“Dayna was outstanding. She made sure she arrived on time, took our dogs on a good walk and even played a treat game with the dogs on our deck. Dayna communicated status updates and provided photos throughout the week. She will be a "go to" for dog - and cat- care in our household!”

About: Hi, I’m Kendall! I’ve been caring for animals my whole life and have been providing pet care through Rover since 2023. I’m a proud cat mom to Topaz and Turbo, and I believe pets thrive with a balance of love, exercise, mental enrichment, and consistency. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and one-on-one doggy daycare for personalized attention. I enjoy learning about animal behavior and training, and I love helping pets stay active, confident, and engaged. I also have experience caring for very young animals, including bottle-feeding newborn kittens. When you trust me with your pet, you can expect reliable care, regular updates, plenty of affection, and someone who treats your furry family member like one of their own. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I have plenty of time to give your all of your furry pets all the love and attention they will need while you are away. My schedule is updated regularly and I will be sure to fit my schedule around your needs once booked. One question I always ask my clients is “how long can your pet be alone?”. I adhere to those guidelines. I have plenty of experience with dogs & cats. I have dog/cat and house sit for the last several years for clients when they were out of town on vacation. I promise to provide your pups or kitties with safe, loving care.

I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, administering basic medications, and giving pets the patience and attention they need to feel comfortable while you’re away. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me for years to care for their pets because I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely love animals. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or needs a little extra care, I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I currently can do one visit/walk for your pet before 8 am and 2 in the evening during the week and free all day on weekends! 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day. 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you’re away. My Basic House-Sitting service includes staying overnight with your pup so they have company and comfort in their own home. This service would also include me bringing my own dogs As I will not leave them unattended overnight. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, which allows me to provide reliable and attentive care throughout the day. I make time for walks, playtime, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and check-ins while making sure each pet gets plenty of attention and companionship. I’m available in the mornings before 7am, late afternoons & evenings, and on weekends. I always prioritize keeping pets comfortable, active, and cared for while their owners are away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs so they can feel safe and relaxed in a familiar environment. About: Hello! I'm recently retired from the Air Force, an avid reader, and a lifelong animal lover. I've cared for cats and dogs throughout my life, including my senior British Shorthair, Sasha. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I'll care for your pets as if they were my own. Whether they need walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm presence, you'll receive plenty of photos and updates while you're away. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I care for my senior British Shorthair, Sasha, and enjoy building walks and outdoor time into my day. Since retiring, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and care. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. At this time, I provide care in my clients' homes rather than my own. I understand that pets are often most comfortable in their familiar environment, and I'm happy to maintain their normal routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of affection. I'll treat your pets as if they were my own and provide regular photos and updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: Hi, I’m Emma. Thanks for stopping by my profile! I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always had a dog in the house. I grew up with Labrador Retrievers and currently have a French Bulldog of my own. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and temperaments — from high-energy puppies to seniors who need a slower pace and extra attention. I also have experience with cats and grew up riding and caring for horses, including competing at the collegiate level. Whether you’re looking for daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and well loved. 💡 Note: Dogs requiring extra care — such as seniors, those with mobility issues, or pets needing medical support — are booked at my Puppy Rate due to the additional time and attention involved. I know how important it is to find someone reliable who genuinely cares for your pet. I’d love to learn more about what your dog or cat needs to feel right at home! I currently work M-F 8-5 and take a lunch break daily lunch break. I work remotely so can block time in my calendar to accommodate you and your pet’s needs. I am usually open on the weekends. I live in an apartment complex near near multiple parks with great walking trails. Happy to hang with your pup indoors or go do something more active outside!
About: I have had many dogs since I was a kid. As an adult, I have had 5 dogs over the years. They have always been adopted from a shelter or rescue group, plus one dog from an elderly friend. I have adopted 2 puppies and the others were several years old when they were adopted. I love their companionship. I walk our current dog as many days/week as possible. She is my travel buddy! I have crate-trained the puppies and provided as much love and care as possible for our senior dogs, including providing medication. My animals are my children and are very spoiled! I'm currently unemployed so available pretty much any time to care for animals. Once I find a full-time job, my schedule may change a bit but if my job is remote then I would have a lot of flexibility to care for the animals. I have a fairly large fenced yard for running and playing. Trees for observing the squirrels! There are 2 outside cats that do not really mind other dogs. My dog has done very well with other dogs as long as they are not aggressive or too big. I also live in a nice neighborhood where dogs can be walked, including a nice, wooded area with a great trail for walking. I also live close to Eagle Creek park where dogs could be walked.

I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! I am currently working in a school, which gives me much more time to be fully attentive for pet care especially on days when I am on school breaks! My goal is adapt to the pets needs whether they are used to going on long walks, lounging around the house, etc. to make them feel as comfortable as possible.
“Elizabeth was amazing! I’ve never booked someone through rover before and she made the experience very easy. Our dog is super stubborn and our dog seemed to really enjoy her and even potty for her. Our dog usually doesn’t potty for many people.”

About: Hello! I’ve taken care of dogs professionally for 7 years. I have worked at Hunt Club Boarding Kennel in Zionsville IN since 2019. My duties at this job include walking, feeding, administering medication, and caring for the overall comfort of the dogs we board. I love dogs and have always enjoyed working with them. I am attending grad school at IU this fall and I am looking to make some extra money doing something I love! I have a very flexible schedule and can easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I currently work part-time at Hunt Club Boarding Kennel, with shifts typically lasting 4–5 hours. Because of my schedule, I have no midday conflicts and am available to stop by between 12:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. every day for walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, or check-ins. I am also available in the mornings and evening depending on my kennel schedule! Please reach out for more availability! I am very comfortable controlling dogs regardless of size. I have my own leads but I have experience walking dogs with harnesses and other such devices. It might sound silly, but I understand the importance of proper harness application and know that if it is put on incorrectly this can lead to major issues. After 7 years of working at the kennel I am confident in my ability to read animal behavior and know what a dog is comfortable with or not.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
