Loving animals forever!
I am a volunteer at the Indy Humane animal shelter. There, I help dogs that have experienced all sorts of bad days have good days. I give all those babies treats, bully rubs, kisses, and tons of play time. My first dog was a Shiba Inu mixed with a chow…a stubborn but very loyal girl! She was my childhood dog and unfortunately had to be put down last year. Since she’s gone, I don’t have my favorite furry baby anymore, so I figured I can help you take care of your furry baby! I am skilled in giving medicine as well. My family dog has severe epilepsy, so I know exactly what to do in the event of a seizure, and know how to keep calm in a stressful situation. I had raised and worked with reactive dogs of all sizes and breeds. My past dog, Arlo is reactive, but with time and dedication he is thriving!

Makayla was very helpful with our dog Luna. She was so well taken care of, and it gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We could tell she was happy, comfortable, and getting lots of attention. Communication was excellent, and we really appreciated the updates.

Schedule
I can walk your pet in the mornings, around lunch time, and the evenings! I can board on the weekends. I can pet sit on the weekends as well. I work from home every Tuesday and Friday (Friday starting Oct 1).

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood. There is also a dog park in my complex as well. I don’t allow dogs to meet each other unless it is confirmed by the owner first.
A typical day
Stimulation is my top priority! Mental and physical exercise is what keeps furry babies happy. Basic obedience commands, snuggle mats, and long walks work great!
