About: I have grown up with dogs in my home of all sizes. I have also been taking care of neighbors, and friends pets since I was 12 providing in-house pet sitting, walks, feed, medication and more! I am currently a college student at Ball State and am available around the Muncie/Yorktown area while I am attending school. Each day varies but Monday-Thursday I only have 2 classes so I have plenty of time to watch, play, and love on your pups. Also Friday-Suday I don't have class so my schedule is open most weekends. If watching your dogs from your home I will stop in for awhile and love on your pups multiple times a day and whenever specified!
“Maelynn was great with my high-energy pup! She took fantastic care of him and left a detailed Rover card, including lots of pictures of their adventure together. I highly recommend Maelynn!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals my entire life. Dogs, cats and even exotic pets. I currently have two dogs and a cat of my own and they are everything to me. I’ve also been named as my neighbors dog’s step-mom because I am their go-to dog sitter for every occasion. I can’t wait to meet and care for your fur children! I work full time until 3:30pm during the week. I am available evening and weekends for drop ins or walks. Depending on the time, I could be open to early morning drops ins as well. I will exclusively care for your pets in your home - doing drop ins and walks. We will play, snuggle, go for walks. I have experience administering oral medications to dogs - especially the anxious variety.
About: As a child, I had several pet dogs. As an adult, I had two great dogs for the family. Now recently retired, I occasionally sit and dog-walk two grand dogs. As a retiree, my schedule is quite flexible. I am available any day of the week. I can walk or check in on your pet at any time during the day. I'll be consistent with your pet and alter my interaction depending on your and your pet's style. If I'm at your home, I'll treat it with great respect and leave everything as it was when I arrived.
About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I currently care for my own older blind dog, so I understand the patience, attentiveness, and extra care some pets need. I’ve also pet sat for a Rottweiler, Bulldog, and Dachshund, so I’m comfortable handling both large and small breeds. I’m reliable with feeding, walking, playtime, and sticking to each pet’s routine. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for, and I keep owners updated for peace of mind. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m available most weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust to your pet’s routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I make sure pets aren’t left alone for long and get lots of care and interaction throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow your instructions closely and keep a clean, calm, and secure environment. I have experience with dogs of different sizes and including senior pets, so I’m patient and attentive to their needs. I supervise pets carefully, keep a consistent routine, and provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

“Alexis is dependable and goes above and beyond when she can. She thinks of things to make the visit better and is intuitive in the questions she asks. I will definitely ask her back.”

About: Neighbors, friends, and family members have relied on me to take care of their pets every since I can remember, my most unique pet being a pot belly pig. I have trained 3 puppies and taken care of a senior dog over the last three years. I work from home four days a week and the one day that I go in to the office is only for four hours. While I am home your pet will be left out with me and if they need crated while I am gone I have one that can be provided. They have full access to the home, including the couch and bed. I live in a condo with a small yard. I have a 2 year old treeing walker coonhound for them to socialize with. We go on frequent walks in the neighborhood to stretch our legs and to the park.
About: I’m a married 51 year old mom with two daughters aged 17 and 14. I have over 25 years of experience working in a school setting, and am now working part time. I have a 10 year old service dog who lives with us, and works with students at my school. I treat dogs as well as my own children, as I understand how much they are a part of your family. I’m responsible and will be as connected to you as you want- sending updates and pictures to ensure you feel confident that your pet is safe and happy. My husband works from home, and I’m currently working part time. We are up by 6 every morning. I’m primarily trying this on the weekends to start, however depending on your situation, the weekdays could work as well. I have a 10year old golden/lab cross. He is a neutered male and was trained by an organization as a service dog. He comes to work with me to work with students. We often watch other service dogs through this same organization, so I do have experience caring for other pets. We have a kennel in our home that we can use, if needed. While our dog loves other dogs, it would be important that your pet is not aggressive. I have zero concerns that our dog would ever be aggressive. We do not feed our dog anything other than two meals per day, as he is on a strict diet. Water is always out. We would follow all food directions you provide for your pet. Our pet is treated like a human, so no furniture is off limits and pet hair is just part of our lives.
About: I’ve had cats my whole life and started pet sitting other people’s pets in high school. I’ve looked after all types of pets such as hermit crabs, rats, rabbits, cats, and dogs. Since then I’ve adopted two kitties of my own and I can’t wait to look after yours! I am happy to stop by for drop in visits before or after my shifts at work or on my days off, send me a message for more specific scheduling. I am very comfortable navigating your home to your needs. I am happy to follow any instruction given and will make sure your fur baby is happy and safely taken care of.
About: I have been obsessed with dogs since I was little. Always wanting to have one, pet one, and just interact with one. I currently have a GSD, who is a handful, that I love dearly. I’m currently working 12 hour shifts with a rotating schedule. My available days change every week, but I know my schedule very far out in advance. I am very mindful of doors being closed all the way before and after taking your furry baby for a walk. Will provide them with water and treats before and after. I can also put them back into their crate before leaving if required.
About: I have always had a dog growing up. We lost baby to cancer in February and just wanted to keep sharing the love we had for him with others. My schedule is flexible, I am retired and love to share a nice backyard with a five foot fence, snuggle and kisses all day long. Depends on the needs of the dog. The goal is to keep them cared for in a safe environment. Just like they are at home.
“Ben was awesome, very nice, caring and knowledgeable. We felt comfortable letting Ben into our home to care for our animals while we were away. We will forsure be using him again in the future.”

Plainfield dog parents share their Rover experiences
We cannot say enough great things about Alisa! We recently went on vacation and left our dog in her care, and she made the entire experience absolutely amazing. Our dog is blind and requires insulin injections twice a day, so finding someone we could fully trust was incredibly important to us. From the moment we left, Alisa gave us complete peace of mind. She kept us updated every day with detailed notes about how our dog was doing and sent daily pictures that made us smile and helped us feel connected while we were away. It was clear from every update that our dog was receiving attentive, compassionate, and loving care. Managing a blind dog with a strict insulin schedule requires patience, responsibility, and experience, and Alisa handled everything flawlessly. We never had a single worry during our trip because we knew our dog was in excellent hands. If you're looking for someone who truly goes above and beyond, we highly recommend Alisa. Her communication, professionalism, and genuine love for animals are outstanding. We will absolutely be booking with her again! 🐾❤️
Safe At Home Hannah has consistently provided exceptional care for our dogs. She checks in, and provides pictures to reassure us that all is well. We’ve used her before and recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter in the future. Thank you for the special care of our canines.

10000/10! Lindsay is a terrific sitter. She is responsive, kind and you can tell really loves animals. She watched our three dogs in the middle of a snowstorm and went above and beyond caring for them, it means a lot to know your babies are well taken care of and there’s nothing to worry about. Cannot recommend enough!
