I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. We used to love to take long strolls around the neighborhood and visit our pals at the local dog park. We would cook dinner and lounge around watching our favorite flicks. We even took car rides around town when we got bored. I have had many labs and larger dogs as well as small dogs over the years and love caring for all breeds and sizes. I take care of my neighbor’s dogs, bunny and cats when they go out of town. My duties at this job include walking, feeding, administering medication, and caring for the overall comfort of the dogs we board. I love dogs and have always enjoyed working with them. I have my own leads but I have experience walking dogs with harnesses and other such devices. About: I have had many dogs since I was a kid. As an adult, I have had 5 dogs over the years. They have always been adopted from a shelter or rescue group, plus one dog from an elderly friend. I have adopted 2 puppies and the others were several years old when they were adopted. I love their companionship. I walk our current dog as many days/week as possible. She is my travel buddy! I have crate-trained the puppies and provided as much love and care as possible for our senior dogs, including providing medication. My animals are my children and are very spoiled! I'm currently unemployed so available pretty much any time to care for animals. Once I find a full-time job, my schedule may change a bit but if my job is remote then I would have a lot of flexibility to care for the animals. I have a fairly large fenced yard for running and playing. Trees for observing the squirrels! There are 2 outside cats that do not really mind other dogs.
