BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! This is my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous. But Ariana took good care of my puppy, Indy. She also took so many pictures every step of the way, and that made me feel so comfortable. Thank you, Ariana for taking care of my baby! Indie will definitely see more of you and his future!

About: I’ve been around all types of dogs my whole life, from puppies to seniors. Along with house sitting for family and friends, I have worked in a kennel and with shelter animals. I am also heading towards a career working with animals! I am working part time, but am flexible with my schedule. I am always available afternoons and nights on weekdays and weekends. I can also make mornings work if needed! I have an anxious boy at home who is not great with other animals, so caring for pets in their home would work best for me. I can follow instructions down to the letter and am adaptable to any schedules in place!

About: I have had a dog of myself for 10+ years, and he has definitely helped me learn a lot! I’m able to easily form great relationships with any dog I have met (so far), and absolutely adore being around them and caring for them. Thanks to my experience as a dog owner, I know all there is to know of the basics of caring for dogs of all ages. My current job has me working 2-6 Monday through Friday, and 1:15-6 on Wednesdays. Since I don’t work long hours, that leaves me pretty open when it comes to pet care! Since I don’t offer boarding in my own home, I will travel to yours to care for your pet. When housesitting, I tend to hang out in the area where your pet is in the most to keep an eye on them if they need anything, and to keep them company while I’m around (if I can, I also like being on the floor so if they want to come and say hi or get some pets I’m right within their reach)! Also, I may be unfamiliar with the neighborhood, but that won’t discourage me from taking your furry friend on walks if they’re able!

About: As a dedicated pet sitter, I offer personalized care and attention that sets me apart from others. My passion for animals means I treat every pet like my own, ensuring they feel loved and secure while you're away. With flexible scheduling, daily updates, and a commitment to keeping your pets happy and healthy, you can trust that your furry friends are in the best hands. I have first hand experience with being an intern at a vet hospital and reliability that gives you peace of mind, knowing your pets are cared for by someone who truly understands their needs. Pet care is a big part of my daily routine. I spend time feeding, walking my dogs, playing with my cats, and taking care of the chickens and pig. Each day is filled with love and attention for all my pets! I care for pets in my home and my clients' homes by providing a safe and comfortable environment. I ensure that all pets have access to fresh water, food, and plenty of playtime. For dogs, I take them on regular walks and engage in fun activities. For cats, I love interactive play and cuddling. I also maintain a clean space, ensuring litter boxes are kept clean and living areas are free of hazards. I keep pet owners updated with photos and messages about their pets' well-being.

AMAZING! Spectacular! There isn’t a word to express how amazing Jason and Tania are! Kona was treated like a king :) Tania sent the best pictures and always let me know how Kona was feeling. She communicated every concern and showed how much she loves what she does. After a few walks she figured out his likes and dislikes and just let my pup do his thing whether that was rolling in the grass and just chilling or watching all the squirrels. Kona also LOVED Tania, you could tell by the pictures. I was always at ease knowing that Kona was being cared for so wonderfully. Not only are the best people ever, they are also extremely flexible and are amazing communicators. When ever I had a last minute walk needed or a change in schedule they were eager to help make that change. They will be Kona's number one choice for walks for life. ❤️

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Reds Corner. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Reds Corner.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Reds Corner. On Rover:

  • 89% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
