emily was great! She was very friendly throughout & very accommodating, both with timing a FaceTime to talk to me & my fiancée & be shown our house & with the actual sitting itself. She took great care of our little girl, Pumpkin. We got pictures & were reassured that she was doing alright. Pumpkin’s shy & she doesn’t always come out of hiding, so it was important for us to know if she did during a visit & that she was eating enough.”

“Maja was AMAZING! I had a prolonged power outage while away and she not only stopped in additional times to make sure my cat was ok/not too hot/auto-feeder was working, she also offered to clean out my fridge so it wouldn’t be full if spoiled food when I returned. She definitely went above and beyond!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Speedway
Ross was fantastic. My Cru can be a handful at times and he really showed up for me when she was not exhibiting her best behavior. He handled the situation professionally, calmly, very effectively and I am very grateful for his time spent with my two dogs. I could not have asked for more. I would definitely rebook him but that’s assuming he would even accept us again given her little spectacle she caused.

If I could leave six stars for Samatha I would. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sam dropped in on my two large dogs while I was out of town for a week and she provided exceptional care. I received detailed updates and photos of the dogs while I was away. I had peace of mind knowing they were in good hands, getting fed, petted, or loved while I was gone. Best ever 😊💙

Brittany is THE BEST sitter I’ve used on the app. I ended up needing to fly out for work during a snow storm and she still made it over to check on my Indy girl. A mirror also fell during her visit and she was gracious enough to clean up all the pieces so the dog did step on any and hurt herself. This was my second time using Brittany but definitely not the last!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
