About: My 17 year old brownie passed in May 2026, and I had spent the last 15 years loving her, but her final 3 years caring for her in her old age. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My family has had dogs ever since I was a baby, and we've owned a variety of breeds, including Pugs, Shih Tzus, Labrador Retrievers, and more. I currently have a 9 year old Australian Shepherd who keeps me active and reminds me every day how important quality care is for our pets. I'm also a lifelong horse owner and rider, having owned and cared for horses and other livestock since third grade. And as much as I love dogs, I'm just as much of a cat lover! I began pet sitting independently when I turned 18 and have since built a wonderful group of repeat clients. I provide a wide range of services, including drop-in visits, dog walking, overnight stays, and extended pet care. I take pride in being dependable, attentive, and respectful of my clients' homes, always leaving them as clean or cleaner than I found them. About: Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always prefer preferred animals over humans! I’ve had cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, and I’ve never met a species of pet I don’t like! I’ve cleaned litterboxes, taken care of sick cats and dogs, walked and bathed dogs, and am constantly doing research to know more about our four legged family members! I cannot say enough positive things about Kaitlyn as our pet sitter. Our cat loves her, which is evident from the visit descriptions and respective photos. Kaitlyn seems to really get our cat’s personality and preferences (also noticeable in the visit descriptions and photos). This puts us at ease and is a really nice touch that Kaitlyn brings to the interaction she has with our cat. Our cat is extra happy, calm, playful and cuddly when we return, which is a sign that she was not stressed or upset about my husband and I having extended time away. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
