“I would have given more stars, but there was only five. We were leaving on a 12 day trip and needed someone for our 2 cats, one has diabetes and needs his insulin shots twice a day and he is very timid. A friend recommended Rover and that’s there we found Stefanie. She has been a godsend for our boys. She game to meet them and both weren’t having it, but she reassured us they would be ok. We shut all the doors upstairs & downstairs so they had less places to hide, but Grady hid anyway. I believe she couldn’t find him for the first 2 days and we ended up having our son come over and he finally found him and gave him his insulin. She tried looking everywhere and was so attentive and let us know everything. We felt just awful leaving her to deal them, but she persevered and finally earned their trust and it was the best experience /outcome we could have ever wished for. She is a super awesome pet sitter, she sent texts and pictures twice a day. In the end they both felt comparable and safe with her and now we’ll always have her as our sitter and hopefully a friend. About: I have loved caring for my animals since my youth. As a child, I cared for my neighbors’ pets when my neighbors were away from home. In more recent years, caring for the adorable pets of my friends and family has been the highlight of my days. I’m primarily trying this on the weekends to start, however depending on your situation, the weekdays could work as well. I have a 10year old golden/lab cross. He is a neutered male and was trained by an organization as a service dog. He comes to work with me to work with students. We often watch other service dogs through this same organization, so I do have experience caring for other pets. We have a kennel in our home that we can use, if needed. While our dog loves other dogs, it would be important that your pet is not aggressive. I have zero concerns that our dog would ever be aggressive. We do not feed our dog anything other than two meals per day, as he is on a strict diet. Water is always out. We would follow all food directions you provide for your pet. Our pet is treated like a human, so no furniture is off limits and pet hair is just part of our lives.

About: I have cared for and lived with several dogs throughout my life. We have a female black lab named Vanta. There is someone home at nearly all times of the day, so your dogs will have free roam of the house and can go in and out of the fenced in back yard as they please! We also have an 8 year old son that loves to help! I am a preschool teacher, so I am able to do afternoon and evening visits during the week and anytime on the weekend and during school breaks. I can assist with any type of need ranging from long walks, simple belly rubs, to training help. Maple, my lab, was a diabetic for 7 years, requiring insulin injections. I am highly experienced in administering topical, oral and injectable medications, as well as eye and ear medications. The care needed for my senior dogs helped build my knowledge on many types of medications and daily care pills. Whatever the need may be, just ask me! EDUCATION: I am a graduate with my b.s. in buisness from Purdue. I currently am a stay at home mother, with much freedom to build my own schedule. About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was old enough to stay home alone as a young teen! Growing up, we always had two or three dogs in the house, along with the occasional indoor and outdoor cat. I also grew up around horses and have experience caring for a variety of animals, including some other farm animals. Honestly, chickens scare me the most, but I am up for the challenge! If you’re looking for care beyond dogs and cats, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss your needs! I also work from home a few days each week, which allows me to give pets extra attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I currently work full time, but I work from home on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, which allows me to spend extra time with your pet throughout the day. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I’m available before and after work, meaning your pet would typically only be alone for about eight hours during the workday. I’m also available most weekends and can provide frequent potty breaks and check-ins throughout the day. At this time, I’m only offering care in clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I do my best to make pets feel safe, cared for, and loved while their owners are away by sticking closely to their normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I understand every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I adjust my care based on their needs and energy level. I also make sure owners stay updated with regular photos and messages for peace of mind while they’re away.

About: I have been raising my own puppy, Vader (black lab), since April 2025 which has taught me both how to handle an energetic dog and what their body language means. I also grew up with two labs at home my entire childhood. I am an EMT and current medical student at MU-WCOM in Indianapolis, so I can assure you that I am fully equipped to follow any strict medical or dietary restrictions your dog may have or handle possible high-stress situations. I am training for an Ironman triathlon as well, so if your dog likes to go on runs (or look like they need to start😉), look no further as I’d love to have a buddy join me. I am generally unavailable on Mondays and Tuesdays, as I have my OMM and clinical anatomy labs on those days. I have lecture Monday-Friday from 8 AM-noon, but after that I would be happy to stop by for your pet! Weekends are completely open for me, however there may be weekends I need to study a lot more than others, so as long as we work out a relative plan in advance there shouldn’t be a problem. I would be glad to let your dog(s) out to use the restroom, play, go for walks/runs, and anything else they may need while you’re away for an extended period of time. Just let me know what their usual schedule is and how you’ve trained them so I know what to expect.
About: I have loved, raised, and responsibly cared for dogs for over 30 years. I also served as a dog trainer and K-9 officer in the United States Marine Corps. I work from home, being attentive, providing loving care is very important to me. With someone always present, I am able to provide companionship, supervision, and a calm, comfortable environment where pets feel safe and cared for. Our home features a secure fenced yard with ample room for exercise, a well-socialized dog and cat, and crate accommodations for overnight stays. About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. I have always had dogs. I became a cat mom a few years ago when we inherited our Grandcat. He is special needs and we love him so much. I have experience with diabetic cats and know how to administer an injection of insulin. I have learned and know a lot about cats now since having my first cat. I have retired from my full -time job after 36 years this last summer. I take care of my own special needs cat on a daily basis. He is a diabetic senior cat and needs two injections a day. I can take the time to play and show attention to your pet in addition to making sure they have their food, water, and any medication needed.

About: I have had a Newfoundland for the last 8 years, he is back at home with my parents. I also just recently got a golden retriever/australian shepherd mix who is now 6 months old! I have always loved animals, especially dogs and I would love to get the opportunity to work with you and your dogs. It would also provide excellent socialization skills with my dog now. I don't have a lot of experience with small dogs, but I am more than willing to walk them and play with them. About: I had dogs all my life growing up and I have a strong love for animals! My daughters and I had a dog for three years before we moved to Indianapolis and we miss that doggy interaction and caring for animals. About: Over the past 9 years I’ve gathered experience from regular pet sitting and walking for family and family friends as well as working at a boarding facility. As a lead animal care attendant it was my job to take care of dogs on a day to day basis and make sure they were as safe and happy as they could be while their people were away. I have looked after pups of all ages from little puppies to senior dogs and of varying sizes. Additionally, I have worked in all kinds of weather from rain to snow to sunshine, as long as it’s safe for myself and the pup. So you can have a little extra peace of mind being away from your pup. For a little extra reassurance, I am also Cat and Dog First Aid Certified through the American Red Cross. I am currently unable to take large/giant dogs unless they are very well leash trained. I currently have a very flexible schedule, so I can easily work with you on what days and times work best for me to look after your pup. Under my care your pets will have the best time! With plenty of cuddles (if they want) and playtime, I'll make sure your dog is in the best, safe care until you return.
