“Sam was so fabulous with our shy girl! Sam was patient and our Mabel really seemed to warm up to her. Sam was detailed and we loved getting photos and videos. Highly recommend!”

“Savannah did an excellent job looking after my two dogs while I was gone for almost 2 weeks. She was prompt with her visits, delivered medication with foods, played and snuggled with them, and took them for walks. I could tell from the photos she sent that my dogs loved being with her. I would definitely use her again and recommend her highly!”

About: I have ample experience watching my friend's energetic dog. At first he was shy around me, but I was able to gain his trust and now we're buddies! :) I am doing only gig work at the moment while I am learning languages and upskilling. My schedule is very flexible and that allows me to adapt to your pet's specific needs. I pay close attention to promptings from the pet of needing additional attention and care. I also pay attention for feedback on the pet's feelings about their food.
“We are so pleased to add Karissa to our dog sitting team! She truly loves dogs and was wonderful with our shy/reactive dog. She sent photos and notes that helped give us peace of mind while gone. Karissa is dependable and does a great job!”

“Kyla is so contentious - she kept me posted when her schedule altered from our requested times. I appreciate her great communication. I will certainly use her again in the future.”

“Noah took great care of our two cats and was incredibly helpful when our trip got extended. He stayed flexible, kept a positive attitude, and handled everything with professionalism. We came home to happy, well-cared-for cats and truly appreciated his support. Highly recommend!”

“Scott took great care of my very anxious golden retriever! Scott was reliable and kept Meeko on his schedule. He text me about his visits and sent me pictures. He not only let him out, he played with him in the backyard and took him for a walk. He even got Meeko to eat his food, which never happens when I am away! I highly recommend Scott and will definitely be using him again!”

“Abby did a wonderful job and exceeded expectations! Abby was communicative and flexible. As this was my first time, she was the perfect person for Bella. I couldn’t recommend her enough and hope to continue to contact her first before using other people. Thank you so much Abby!!”

About: I love spending time with animals! I grew up with dogs and have two cats of my own. I work remote full time so I can get away whenever. Wanting to start doing this as a hobby more than anything else! I work full time remotely so I can get away pretty easily during the weekdays (especially in Carmel) I can always work around weekend availability as well! “Nina has been just so sweet and Anya just loves her. I loved how she immediately interacted with Anya when she walked in to meet her. She gave Anya all of her attention. She has great communication and love that she is the one taking care of my girl.”
About: I grew up caring for our family pets (cat, dog, fish, and gerbil)! When I was in high school, I had my first pet sitting experience while traveling to my uncle's house in the evenings to check in on his dog. I would always stay for at least 20-30 minutes to make sure that she ate some food, drank water, went potty, and had play time with me. Although I currently only have cats, I'm also a dog lover and I'm happy to care for both. I enjoy going for walks and I'm not afraid to give some good pets and rubs and have pet hair all over my clothes. I'm looking forward to making new animal friends! ♥ I'm currently working remotely full-time, so I'm available any day of the week morning/afternoon/evening/overnight as long as I can access the Internet! I can certainly take as many breaks as needed for potty breaks, feeding, playing, etc. I cannot offer care in my own home, but I'm able to travel to your home to provide pet care services. My schedule is flexible!
“Kia always does a great job with my cavapoo! I really appreciate her flexibility, as there have been a few times my schedule has changed and Kia has been so generous to accommodate it. I’d highly recommend her!”

I have done medical transcription for over 35 years and can do it from anywhere, so I am available 24/7 to care for your pet. I can care for your pet(s) in your home just as if you were there. I am also able to do any routine tasks required (take out trash bins, plant watering, lawn maintenance, or any other chores needed).
“Raelyn did an amazing job looking after my two cats! She was very communicative about timing and provided plenty of update messages and photos. My kitties are shy but she was very patient with them and respected their boundaries, and they definitely warmed up to her over time! I had no question that they were being taken care of well and it provided me a lot of mental peace during my vacation. I will definitely book Raelyn again in the future!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
