About: I was a humane society volunteer for three years and have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes! Looking forward to spending time with your furry friends! I am currently working remotely full-time, so most of my time is available on weekends or check-ins throughout the week! I am also a morning person! I have experience house-sitting, so taking care of your pets in your home should be nothing new for me! Will always give a few extra pets before I leave :)

About: The cats my family had (& still have) when I was growing up at home were all strays. Two from a man experiencing homelessness in Manhattan, one abandoned in a park in the Bronx, a fourth found in Queens, & the most recent addition came with the house my family moved to. I used to do drop in visits for my neighbor, my mom’s friend, who also had adopted a lot of strays; I can remember seven of them in total, most of whom she had the same time! I just have one cat of my own now whom I adopted from the 9 Lives Cat Cafe through Misty Eyes, but I fed a lot of Monon cats daily before I got Pumpkin. I teach at a middle & high school downtown, so not only do I have time in the mid to late afternoons & weekends, but I have summers almost completely free. Just let me know when you need me & I can probably come through! My fiancée & I are very particular about Pumpkin, so we understand that pet owners can have specific expectations. Maybe your cat or dog only likes to play in a specific way, or maybe a bunch of ways & they pick a different one each day & I’ll have to figure it out. Pump’s pretty self sufficient, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t spoil her. We don’t see her drink from her automatic water fountain, but we still clean it & change the filter regularly. & don’t worry, having gone to college & graduate school, I’m very good at following directions, & learning to give directions over the past three years teaching has only made me better at it.
“Jason has helped out with checking in on my Lab, Stanley, daily for the past 5-6 months. He is super reliable, friendly, and trustworthy. He always sends pictures of your dog and updates you regularly. Jason, thank you again for your help the past few months and, to others, I would definitely recommend booking him! Very good with pets and a really guy! Will definitely book again if I ever need a sitter!”

“Hannah was amazing with our cat while we were gone for 10 days! She provided pictures and updates. Emmi loved her and the new toy she brought! We will definitely rebook when we leave town. Hannah is really reliable and so good with animals!”

About: I have been a longtime dog owner and have loved every minute of it! I have plenty of experience with senior dogs especially, and I am willing to give them all the extra care and patience they may need! My two sweeties, Molly and Maggie, lived to 17/18. They were the best companions I could have ever asked for! I just moved to Indianapolis in the beginning of August and am looking for work in the area. Right now, my schedule is fully open. I will be available for walks, drop in visits, and I am open to overnight stays as well. Every animal is different, and I will tweak my care for them depending on their needs whether that be going on walks, play time, medication, or feeding. I will maintain consistent communication with updates if/when needed.
“Mary was very communicative, and even was willing to FaceTime beforehand to say hello and meet the dog. She spent ample time with Stella to ensure she had some people time!”

“Tawsha was wonderful! She provides detailed messages and was super great and loving with my boys. You can be sure your pets are in good hands with Tawsha- which makes being away from them so much less stressful!”

“Molly provided exceptional drop-in care for our cat, Thomas, while we were away on vacation for a week. Thomas is a very affectionate house cat, but he’s usually hesitant around new people. I wasn’t sure if he would come out during her visits, but I needed someone responsible who would maintain his normal routine by providing fresh food and keeping his litter box clean. Molly exceeded every expectation. She sent us daily photos of Thomas enjoying snuggles and playtime with her, along with thoughtful updates about his behavior and how he was adjusting. It was clear she took the time to make him feel comfortable and cared for. Knowing Thomas had companionship and comfort while we were away gave us peace of mind. We would recommend Molly to anyone looking for a dependable pet sitter who is truly in tune with cats. She is a natural with them.”

“Jena was amazing! She was able to do a meet and greet on short notice which was super helpful. She sent me tons of pictures while I was away, and my cat Wally was snuggling with her in most of them which made me so happy to see!! Would definitely recommend her for all your pet sitting needs!!”

“My sister and I used Rover for the first time when going out of town for a few days over Christmas. Christy did several drop-in visits with our 2 dogs. She was extremely professional, prompt and handled their different personalities seamlessly. We will definitely hire Christy again!”

“Amazing! Ariana put my mind at ease being away from my pup. She updated me every step of the way with pictures and sweet messages. My Indy enjoyed his stay and will be back!!”

“Heather was super flexible and extremely responsive when it came to checking in on my pets! She went above and beyond to make my cats feel comfortable even though she was only looking after my dog. I am extremely appreciative of her attentiveness and how sincerely she cared for my little guys. Highly recommend!!!”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and have always loved caring for animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own and want to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with me. I’d love the opportunity to give your furry friend the same care and attention I give my own pets! I have also had plenty if experience dog sitting for my family and friends and it’s something I enjoy! I’m currently at the University of Indianapolis pursuing my Doctor of Physical Therapy. My schedule keeps me busy with classes and staying active, so pet sitting is a great way for me to take a break, get some fresh air, and spend time with animals. I love being active and helping others, and caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I’m attentive to their routines, make sure they have a clean and safe environment, and give them plenty of love and attention. I’ll follow any instructions you provide and make sure your pet’s needs and safety always come first.

About: I have been doing over night stays for around 5 years now! I also have distributed medication, adhered to strict feeding guidelines, vet transportation, and lots of outdoor activities! For me written instructions are the best but I can do anything! I love to help where I can. I am currently working part time and in school but I do have Wednesdays available and the weekends! I also can do late night feedings/ walks I’m off by 7. Currently I am not available to have animals in my living space but that’s why I would love to take care of yours! I do have a large enough vehicle so we can always explore!
About: When I was a kid, I helped my grandfather on his horse farm and would take care of the barn cats. Since then, I have lived in a 3 cat household where two of the cats did not get along and created a schedule so they could both be happy. I can bathe a pet myself if needed, as I have done this for my cat Juniper. My grandparents have two smaller dogs Ginger and Cleo I have cared for for a few days. We have fun taking walks and exploring nature. For bigger dogs, when I was in high school, I would help with the neighbors' Bernese mountain dog Abby, and I have spent a lot of time with my aunt A's doodle Bruno. I have also spent time with medium size dogs, as my aunt B has two pitbull mixes, that are very affectionate and love the dog park. I know that all dogs have different needs and I try to met them. This means that with my uncle’s older pup we won’t do any jogging, but with my aunt’s younger doodle we will definitely jog a bit. I work in education and currently have my days free to spend with furry friends. This means I can be flexible when it comes to pet sitting and spending the night. I am a very friendly, clean, and organized person and I’ll make sure that if I am coming over to your home that food is served and any accidents are cleaned up. As long as you give me a list of what needs to happen for your furry friend, I’ll make sure it gets done. From crating your pup to tricking your pet to take their medication For pups, I will ensure they’ll get the amount of walks needed a day, as well as some outdoor playtime with whatever games they like to play. I will make sure that there is no poop left on our path and check to make sure there isn't anything concerning. Plus, I will feed them according to their schedule. For cats, I will ensure that they get two square meals a day and that their water is never empty. I will also pet and play with them as much as they desire because some cats are more recluse than others. I will also scoop out their litter box, and clean out the litter box if needed
