I have owned and taken care of other’s pets all my life. I am 48 years old and have 3 cats and 1 dog currently. I have had many labs and larger dogs as well as small dogs over the years and love caring for all breeds and sizes. I take care of my neighbor’s dogs, bunny and cats when they go out of town.

Jan was amazing!!! I have an anxious rescue dog who is still trying to get used to her surroundings, and she absolutely loved Jan. She was very communicative and sent me photos throughout the day. This was my first time using Rover and I felt very comfortable leaving my pup with her!
Jan has been absolutely amazing! I was nervous to be away from my cat while out of town, however, Jan sent the sweetest updates and took the best care of my cat! I couldn’t recommend her more for your fur babies!
Jan did a wonderful job watching our 2 dogs, cat and new kitten while we were away for a night. This was our first time using Rover, and we were really impressed. Jan was wonderful and both of my cats came to greet her when we met, which almost never happens. She communicated well and sent updates each day. I appreciated the flexibility in my scheduling too.

Schedule
I work a full time job from home and have a lot of flexible hours to walk dogs during the day. I am available most weekends to come over and care for other pets, clean litter boxes and just spend time with your fur babies.

I have a very large fenced in yard and a social dog that will play. I have 3 cats that have spent their entire life around dogs. I have 3 different sized dog crates if your dog is crate trained. My pets are allowed to sit and sleep on the furniture and beds in the house. My pets are like family members and pretty spoiled! I will treat your pets the same as I treat mine.

A typical day
I love to take walks with my dog and will make sure your dog gets plenty of time to sniff and walk around. I have a Fetch It so we can play fetch in my large backyard. I also have a Flirt Pole that some dogs really like. It’s great exercise for them.
