I am currently working part-time weekdays until 2 pm. After work, I am available to assist in the care of animals by walking or checking on their welfare.

Safety, trust & environment
The first thing I do when arriving is ensure that all animals within the home are well by observing them. Once that is assured, I take the time to let them adjust to my presence by allowing them to meet me on their terms. Afterwards, I ensure water bowls are changed or topped off, litter boxes are emptied if needed, and prepare any dogs for their walks.

Having been around a variety of animals for my entire life I appreciate the joy and place they hold in their family’s lives. My own soul dog (Sheltie named Finn) passed away in 2025 and he is dearly missed. Though he is gone, my love of animals has never changed. These days I paint animal portraits for shelter donations, care for the pets of family/friends, and now I serve to help those seeking an aid for their furry family member. Every family deserves to know their animal(s) are being cared for with the utmost respect. That is the level of responsibility I take when I will accompany your pet on a walk or to check on them during the day. There is also plenty of room for play and affection! They are your family and deserve to be treated as such.

Trae has cared for my two cats while I was on vacation and he did an excellent job. He would feed them, clean their litter boxes, and play with them. One of my cats is very shy, and now she will come up to him for pets and play with toys. My outgoing cat would play with toys with him right away. Trae followed all my instructions and even sent me pictures and videos of my cats, so I could see they were enjoying his company.
Our dogs are family to Trae. "Trae's coming over" is all you have to say and our 2 dogs are waiting by the door, tails wagging. Trae is great at communicating and keeping us updated and he makes sure they remember their leash manners. Not sure who is having the better time Trae or the dogs!
