About: Hi! I’m Sidnie, a proud pet parent to three dogs and two cats. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and unique needs, and I understand how stressful it can be to leave them in someone else’s care. One of the biggest reasons I joined Rover is because two of my own dogs have anxiety in boarding and daycare settings. Finding someone I trust to care for them in the comfort of our home has always been important to me, and I want to provide that same peace of mind for other pet parents. Although I’m newer to Rover, I’ve spent the past eight years caring for my own pets every day. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and adapting to each pet’s individual routine and personality. I work downtown Indianapolis on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and remotely the rest of the week, giving me the flexibility to spend more quality time with pets throughout the day. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing fetch, snuggling on the couch, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I’ll tailor my care to what makes them happiest. You’ll receive regular updates and photos throughout your booking, and I’ll treat both your pet and your home with the same care and respect I give my own. I work remotely most of the week, which gives me the flexibility to spend more time with pets throughout the day. On Mondays and Thursdays, I’m in downtown Indianapolis from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and I work from home the rest of the week. Every pet is different, so I carefully follow your care instructions and keep their routine as consistent as possible. Whether it’s medications, feeding schedules, potty breaks, or favorite walking routes, I’ll care for your pet the way you do.

About: I have been helping take care of animals since I was five. I grew up with animals in the house and have always made friends with animals. I have not found an animal that doesn’t like me in my 25 years of life. I help take care of many families who request me multiple times in a year. I am a full-time special education teacher who works from 7:30 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon. I can stay overnight and do drop ins. The times in between the drop ins would just have to be longer during the day due to not being able to leave work. I spend a lot of time with them when I can because they need that consistency of love and care as if their owners were there. I make sure they go to the bathroom, are fed, and given attention since their owners are gone. I love playing with them if they are animals who enjoy playing with toys.

About: Having been around a variety of animals for my entire life I appreciate the joy and place they hold in their family’s lives. My own soul dog (Sheltie named Finn) passed away in 2025 and he is dearly missed. Though he is gone, my love of animals has never changed. They are your family and deserve to be treated as such. I am currently working part-time weekdays until 2 pm. After work, I am available to assist in the care of animals by walking or checking on their welfare. The first thing I do when arriving is ensure that all animals within the home are well by observing them. Once that is assured, I take the time to let them adjust to my presence by allowing them to meet me on their terms. Afterwards, I ensure water bowls are changed or topped off, litter boxes are emptied if needed, and prepare any dogs for their walks.

“Where do I begin? I guess let me start by saying I don’t trust ANYONE except like 3 close friends with my pup. He’s a Norwegian Elkhound & Poodle Mix (a hound-doodle if you will lol). If you know anything about doodles, they are a very high energy/high stimulation breed, and also insanely smart! But also takes soooo much time to train them and consistency is absolutely key with them. With that being said, he learns (and unlearns) QUICK. For example, he used to be a HUGE jumper, and being a bigger lanky dog, it’s not a behavior I would like to be reinforced. After months of training it out of him (yes months…) he was finally not jumping or lunging at people! Yay!! But then… I had a sitter once that told me she made sure he didn’t jump… my security cameras said otherwise. And him jumping scratching my face when I came back home… also said otherwise. However, with Destinee that was absolutely opposite of the case!! She still implemented training with him, adhered closely to his med/eating schedule, played with him, gave him his treats/bones, and just took such great care of him. I could tell just from the pictures (which were also 👩🏼🍳💋) that he was being well taken care of and those behavioral boundaries were still being maintained!! When I got home, I swear he was even calmer than when I had left!! I will definitely be a repeat client for Destinee, and am so happy she was the one that responded to my request 🩵”

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
