“Thank you again for taking care of my babies! Bailey took great care of them and I appreciate the consistent updates throughout the entire time I was gone with photos and texts.”

“Regina was wonderful! She took great care of our dog and cat in our home for the weekend. We look for a sitter who can spend a lot of time with our pets and she’s able to do that! She’s professional, conscientious and trustworthy! I recommend her for anyone looking for pet care - 100%.”

“Anne was terrific; friendly, conscientious, caring. She is an experienced dog sitter, thus she is knowledgeable in what to do. She communicated very well throughout her stay.”

“Stephanie is my absolute favorite sitter that I've found through this site. She is dependable, loves our pups, and sends lots of pics. I can always count on her to give our pups the love and attention they need.”
About: I have had many dogs since I was a kid. As an adult, I have had 5 dogs over the years. They have always been adopted from a shelter or rescue group, plus one dog from an elderly friend. I have adopted 2 puppies and the others were several years old when they were adopted. I love their companionship. I walk our current dog as many days/week as possible. She is my travel buddy! I have crate-trained the puppies and provided as much love and care as possible for our senior dogs, including providing medication. My animals are my children and are very spoiled! I'm currently unemployed so available pretty much any time to care for animals. Once I find a full-time job, my schedule may change a bit but if my job is remote then I would have a lot of flexibility to care for the animals. I have a fairly large fenced yard for running and playing. Trees for observing the squirrels! There are 2 outside cats that do not really mind other dogs. My dog has done very well with other dogs as long as they are not aggressive or too big. I also live in a nice neighborhood where dogs can be walked, including a nice, wooded area with a great trail for walking. I also live close to Eagle Creek park where dogs could be walked.
“Noelani has sat with Diesel on multiple occasions. Diesel runs to her whenever she arrives at the house. He clearly has an attachment to her that reassures us that we have no worries about his welfare and comfort when we are away from home and Noelani is there. We will continue to use Noelani's services in the future.”

“Cannot say how grateful I am to have found Tara to watch my Copper, she does an amazing job and I cannot thank enjoy my trips more knowing he os happy and taken care of. Amazing sitter”

“Kristle was amazing!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter to watch our Coco Bella! Kristle was loving and caring! She was so good to Coco! She took her out on walks, played with her, and made sure she was well taken care of. She sent us pictures everyday and was quick to respond! I am so happy we met Kristle and we will be in contact with her for future needs! I highly recommend her services! Thank you Kristle and family! Coco loved you guys!”
About: Hi, my name is Ashlea! I am a fur momma to a beautiful little pomsky and a german shepherd!! I know how stressful it can be when you are busy or on vacation and you need someone to look after your pet. I’m here to help! A little about my background in dog sitting.... Whether it’s my families dogs, friends or neighbors dogs, they can always count on me. I absolutely love dogs and I am extremely dependable. I will treat your pup as one of my own. I love being outside and going on adventures! Cooper, Tampa and I go on multiple walks per day so it’s part of our everyday routine! Let’s be honest, dogs are better than most people. I love hanging with the dogs! 😊🐶 Available most evenings and during lunchtime. I have two dogs of my own and we take multiple walks a day as part of our daily routine. Care for them just like my own. I know how stressful it can be to leave town or have long days at work and have to worry about your pups!
“Gianna watched our bud Goose while we were away for the weekend and it was a great choice. She was communicative, great with Goose, and had absolutely no troubles taking care of him. We came home to a very happy boy, and I’m sure he will be staying with Gianna again in the future.”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets for most of my life. I started pet sitting as a teenager and have owned pets for most of my life, primarily dogs. After retiring, I decided to try my hand at pet sitting services. Since I’m retired, my schedule is very open. I prefer to pet-sit in the owner’s home, therefore disrupting their pets the least. I would be bringing my own 8-pound dog with me. I prefer to pet-sit the dogs in the owner’s home. I feel it disrupts the pets’ schedule the least, and keeps them on their regular routine as far as feeding and bathroom schedule.
“Allison was excellent!! We had no concerns leaving our boys with her and they were EXHAUSTED when we got home! She even worked with them on some of their obedience training, which was great!! We will definitely be hiring her again!”
The median cost per night for house sitting in Eaglewood Estates is $45
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Eaglewood Estates
I’ve used Kendall for both house sitting and drop-in visits for my pets, and I can’t recommend her enough. She was fantastic during her week-long stay at our home. She kept us updated whenever we checked in, took our puppy on long walks and hiking trails, and even treated her to pup cups. She spent time working on training, kept her active throughout the day, and clearly gave her so much love and attention. We also came home to full food and water dispensers, which made settling back in after a long trip so much easier. Kendall is incredibly responsive, dependable, and always does her best to accommodate us—even when we have last-minute meetings or unexpected schedule changes. Knowing our pets are in such great hands gives us complete peace of mind. We will absolutely continue using her services and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pets like they’re her own.

Absolutely lovely! Alexi watched our dogs for a week in our home and we couldn’t be happier with her service! We got pictures and updates daily, which I really appreciated. She also loved on and snuggled our babies just as much as we would have. It was such a relief to know our pups were in good hands while we were away. Definitely will be recommending to all my friends and family who need someone to watch their pups! 🩷

Damica went above and beyond our expectations for a dog sitter! We came home to a very happy and healthy dog. She did a great job keeping us updated with photos and messages and she did a great job handling our very stubborn pup. We will definitely be asking her to dog sit again!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Eaglewood Estates walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Eaglewood Estates maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Eaglewood Estates choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
