“Elizabeth did an amazing job taking care of our 8 year old golden retriever. I really appreciated all of her check-ins including pictures. It gave me so much relief knowing she was taking such good care of him. I highly recommend Elizabeth for your pet sitting needs.”

“Kendall is incredibly kind, patient, and reliable. She took wonderful care of our 10-year-old cat while we were out of town, and we came home knowing our cat had been well looked after. We really appreciated her care and attention, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!”

“Ashley was a life saver by stopping in to see our dog. She sent pictures to keep us updated and he looked so happy having her there. She also double checked with what I needed her to do such as feeding him and anything else. Would recommend her!”

“Zoe does such a great job with my pets. Anytime I’m on vacation I look forward to reading her very detailed scorecards and seeing the cute pictures she sends of my girls. It’s so obvious that she’s an animal lover and treats them as her own.”

“Dayna was prompt, professional, caring, highly communicative, and a perfect fit for our needs. This was our first time using this type of dog service and after a couple of days we had no worries at all! We appreciate Dayna SO much and will definitely choose her again! Thank you for doing what you do, and doing it so well!”

“Great with Coco! She was reliable, communicative, and took good care of her while I was away. Coco seemed happy and well cared for when I got back. I would definitely recommend her and would use her again.”

“Maria did an amazing job caring for my cat while away! Very responsive and give daily photos and updates. Would definitely have her watch my cat again next time I go out of town.”

“Ryngo has been getting the attention she needs while I am at work! She has been doing a fantastic job keeping me updated and making sure my pup gets her potty and meal breaks while I’m gone :) I look forward to continuing to book her during my work hours!”

“Jeni gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our two cats were happy and fed for multiple days, and she went above and beyond with pics and notes about how they were doing. Will definitely book again!”

“Joe was amazing! Very attentive to both our pups! We had a last minute change to our booking and Joe was super accommodating. Would definitely recommend and book again!”

“Brelynn is amazing! She was so kind and gentle with my senior dog, who needs medicine hidden in wet food and also needs assistance getting up and down the stairs to my deck. Even in frigid January temperatures, Brelynn gave my dog the outdoor time she needed and then cuddled with her indoors for the rest of the visit. She gave my dog more time and attention than I can provide over a rushed lunch hour, and I’m so grateful for the loving care she gave my doggy!”

About: Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always prefer preferred animals over humans! I’ve had cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, and I’ve never met a species of pet I don’t like! I’ve cleaned litterboxes, taken care of sick cats and dogs, walked and bathed dogs, and am constantly doing research to know more about our four legged family members! I currently work for myself and make my own hours, so I’m very flexible during the week! I have four cats of my own and one beloved nephew-puppy I often help care for. I’ve taken care of pets my whole life! I can provide a clean and safe environment for animals such as puppy proofing, litterbox cleaning, dish cleaning, and accident clean ups while also providing other services to keep your four legged friends happy and healthy such as walks, play time, and whatever you feel your pet may need.
“Danielle comes twice a week and two times each of those days to take our dogs out. She is conscientious about documenting their time together and making sure they get exercise. Highly recommend.”

“Kyla is so contentious - she kept me posted when her schedule altered from our requested times. I appreciate her great communication. I will certainly use her again in the future.”

“This is twice now we’ve used Sam within a month. She consistently leaves detailed reports and provides plenty of pictures. I can’t say enough good things about her professionalism and adaptability. She will be our go to choice moving forward anytime we need a dog sitter.”

“Kasey has become a God send for our family! We have a full schedule that keeps us away for longer than we want our German Shepard to be home alone. Kasey has been able to help us with daily drop in visits that are always on time and complete with pictures and a legit 30 minutes of time outside for our dog. I would absolutely recommend anyone to trust her with your furry baby and we will continue using her as often as possible.”

This was my 2nd time to book Kendall to check in on my cat while traveling. I will continue to request her as long as she is willing and available. She goes above and beyond to make sure my cat is taken care of which is greatly appreciated. One less thing for me to worry about when I’m gone. Thanks Kendall!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
