“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. Thanks again for a great stay!”

I also briefly worked at a vet clinic as a kennel technician. I am happy to adapt to the dogs comfort and energy levels. I have learned to deal with stubborn dogs, and dogs with socialization issues. I love to play tug-of-war or fetch or simply run around with a dog, but will be sure that they stay hydrated. “We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. Thanks again for a great stay!”

“I was very happy with my service with Jaclyn. I traveled overseas and was gone for 11 days. Jaclyn took care of Louie the whole time I was away. I was so happy knowing that I did not have to worry about my doggie from the other side of the world! I knew he was well taken care of. Also, when I messed up on the timing of my return - she was so kind and gracious about it! She even went above and beyond and brought Louie home to me so I didn’t have to go out and get him. That was above and beyond and I really appreciated it so much. I will definitely be using them again!”
“This was the first time I've left my dog with a stranger, so I was a bit uncertain about a two-night stay. But from the first phone call, to dropping my dog Stormy off, to text updates to finally picking Stormy up, the experience couldn't have been better. Hannah instantly made me feel at ease, and her love for animals is evident. Hannah even introduced Stormy to her own children - and little kids were a new experience for Stormy. But all went REALLY well and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hannah nor to place Stormy in her care again :)”

About: I grew up with a dog in my home, so caring for pets has always felt natural to me. Today, my wife and I have two boys and a two-year-old mini Australian Labradoodle, so dogs are already a regular part of our family life. As a family, we’ve also helped care for dogs through the Humane Society, which has given us experience with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. We understand that every dog is unique, and we’ll take the time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and comfort level so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Our goal is to provide reliable, loving, family-style care with plenty of attention, fun, and updates for you along the way Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because I work from home and am home most evenings. That gives me flexibility throughout the day for potty breaks, feeding, playtime, walks, and check-ins. My wife and I also have a dog of our own, so caring for pets is already part of our normal family rhythm. We’re used to building our day around walks, meals, attention, and making sure dogs feel comfortable and cared for. In our home, we focus on providing a safe, comfortable, family-style environment where pets can feel cared for and relaxed. We’ll follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, crate or sleep preferences, and any special instructions from the owner. Since I work from home, I’m available throughout the day for attention, supervision, potty breaks, and check-ins. We also have a two-year-old mini Australian Labradoodle, so we understand the importance of routine, patience, exercise, and helping dogs feel secure in a home setting. For drop-ins or care in a client’s home, we’ll be respectful of the home and make sure pets have food, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, affection, and any needed care based on the owner’s instructions. We’ll also send updates and photos so owners know how their pet is doing while they’re away. Before accepting a booking, we like to learn about each pet’s personality, schedule, comfort level, and any important safety details so we can make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.
